I embraced this moment with Jason but I know there will be more memories with him for the rest of my life.
” Are you calm now, Jason? I don’t want you to hide your emotions in front of me.” I worried.
” I can’t say I’m a hundred per cent happy, Milly. But you are still in my life. That’s the important thing for me. Months ago, you drowned. I can’t take the scene out of my mind. This thing is far better than that. You could have died that day and it didn’t happen. I’m grateful for it every day.”
” You are the one who saved me, Jason. I could never forget that. I feel like I don’t deserve it.” I frowned. He saved my life but what did I do for him.
” You deserve it, Milly. If we never met, I would have never felt true love. You helped me with Crystal’s stupid games. I would have caught in it forever without an idea about it. You took the risk to delete our footages. Overall, you are the best thing that happened to me. All the time I have spent with you is precious. I want to have more and more memories with you.” He said.
I realized we both helped and stayed with each other in any problems.
” We will defiently have it. All the moments we had together stay in my mind every day. I’m looking for more of it.” I smiled at him. I’m finally feeling wonderful after all the mess happened in just six months. In the end, everything’s alright. For a little correction, it’s not the end.

After 2 years,
” Smile for the camera,” My dad said as he took a photo of me and Ryder in our prom dress. We finished our high school and my dad’s back here in Florida permanently. It’s not my home town, but this is where I found happiness.
” I can’t believe you finished high school. It feels like you have just born yesterday.” My mom said while dad was clicking the photos. My mom gets emotional today. Time flows faster than we blink our eyes. After some
conversation with my parents, Ryder and I left for his home to see his brother and his mother.
I can’t stop myself from gazing at Ryder. He’s stunning every day and now he’s much more than that in his black tuxedo. I got hold of his hands and crossed to the road to get to his house.
” It’s already getting late I guess,” I told him.
” Yeah, but perfection isn’t my thing. Nothing’s wrong with going late to school.”
” But I hope you know that we aren’t going to class but Prom,” I reminded him.
” I know. I know…” He got interrupted by his brother.
” Hey, bro. I thought you would go straight to school without bringing your girlfriend here,” Shawn said, leaning in the wall in the entrance.
” Well, I and my girlfriend are here to see my mom. Not to talk with you.” Ryder crossed him and entered the house.
” Not fair. Nowadays, you aren’t giving respect for your older brother,” Shawn complained and then I got a glimpse of Ryder’s mom is in the living room.
” You look so beautiful, dear.” that’s how his mom greeted me. She’s so happy to see me. All of his family likes me. Ryder and I love each other. What’s more, do I want in my life? Everything in my life is perfect. I spend the rest of my senior year as Ryder’s girlfriend. We had gone on a lot of dates. Sometimes, we skipped classes to spend time together. I almost explored all the nearby places with him.
And the next best thing is I celebrated Ryder and Jason’s birthday like they never did before. For Ryder, he had his twenty-first birthday. He probably not interested in cutting cake so I did a surprise party at his house. Pearl, Dylan, Jacob helped me with it. That’s not all. Jason helped us with that party too. That’s the first birthday, Ryder spends with me, his girlfriend. I did all the contribution by making the cake with his mom’s help. After that celebration, I bought two tickets to his favourite football match. It wasn’t something that I love but he does. So, I know he would love it. If it makes him happy, I would be happy too.
In a few months, Jason’s birthday arrived. I thought doing the same thing won’t be good enough and my plan can be guessed by him easily. So, I just wished him at twelve and we talked for hours. But that’s not all that I did. Right on his birthday, he got a modelling work. I found out where he would be going on that day. It’s a company where Jason will have a photoshoot session for March month magazine front cover. It was a great opportunity for him. I talked with his mother and Eve, his sister to plan a birthday party in the photoshoot session after the work is over. He has no idea about any of it. Even his family is on my side, helping with the surprise party. My friends, my boyfriend and his friend, Fred is in it too. Once the photoshoot session is over, we all surprised him right at that place. He almost lost his breath at that time. At the end of the day, I did everything to make his nineteenth birthday to be amazing. I took him to a costly hotel with the best view of the city. I know he’s capable of doing it on his own but he shouldn’t be the only one who spends all his money for himself.
