Allyce’s face, which had already changed colour, was even whiter.
His whole body shuddered violently and it took him a moment to find his voice: “But Severo hasn’t had any abnormality for a long time …”
In fact, there was something unusual.
Some time ago, she thought Severo’s temperament was strange.
But recently Severo had returned to normal behaviour.
Allyce thought about it, but gradually told Victorino these things.
Victorino was silent for a moment and said, “Severo’s willpower is extraordinary, and it is difficult for it to be affected under normal circumstances, so the current situation seems that his condition should not be as bad as one might think. ”
When Allyce heard him say this, the boulder weighing on his heart finally lifted and he breathed a little easier.
Only that boulder still hung over his heart.
Victorino was a very strict man, and he had come in a hurry because it was a very serious matter.
The antidote against the K1LU73 virus has side effects, that’s for sure, but we don’t know how much Severo will be affected.
From what he used to do with Severo, it didn’t seem that this one’s situation was any different.
As Severo was not there, the two did not continue the conversation.
Victorino soon left for his laboratory.
Severo was really spending a lot of money on Victorino.
In both J and Z, hundreds of millions of dollars had been spent in his lab.
Severo will only be in J for a short time, and Victorino, naturally, has no intention of returning when he arrives, so first he has to make a trip back to the lab.

In the evening, Severo returned alone.
Allyce looked behind him and, seeing that he was indeed alone, asked: “Where are Xabat and Dita?
“They’ve gone off to socialise.” Severo grabbed his suit jacket with one hand and with the other guided Allyce inside with a matter-of-fact tone.
Allyce laughed, “You’re not too polite to boss them around”.
“They’re glad I sent them.” Severo released her and slipped his arm around her shoulders.
Look at that tone of voice.
Allyce glared at him before talking business.
“Dr. Griego is back”.
“I know.
“How do you know, Dr. Griego called you? Either that or Victorino had gone to the surgery.
I guess he didn’t have time, though.
Is it in Victorino’s character to go to the lab and make time for a phone call to Severo?
“I knew she was coming to see you as soon as she entered the house.” Severo made no secret that the housekeeper would keep him informed of Allyce’s situation.
“So that’s how it is …” Allyce was not offended by Severo’s attention to her.
And what she didn’t know was that not only would Severo know what she saw and did, but even what she had eaten for lunch Severo was fully aware of.
It occurred to Allyce that Victorino had mentioned earlier that Severo could be self-inhibited, so couldn’t she assume that Severo knew something too?
But it was better to let Victorino talk to him about such a professional matter.
The two rested in the courtyard after dinner and by the time Dita helped Xabat inside, Allyce and Severo were sitting in the living room watching television.
They both had the old people’s routine.
Allyce was watching a variety programme in English and, although she could understand it, she had the bad taste to ask Severo to translate it.
Severo translates the funny lines into a cold, deadpan tone, with an indescribable sense of disgust, but it amuses Allyce so much that she collapses on top of Severo with laughter.
Severo didn’t even bother to help her.
Allyce laughed so hard that tears came to her eyes, tugged on Severo’s arm and poked him in the corner of the lips with her other hand. “Come on, smile, it’s funny.”
If she hadn’t seen Severo’s smile before, Allyce would have thought it was a facepalm.
“There’s nothing funny about it.” Severo took his hand away and finally gave her a hand to help her.
It was at that moment that a pair of servants headed outside.
Allyce bent her head to look and heard Dita’s panting voice: “Tired, tired, tired … hurry up and help this dead drunk get inside”.
Two maids then helped Xabat to enter.
Allyce had not seen much of Xabat’s drunken appearance.
He raised his finger in the air like a fool: “Trying to pick up Dita, drink to death …”.
Xabat’s face was so in profile that he was speaking in Z. Still, it made Allyce feel a little out of place.
Allyce thought and got up to meet him.
Dita ruffled her hair and when she saw Allyce, she pulled her to her and said, “I don’t care, he can’t hold my drink as well as I can …”.
Allyce wanted to laugh at that.
Although they are siblings, for Allyce, an only child, having a real brother to protect her is something to envy.
Affection and love are always two different feelings.
Although he had always said he considered Gabrio his brother, there was a difference between blood and affection.
Allyce looked at Dita, who was still cursing Xabat, and spoke in a low voice: “Dr. Griego is back.
“I know, the boss informed him to come back”. Dita replied.
Allyce added slowly: “He arrived in J this morning, was already at the house and then went back to the lab.
As soon as the words were out of her mouth, Dita, who had been standing next to her, ran into the kitchen like the wind, shouting as she ran, “Honey, make me a vegetarian sandwich, the lighter the better, and I want it now.”
The “sweetheart” Dita refers to is the head cook in the village, a middle-aged woman in her forties. Dita always teased her because she was so good at her job, and called her “sweetheart” when asked.
When Allyce first heard Allyce call her that, she was so shocked that she spat out a mouthful of rice.
Dita seems to really like Victorino for being so aggressive.

Dita sent Victorino an affectionate midnight snack and did not return all night.
Allyce thought to herself with mixed feelings: “Dita really is a woman of the world, she has got Victorino so easily.
The next morning, when she woke up and saw Victorino and Dita sitting at the table, she was even more sure of what she thought.
Because Victorino looked tired and obviously hadn’t slept well, while Dita was in a good mood.
