The bed?
Allyce was startled, how could she be sleeping in bed, she had slept on the edge of the bed before, how could she be in bed?
By the way, where was Severo?
He lifted the sheets and rolled out of bed.
He looked around, this was indeed Severo’s room.
Would she now be in bed because Severo had woken up? Had he woken up and that is why he had taken her to bed?
Yes, that must be it.
Thinking about it made him glad that Severo was actually awake.
“Severo!”
He called Severo by name as he made his way to the other rooms.
Neither in the kitchen nor in the bathroom, he searched the whole room and there was no trace of Severo.
He panicked, where could Severo have gone?
He ran out, calling Severo by name.
He searched all the floors, but there was no sign of Severo, and he panicked.
Finally, he saw Severo sitting in a chair on the park promenade.
He was still in his hospital gown, his face unusually pale from his ill health and the five days he had slept, but his face was back to what it should have been at his age.
He had not woken up for the last few days, but his face was recovering day by day.
Allyce sometimes looked at his face and thought it was amazing.
If he had not seen it with his own eyes, he would have found it hard to believe that there could be something that could defy the laws of nature and cause a person to age rapidly and regain their original appearance.
But this was not important to her.
What mattered was that Severo was alive and well.
“How did you get here?
Allyce took one step at a time, slowly approaching Severo, and after saying that, tears immediately fell from her eyes.
His words fell, and only a few seconds later Severo’s eyes rested on his face, as if he had finally come to his senses.
As she met Severo’s dark eyes, the tension and fear in Allyce’s heart exploded and she sobbed uncontrollably.
She was so blinded that she didn’t notice that Severo’s face was unusually cold. He stared at Allyce for half a minute before slowly reaching out and pulling her into his arms.
He wrapped his arms around Allyce’s soft body, one large hand on her back, stroking her gently with a soothing touch, chin resting on the top of her hair, his voice low and deep, “Aren’t you glad she’s okay? Why are you crying like that?”
“Because I’m happy …” Allyce sniffled loudly and looked up at him with a smile as she lifted her head from Severo’s arms.
Allyce’s eyes were still red and his were as clear as if they had been washed out with water, and Severus squeezed the back of her neck and kissed her.
The kiss was extremely gentle and not like Severo’s usual style.
Allyce responded passionately, her heart just felt that Severo was back, that it was really him and that he was completely fine.
The Severo who could talk and kiss was back.
By the end of the kiss, Allyce had gone limp in his arms and was panting.
Severo’s breathing was slightly agitated, one hand gently stroking her hair, his voice slightly muffled, “Obviously I’m the one with the physical condition, but you seem to be weaker than me, just one kiss and you can’t do it?”
Allyce blushed at his meaningful words and punched him lightly to show her displeasure, but only after doing so did she remember that Severo had just recovered.
Then he remembered that he had only been glad that Severo had finally woken up, but had not asked him if he was uncomfortable, so he hastened to say, “Are you uncomfortable? How do you feel?”
“I wasn’t feeling very well, but now I feel fine.” Severo smiled a parting smile and reached out to touch her lips.
“Don’t talk about anything else, I’m asking you a question, now let’s go and get Dr. Griego to check you again. Allyce said as she was about to get up.
She had been so careless, Severo had slept for five days before waking up, it was definitely time to check him first, otherwise his mind would be restless all the time.
“Let me hold you a little longer, as soon as I wake up, mention another man in front of me, or I’ll get angry. Severo’s voice was low and a little off.
Allyce snorted and lost her smile: “Stop it.
She just thought Severo was joking, how could he be jealous of Victorino, otherwise it would be really irrational.
Despite his words, in the end he could not bear to go against his wishes.
Since Severo did not want to go to see Victorino now, he could go later.

It was some time before the two went to Victorino together.
Severo had not woken up for the last few days, and Victorino had been working on what was happening with the antidote against the K1LU73 virus for the last few days, doing experiments or following the changes in Severo’s condition.
Seeing Severo suddenly appear in front of him, he froze for a long moment before replying: “How are you, sir?
When he finished, without waiting for Severo to say anything, he frowned hard again and removed his eyes from the bridge of his nose and wiped them and put them back in.
As he put them on, he said, “I can’t be seeing things”.
Allyce couldn’t help but laugh at his words, it seemed that Victorino was too exhausted by the last few days to say anything like that.
Allyce held out her hand and waved it in front of Victorino twice: “Doctor Griego, listen to me, Severo is very well, he is waking up”.
Victorino also turned to Severo at that moment and exclaimed in surprise: “It’s really the gentleman”.
“You should give him a quick physical.” Allyce hurriedly pushed Severo in front of Victorino.
Victorino busied himself gathering his things.
Two hours had already passed when he finished looking over Severo’s body. He was really very careful in this physical examination of Severo, not sparing a single strand of hair.
After waiting a while longer, Victorino finally came out with the test results.
“Congratulations, sir, there are no more abnormalities in your body”. Victorino handed the results to Allyce with a sincere smile on his face.
Allyce took the results with glee and turned her head to look at Severo, only to find that Severo’s face was light and did not look particularly happy.
Allyce was relieved to see that Severo was always like that, always restrained, happy or unhappy, and if he didn’t want to show it, it would be hard for others to guess.
