BANG!
Severo finished without a moment’s pause and turned to leave.
The loud sound of the bedroom door closing echoed through the room.
Allyce sat stunned on the bed, her mind a jumble of confusion.
She carelessly scratched her long curly hair and slumped backwards in annoyance before lying down on the bed.
All I could think about was Gabrio’s soft smile and what Severo had said.
With her mind in turmoil, Allyce fell asleep thinking about it.

It was dusk when he woke up again.
The phone next to the bed kept ringing.
Allyce was confused for a few moments before slowly getting out of bed and picking up the phone.
The number displayed on the screen was unknown.
Allyce hesitated for a moment before picking up the phone.
“Hello”.
There was silence on the other end of the line.
Just as Allyce wondered who might have dialed the wrong number, a familiar and unfamiliar voice rang on the other end of the line.
“Long time no see, my first big present to you, what do you think?”
Allyce’s hand, which was about to be dishevelled, shuddered as the voice …
He withdrew his hand, his whole body hidden in the dim light, his eyes slowly narrowed as he called out a name: “Izar!”
At the mention of the name again, Allyce had the feeling that she was a world away.
“I’m surprised you can still hear my voice.” Izar’s voice sounded clear and somewhat different from before, but those who knew her well were able to hear it.
Allyce didn’t care to hear Izar’s implied exclamations, she sat up straight and blurted out, “Where are you? What have you done again?”
“See you soon. Naturally, Izar ignored Allyce’s question, and with those words simply hung up the phone.
There was a busy tone on the phone and Allyce reluctantly picked up the phone and called her name: “Izar!
Allyce dialled the number again, the expected call had been cut off.
Allyce’s mind, which had cleared a little after a good night’s sleep, was completely confused by Izar’s unexpected call.
At that moment, there was a knock at the door.
Allyce froze slightly.
She had been forcibly brought in by Severo at noon, and it was about six o’clock.
If she kept calling at this hour, it would be the villa maid calling her for dinner.
Allyce said to the door as she got out of bed: “I’ll be there in a minute.
The person at the door replied, “Yes”, in a muffled voice.
Then there was silence.
When Allyce finished washing and changing and went to the dining room, she found Dita alone at the table.
As soon as Dita saw Allyce, she greeted her warmly: “Madam, come and eat.
“I’ve said many times you can call me by my name.” Allyce was a little puzzled.
“Whatever.” Dita looked at her with an unusually broad smile.
Dita, although normally affectionate with her, was clearly overly enthusiastic at the moment.
Allyce wasn’t stupid, but she knew exactly why Dita was like this.
He asked no questions and ate his dinner in silence.
He put the knife and fork in his hand, pursed his lips and said: “The boss and my brother went to a dinner together tonight, the other party is an important and very difficult client, so the boss had to go.
Dita finished her sentence and went to look at Allyce’s expression.
Seeing that Allyce’s face was light and unresponsive, Dita couldn’t help but feel a little annoyed.
Although she was telling the truth, she knew exactly what Severo’s reason for going to the show was.
He had heard about everything that had happened at lunchtime from Xabat.
She didn’t find it a problem at all, but the two of them got into it.
Severo had barely socialised in the last few years and suddenly he was going to do so tonight, and not because he was having a tantrum with Allyce.
“Yes, I know.” Allyce smiled and put down the chopsticks, “I’m full, take your time.”
Amidst Dita’s stare, Allyce got up and left, without giving Dita a chance to say anything else.
Naturally, Dita wanted to console her.
While she was grateful for Dita’s heart, she had to admit that Dita’s words did not comfort her.
The conflict between her and Severo was to be resolved by both of them.
Allyce went back to her room and, thinking that Severo could not drink, picked up her mobile phone and called Xabat.
Although he had fallen out with Severo, he wasn’t going to let him get away with it.
The call was slow in coming.
Allyce guessed that Xabat had probably avoided the calls before answering her.
“Madam.” The background on Xabat’s side was quiet, without any noise.
It seemed that, as Allyce had thought, he had avoided people before answering the phone.
I must say that Xabat and Dita, Severo’s two right hands, had nothing to envy the others, cunning and versatile.
Allyce paused before saying: “Keep an eye on Severo, don’t let him drink.
“I know that …” He knew it, but it was useless, Severo wouldn’t listen to him.
Allyce had thought of that too, Severo was so unpredictable and stubborn that he wouldn’t even listen to her, let alone Xabat.
“You know his health, make sure he drinks as little as possible …” said Allyce, suddenly unable to continue.
Xabat, on the other side, hesitated before speaking: “Madam, you know how the boss is, he doesn’t always listen to me when I talk to him, or he might call you …”.
“It’s no use, he won’t even come back for dinner, where is he going to listen to me, well, let’s leave it at that, you guys finish early and come back soon”.
Xabat replied, and when Allyce hung up, he did not enter the box, but stood thoughtfully in his place with his arms intertwined, as if he was thinking about something.
What a thing with the boss and his wife!
Right now, in the cabin, Xabat had noticed that Severo was looking at his phone almost every ten minutes.
If he wasn’t expecting Allyce’s call, I didn’t believe him.
He had to take care of his boss’s work, he had to take care of his boss’s life, and even when his boss fell in love, he, an old bachelor, worried about it.
When is this going to end?
When Xabat entered, he found that all the people at the table, who were still in good spirits, were dejected.
He turned to Severo in shock.
Before I could say anything, Severo spoke coldly: “You took so long to come back, I thought you had died out there”.
Xabat choked and mentally reassured himself that every time his boss got into a fight with his wife, he was like a man with gunpowder and would explode at anyone he saw.
So he could only smile: “Huh”.
