“Mr. Montreal, ask you to do this, Mrs. Bailey. ”
Rhezi immediately looked up from crouching. Her sight instantly caught Kraius ‘secretary. She was staring at her while holding the papers. She wears thick eyeglasses which she lowered so that she could see her well.
“Excuse me,” Rhezi asked, confused. She also raised an eyebrow at Kriaus’s secretary to which she also did the same.
“Just do it, Mrs. Bailey, ” she muttered. She couldn’t see even the slightest reaction.
Rhezi just sighed and accepted the papers she handed her. While the secretary left immediately without even saying goodbye.
Rhezi shook her head as she read the papers. Mostly about business details of the company he’s managing. She threw away the paper after reading without hesitation and stood from her office desk given by the firm.
It has also been a few weeks since she started working at Montreal Law. And it has been a few weeks passed too that she’s annoyed because of the job given to her. Instead of a case, she read different papers that Kraius gave her.
Wearing her Louboutin heels and her usual office look, Rhezi walked directly to Kraius ‘office. It was only close to the office where she was so she could immediately see Kraius’s secretary outside his office. She was holding the phone on the other while the other one was massaging her forehead. She was obviously annoyed with the person she was talking to that Rhezi did only shrugged her shoulders and passed her by.
Rhezi instantly opened Kraius’ office and was stunned by the sight she saw. Even those who were inside the office were surprised by the sudden opening of the door. Kraius was with a woman kissing her torridly while she was on his lap with arms snake around his neck.
Rhezi hymned and blinked. She regained her composure and walked closely to Kraius ‘table. Kraius on the other hand whispered something to the woman he was with. She stood up and reluctantly walked away from Kraius.
The woman looked beautiful and obviously mature. She was tall and slender, matching the models that can be seen in international magazines. Curled blonde hair that blended to the tube dress and minis skirt she was wearing with a red lipstick on.
“Bitch! You just ruined the moment, ” she said softly and rolled her eyes on her. Rhezi just glanced at her and ignored.
“What a surprise Mrs. Bailey! ” Kraius said immediately after his woman came out.
Rhezi didn’t budge to answer. She walked closely to him and stood in front of him. She faced the young man with a serious aura and stared at him intently. Her anger towards him boiled up, suddenly.
“What do you want ?!” Rhezi asked. She remained stoic and calm. “Are you toying with me, Mr. Montreal? I am not your secretary. So stop sending nonsense papers to me! ” she added.
“Article 358 of the Philippines Revised Penal Code, Attorney Bailey.” Kraius smirked. He also looked at her scrutinizingly.
“Article III of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, Mr. Montreal, ” Rhezi replied with a shrug.
Kraius laughed sarcastically. He raised his eyebrows on Rhezi and shook his head. He even played with his G-Tech pen and smelled it after. He looked happy. Even if the truth was, he wanted to get wild and punished the woman in front of him.
“Witty but cunning,” Kraius said.
“Are you insinuating something, Attorney?” Rhezi replied to him.
Kraius stood up. Rhezi backed away slightly because of what he did. She was caught off guard by the way he looked at her. His brown eyes were piercing through her soul. It was as if he was calculating her every move. Although Rhezi did not want to admit it to herself, it’s understandable that his frightening aura was dominant as he approached where she was situated.
“Article 21 of the Civil Code of the Philippines. A breach of promise to marry-”
” Is not an actionable wrong– ” Rhezi interrupted but was also stopped because of Kraius index finger on her lips.
“But, the latter shall compensate for the damage,” Kraius said vehemently when he finally came closer to her. “Loss or injury in a manner that is contrary to morals.”
Rhezi’s heart hammered. Especially when Kraius crouched even closer to her. Her eyes lingered on his face that was so close to hers. Rhezi just stood in front of Kraius and baited herself in case of anything that might happen. She was dumbfounded and literally fucked up. Seeing Kraius smirked, meant one point for him and a loss for her.
Kraius trailed his finger on Rhezi’s shoulder that made her look up. She even gasped for air to breathe. She also seemed to forget how to breathe because of what Kraius was doing. Her knees also trembled with every touch Kraius has made.
The sensation that Rhezi felt when she was young was still evident. There’s an electric effect for Rhezi which made it even more difficult for her. Especially that she was only wearing a ruffled cotton sleeveless blouse which gave Kraius the more reason to tempt and touch her in a way that only Kraius knew.
“S-Stop it!” Rhezi whispered as she felt Kraius’ hand under her blouse. He was now behind her while his one arm wrapped on her tiny waist and his other hand trailed underneath her blouse, playing her navel.
“Uh, huh?” Kraius whispered in Rhezi’s earlobe.
Rhezi bit her lower lip as she felt Kraius ‘hand touch her tits. He massaged it slowly and without restraint, he took it out from her bra. Without hesitation, Kraius squeezed it, which startled and caused her knees to tremble.
“Fuck you!” Rhezi shrieked. She closed her eyes again when Kraius licked her nape.
Her eyes widened when Kraius ‘hand trailed down to the center of her thighs. She was stunned by the act but a tingling sensation sent shivers to her spine. Rhezi couldn’t utter a word nor move. Though she desperately wanted to be away from him, the urge to do so was weak. She lacked conviction while he was enjoying the game they were both playing.
“See? Your body was still aching for me, Chubz. How dare you leave and come back! How dare you act like this when you are already married to someone, ” he said emphatically. “I should’ve known,” he added after he released Rhezi. I
Kraius’ words seemed to impale Rhezi to where she was standing. Her heart throbbed in pain and her confidence was gone. Kraius’s words were a slap in the face for her. She lost the fight before it even started.
In an instant, she became vulnerable only by his touch. Kraius was still quick to make her do whatever he wanted. She blamed herself but the damage has been done. She was still a traitor to herself when it came to Kraius.
Nevertheless, Rhezi managed to turn her back at Kraius who was walking back to his table. When he finally sat on his swivel chair, Rhezi had dragged herself to bravely talk. She was forced to make her voice steady even if she had been humiliated.
“Yes! I am married. So, stay away from me. I am not the same as your girls. I may be a whore, but I am better than your hoes.” Rhezi exited Kraus’ office while he was dumbfounded.
Kraius cursed as he watched Rhezi leave. He formed his hand into a fist and harshly punched the table. His jaw tightened while gritting his teeth and his playful aura instantly vanished.
Kraius was mad. He was distracted from the sight he saw from last time. Seeing Rhezi happily talking with her husband in a restaurant was madness. He wanted to pull her and took her from him. But, it was not that easy. He was mad at her because of what she had done to him.
Kraius felt betrayed. He wasn’t prepared for it, either. Memories from ten years ago triggered like flashes of lightning and struck him to reality. Lastly, he realized that he was the one who had been playing for the past years. He was fucked up. No matter how rich and intelligent he was.
