Olivia
I slowly opened my eyes. I rolled over and looked at the window and it was shiny already. I groaned and stretched out my body and sat on the mattress. Recalling what happened last night.
My cheeks flushed.
I couldn’t believe I made Blake crossed the line. I just made him do something forbidden and dirty.
It was my fault. I was the one who triggered it all. I felt guilty and dirty and I thought I couldn’t face Blake anymore.
And I was still in Vegas, maybe I should go home alone. But then I would see him again back at home.
I was lost on what to do. I wanted to cry.
I looked down at myself and Blake’s shirt was still attached. I didn’t lock the door and it seemed Blake was only threatening me because he didn’t do anything further to me last night.
My stomach growled and I walked down the bed and went to the door. Feeling hesitating to open it because I knew Blake was going to be out there. I didn’t know how to react in front of him.
Inhaled and exhaled. Inhaled and exhaled. Once I calmed down a bit, I grabbed the handle and opened the door slowly. I peeked and Blake was not there. That relieved me and I walked out. I went to the living room and the dining room but Blake was nowhere to be found.
Maybe he was just the same as me. He couldn’t face me and chose to go out. But was that what he would be doing for the rest of his life? Avoiding me whenever we got into trouble or a fight? And he had touched me that way, was he going to avoiding me forever?
Maybe we would go back like before again. The time where I rarely see him. The time where I wouldn’t be seeing him when I opened and closed my eyes.
I didn’t want that.
It didn’t matter anymore. I had to see him. If he didn’t want to talk to me, I would make him.
I turned back to my bedroom, taking a quick shower, and put on my t-shirt and jeans. I grabbed my purse with wallet and phone inside and walked out.
Once I was in the lobby, I just realized that I had no idea where to look for Blake. But I had to try. I couldn’t sit still and doing nothing. This was the risk I had to take.
I walked out of the hotel and looked around the street. Foreign place. Foreign people. I had no idea where to look first. I didn’t have anyone to help me. I was on my own. I began to walk on the pedestrian street, looking over the restaurants and cafés to see if Blake was there. I even checked the stores to see if maybe Blake would be there with someone else. Possibly a woman. Or an escort.
I had no idea how many hours have passed. I hadn’t found Blake yet. My head began to dizzy. I just remembered that I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet.
I looked at my phone and it was already four in the afternoon. I glimpsed my phone before I walked out of the room and it has been three hours since I left the hotel. I began to wonder if Blake had returned to the hotel but if he did, he would ring me for sure. The worst-case scenario…was Blake had left me and went back to LA.
I shook my head. Blake would never do that. I believed he was still here, somewhere, and I would find him and made him talk.
I began to look again. I had probably gone far away from the Four Seasons but I wouldn’t give up until I found him. It was almost dark and zero results. Maybe I should return but I had no strength. I sat on the bench. “Blake…”
I didn’t want anything to change between us. I was shocked, obviously. I never thought Blake would touch me. I never thought I would change after he did that. Other than that, I wanted to see him. I would forgive him for what he did. I would ask for forgiveness and I wanted everything to return as we used to be.
I needed that and that’s why I wanted to see Blake right now. I wanted to see his face.
“Blake, where are you?” I cried.
It didn’t matter if he was going to angry with me but at least not giving me the silent treatment. I hated it. I wanted him to give some reaction to me.
“Hi, beautiful.” Until I could sense a presence near me. Not one, not two, but more. “Why are you crying?” he asked but I couldn’t raise my head.
“Why don’t you join us, sweetie? We’ll make you happy and forget everything,” the voice two spoke. I knew they were trying to flirt with me but I was in no position to say no or anything. I just had no energy for it. My eyes were watery and the world was spinning around me. “H-Hey, are you okay?” voice one asked. My body was so light. I’m going to pass out!
“Olivia!” That was the last thing I remembered before the darkness finally consumed me.

“She’s alright, Blake. Just lack of food and water in her system.” I could hear a foreign voice was talking.
“She better be.” This time, I could hear his voice.
“I’ll make some tea for her.”
“Thank you.”
I slowly opened my eyes. “Blake?” I weakly called him. He moved closer to me.
“Olivia.” His tone hinted the relief as he took my hand placed a kiss on my palm. “You scared me to death. When I came back home and you were nowhere to be found, I got panic and looked everywhere for you. Why were you wandering very far from the hotel, sweetheart? No to mention, without eating anything. You could have passed out somewhere and you will have no idea who’s going to take you. You’re really lucky that I found you.”
I could feel his hands were trembling. Even his body. I worried him and now I felt guilty. “I’m sorry.” That’s all that I could say to him.
Blake raised his head so he would look at me. He moved closer and rubbed my forehead. “Please don’t do that again. You almost made me got a million-heart attack. What were you doing?”
“I was…looking for you. You were not in the room so I was looking for you.”
His eyes flashed the guilt. “I’m sorry. I forgot to leave any notes or sent you a message. I just wanted to clear my head off a bit.” So, it was true that Blake was going somewhere to clear the stress from him.
“What were you doing this time?” And he fell silent. Like it was hard for him to answer me. “Blake?”
“I was meeting a friend.” A friend?
“Who—”
“Oh, is the daughter awake?” Someone opened the door and walked in with two glasses on her hold. A woman, an adult, maybe around Blake’s age. She had long brunette hair and very tall, probably almost at Blake’s height. She walked closer and gave me a cup of warm tea to me and Blake. I accepted it willingly.
I glanced back at her again and she was amazingly beautiful. But who was she?
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Olivia. I’m Doctor Sharon Cassandra, I believe this is our second meeting.” She stretched out her hand for me to shake. The second? What was she talking about?
“She was the Doctor who examined you the other day,” Blake stated. That explained it. I shook her hand.
“You should drink the tea, sweetie. That will make you feel better.” Oh, right. This time tea would make me feel better. Not Blake’s skillful hands and mouth. “You passed out without any food or liquid in your system. And you,” she turned her head to Blake. “You’re supposed to at least let her know where the hell were you going,” she scolded him.
I was quite shocked. Watching how Sharon easily scolded Blake, made me wonder about their relationship. “You two are lucky because you are in Vegas because I’m currently working here,” she said and looked back at me while smiling sweetly. “He used to be my classmate back in high school. He never changed, did he? Always look so gloomy.”
I saw Blake and he was rolling his eyes. Unhappy that this woman just blurted his worst attitude. “Your work is done here, Sharon,” Blake said.
“Yes. I should go back to the hospital now. It is really nice meeting you, Olivia.”
“It’s nice to meet you as well.”
“Blake, don’t ever do that again to your daughter,” she reminded and walked out of the room. Leaving us alone.
Blake turned his attention back on me. He mentioned that he was meeting a friend, was it her? “You don’t need to think anything weird because our relationship is nothing like what are you thinking right now,” he suddenly confessed. “She’s married and living a happy life with her husband and a lovely son,” he added. That was rather relieving to me. Maybe he sensed my uneasiness to think that he left me and with someone else. With a woman.
“You need to eat. What would you like?”
“Actually, I prefer to talk.”
“Well, we could talk after you eat. I don’t want you to pass out again.” Before I could protest, he walked out of the room but a second later entered the room again. “You don’t mind if I order anything I want?”
“No.” He smiled and walked out of the room. My stomach growled loudly. I definitely needed something to eat.
I would talk to him after I eat.
