It was almost dawn when William arrived home.
Jane was tired after giving birth and slept soundly.
William got changed and sat beside Jane’s bed, looking at her.
William had to go back soon.
Pearl was kidnapped. It had a great impact. Many plans had to be brought ahead. And the killers from the Evil Organization used guns, which meant that they had no other choices.
Jane opened her eyes and saw a black figure.
“Janie, you’re awake.”
William was about to leave. He turned around to take a look at Jane again.
Jane rubbed her eyes. She just woke up and her voice was still a little soft and cute. “William?”
“I’m here.”
William was at the door. He walked back and asked with concern, “Are you okay?”
They had agreed that William would accompany Jane after she gave birth. But now William couldn’t.
Jane fell down on the ground, gave birth early and suffered terrible pain. From entering the delivery room to the birth of the twins, Jane had been in pain for more than two hours.
The obstetrics doctor said that it was her second delivery, or she might suffer the whole night. William saw Jane’s pale face and knew that she had suffered.
Dan and Ben were different to William.

Jane liked children who were obedient. But she also felt sorry for Dayton. He was so young but knew a lot.

Pearl went to the airport to pick up her parents. They still didn’t know that Pearl was kidnapped.
“Don’t worry. I’ve sent someone to pick Pearl’s parents up. They are safe.”
William gently patted Jane on the shoulder and told her not to worry.
The Evil Organization captured Pearl. To some extent, Pearl suffered for Jane.

William said coldly as he closed his eyes.

However, Pearl was Jane’s good friend, so William had to save her. He had to think about a good way to make the best of both worlds.
At that moment, the grey clouds dispersed and the sun rose.
Pearl opened her eyes and found that she was lying on something cold.
It was October and it was autumn in City J. It was cold in the morning and evening. The table she was lying on was made of metal. It was smooth.
Pearl thought of the medical films she had seen. This bed was like the one for autopsy.

Randy went to the hospital after a stage accident. His assistant, Jovanny, came to Robert twice.
Pearl patted her head and admired her good memory.
She raised her hand and found that her palm was soft and her whole body was sore. She wanted to sit up, but she couldn’t move.
She didn’t know what time it was. There was a light on the ceiling above her. It was a bit dazzling.
She was lying in the middle of the room. There were rows of iron cabinets not far away. They were exactly the same as the ones to store bodies.
Pearl trembled. She was not afraid of being kidnapped but of haunting.
“You’re awake.”
The door opened.
A man in black walked in. He was wearing a black hat, a black windbreaker, and a black mask.
“Who are you? Why did you capture me?”
Seeing a man come in, Pearl felt a bit more relaxed.
“You’ll know in a moment.”
His voice was not low and a little pleasant.
Almost all his face was covered. Pearl couldn’t see his appearance at all. She could only see that he was tall and not fat.
“How much do you want? Just let me go.”
Pearl tried to probe. They used guns when kidnapping her. They were definitely desperados. She had to think of a way to save herself.
“Money? How much are you willing to pay?”
Randy lowered his hat and asked with a smile.
Her parents worked in the diamond business and were rich. But Pearl didn’t know that a natural diamond mine of her family in South Africa collapsed and many people died.
Pearl’s parents returned because they were pestered by the family members of the dead and the injured. After compensating a lot of money, they hurriedly left.
