Chapter 384: Photographs

The reason was that Allyce had brought his bodyguards and Enzo had probably come alone for fear that someone would notice something.
So when Allyce wanted to take Senona away, there was nothing he could do to stop her.
Allyce took Senona back to Cloudy Bay and got a doctor to examine her. By the time he was finished, it was already two in the morning and Allyce was a little tired.
He leaned against the door and began to yawn.
Senona sat up in bed and said aloud: “Go to sleep.
“Yes.” Allyce replied weakly and turned to go back to her room.
“Wait a minute.
Senona suddenly called her back.
Allyce turned her head: “Anything else?
“Tonight …” Senona hesitated for a moment before saying, “Thank you very much for tonight.”
With that, he turned his head to one side, his face full of discomfort.
“You know you annoy me too, so come back to the Delahoz family tomorrow”. Allyce said, and left immediately.

The following day.
Allyce got up early, today she had to go to work at Moon Culture Group.
As he came downstairs, he heard movement in the kitchen.
He approached and saw Senona in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
Senona’s hair was tied back, she was still wearing yesterday’s clothes, her small belly protruded slightly and she looked a little slick.
Sensing someone looking behind her, Senona turned her head and when she saw it was Allyce, she froze before saying, “Good morning”.
“Good morning.” Allyce nodded slightly.
It was an uncomfortable scene.
Two incompatible people living under the same roof.
Allyce asked him: “Can you cook?
I actually knew very little, almost nothing, about Senona.
“Well, since Mrs. Aybar likes a daughter-in-law who can cook, I have sought out cooking classes specifically to learn.” Senona’s voice trailed off.
Allyce didn’t answer either as she watched Senona bring all the food to the table.
“You’re going to work, aren’t you? Come eat before you go to work.” Senona didn’t look very comfortable, but there was a look of anticipation in her eyes.
Words of rejection came to his lips and he swallowed them.
The two finished their breakfast in silence.
Allyce’s arm was healing, but she could not drive.
The bodyguard was waiting for her outside and Allyce asked Senona: “I’ll take you to the Delahoz family on the way”.

Allyce did not take Senona back to the Delahoz family.
Once out of the Bay in the Clouds and into the city, Senona got out of the car by herself.
“You go to work, I’ll come back on my own,” Senona said, and got out of the car.
Allyce didn’t see her go far either before he said to the driver, “Let’s go”.
Whether Senona had really come to her senses or it was just a passing thought, Allyce decided not to bother her any more.

Lunar Culture Group.
Ester was startled to see Allyce, “Principal Delahoz!”
Allyce was not bothered by his surprise and asked directly, “Is President Alvidrez here?”
“President Alvidrez returned to Ciudad del Cielo two days ago”.
Allyce walked so fast that Ester could only jog to keep up with Allyce.
Earlier, after what Desiderio had said to her, she had turned against Desiderio in her heart.
Then Jonás Aybar had died in prison and she had gone to look for Severo, and so far she had not approached Desiderio.
And Desiderio, as if angry with her in general, has not contacted her either.
But anyway, Desiderio was his uncle.
Allyce paused, pursed her lips and said: “I know.
When he arrived at the office, he decided to call Desiderio anyway.
It took a while for the phone to ring.
Desiderio’s voice was still soft and inviting: “Allyce?”
Allyce didn’t hear anything strange in his voice and didn’t feel like squirming, so she just spoke politely, “Dude, you … back in Sky City?”.
“Well, have you been to work in the office?” The sound of flipping through a book came from the other end.
Without waiting for Allyce to speak further, Desiderio added: “I have a meeting soon, I’ll call you.
The phone was quickly hung up.
Allyce didn’t understand what Desiderio was thinking.
I had never really understood Desiderio, because he rarely got angry.
Unlike Severo, who frowned when he was angry and upset, at least she could feel his mood change.

Allyce had wanted to stay out of Senona’s affairs.
But in the afternoon, the mainstream media broke the big news.
The news consisted not only of textual criticism but also of an endless collection of photos.
All of them, photos of Enzo in intimacy with other women.
In the earlier ones, Allyce could vaguely name the women who appeared in them, but the later ones seemed increasingly vulgar, dressed in revealing and vulgar clothes, needless to say they were the kind of women who were outdoors.
It didn’t take much thought for Allyce to know that it was Senona who had done this.
Allyce looked at some of the photos and some of the people in them were still wearing winter clothes.
This meant that Senona had known that Enzo had been fooling around with women for a long time, but had never acted on it.
If Enzo had not done what he did afterwards and left Senona desperate and dead, he might have gone on living as if nothing had happened.
Allyce closed the news page, took care of some important business and returned to the office without staying.
Back in the car, he received a call from Severo.
Severo scolded her.
“Allyce, are you crazy, what do you care what happens to Senona? You’ve had enough of going to save her, ….”
Allyce didn’t get angry and said lightly, “When are you coming back?”.
A simple sentence that managed to cut off Severo’s subsequent words.
Severo had spoken to Allyce on the phone yesterday and was a little relieved to hear that there was a bodyguard at home, but he had just called to ask about the bodyguard when he heard that he had saved Senona.
He was not impressed by Senona.
At the sound of Allyce’s soft voice, what little anger she had in her heart dissipated and she asked, “Did you miss me?
Allyce looked at the driver in front of her and lowered her voice slightly: “Yes, when are you coming back?
“I’ll be as soon as I can …”

The entrance to the villa.
As soon as Allyce got out of the car, she saw Senona sitting in the flowerbed by the door.
His whole body looked tired.
Seeing Allyce get out of the car, Senona hurried to her feet.
“What are you doing here?” Allyce’s face wore a clear expression of displeasure.
Senona was a little embarrassed: “I don’t want to stay in the Delahoz family.
People in the Delahoz Family were tired of hearing nothing but regret for having misjudged Enzo in the first place, or blaming her for having misjudged the person.
He felt that staying in the Delahoz Family was better than staying with Allyce.
It was a strange feeling, she and Allyce had some of the same blood and in the last twenty years she had never been friends with Allyce.
At this point I felt that Allyce was friendlier than the rest of the Delahoz family.