I thought all the good memories I made with them in his two years and repeated it again and again until I’m flourished with good vibrations.
” So, I think it’s getting late for both of you. You should leave by now.” Ryder’s mom told us. As Ryder said, we are late again. I know everyone likes to go in the limo on prom but my situation is completely different. We rushed outside. Ryder started his bike engine and I got in it.
” Just hold on to me tightly. We will reach school in ten minutes.” He told me. I feel like going with him on his bike is better than a limo. I nodded to him and smiled to myself. He said he isn’t perfect, but he’s the perfect boy for me.
” You are late. Again and again and again. What are you thinking, Em?” Pearl glared at me in the entrance once we reached school.
” Cause she’s with me. You can’t expect her to be early.” Ryder spoke for me as he took his helmet off of his head.
” Yeah, you are the reason, Ryder but I will still scold her,”
” Calm down, Pearl. Where’s your date? Huh,” I asked her, diverting her mind. In case I forgot to tell you, Pearl and Dylan are dating. He did a promposal to my best friend and now she’s happier. The worst thing is Crystal and Andrian are dating too. I don’t even like to see their face today.
” Hey, guys. You aren’t on time but anyway, don’t stand in the crowd,” Dylan told us as he wrapped his hands over Pearl’s shoulder.
“Prom is waiting for us,” Ryder told and I kissed him once before making my way inside the school. We all found a perfect spot to talk in between all the other students. Pearl, Dylan, Jacob, all are standing in the same place as Ryder and I joined them and then I caught a glimpse of Jason next to them.
” Hey, Milly. You are here,” He greeted me as I came closer to hug him.
” And you are so beautiful in this blue dress,” he whispered in my ears.
” And you are too charming in this suit. You are gonna be the prom king for sure.” I said.
” Let’s see if that happens,” He laughed and turned towards Ryder. They are cool now and became friends too. I hope their friendship gets stronger.
” Hey, What’s up, Mr. Nerd?” Ryder greeted him.
” You aren’t going to drop that word, Mr. Experienced prisoner,” Jason replied to him but the words aren’t going to affect them since it’s all in the past.
” Drop those stupid small talks. Get all your drink,” Dylan interrupted and gave us all a glass of whiskey.
” These two years had been an amazing year of our lives. I hope we all meet each other no matter how far go away to study in college. So, what can we cheer for?” Dylan asked, waiting for a response. Pearl was distracted at that moment.
” Aren’t you gonna say, anything baby?” Dylan specifically asked her.
” Um?? well?? we should cheer for all our strong friendship but before somebody’s face spoiled my mood. So, I will be cheering for sabotaging Crystal’s vote. Who’s with me?” She asked us. She’s happy with Dylan but all the things Crystal did in these years got a bad impression on her. Now, she’s getting votes for Prom Queen.
” I’m with you, Pearl,” I almost raised my glass. But I’m just kidding. This isn’t a day for revenge. It’s all over for good.
” Are you serious, sweetheart? If yes, tell me what should I do. I will decrease her votes so she won’t win.” Ryder said, teaming up with me.
” Whoa, you both are more like crime partners than lovers. We aren’t going to waste our time sabotaging anyone.” Jacob said.
” Hey, I’m just kidding. I don’t get time to do that. I would rather spend time with Ryder and you guys. Let’s all cheer for our friendship. Are you okay with that, Pearl?”
” Yeah, sure. In some ways, you are right, Em. I have Dylan with me so I don’t want any revenge. By the way, she’s not that popular. She would lose for sure.” Pearl said as we all laughed. I hope nobody hears us other than us.
” Okay. Let’s say it at the same time,” I announced.
” CHEERS TO OUR FRIENDSHIP,” We six, shouted as loud as we can and brought all our glasses together. After all, this won’t be the best day of my life. It’s one of the best days of my life and more are yet to come.
