Only after closer inspection do I believe Shirley’s handwriting is similar to Ryan Campbell’s handwriting. Maybe I haven’t seen enough men’s handwriting, but I think all forms of trendy calligraphy looks the same.
I studied until after school, when it began to rain again. I didn’t bring my umbrella because the weather was fine in the morning, and Ryan Campbell wouldn’t allow me carry it.
Ryan Campbell had called and said he was at the rear door, but it was still a long distance from the library. He offered to come in and pick me up, but I was flustered and refused.
It is expected that as soon as he reaches the school, he would be regarded as a star by the students. Even if they don’t recognize him as Ryan Campbell, they will most likely notice his attractive features.
I’m scared that if someone discovers his identify and investigates his relationship, my future days at school will be tense.
So I requested that Shirley Hunt accompany me to the rear entrance.
I just told Shirley Hunt about my wedding and pregnancy, and this girl isn’t the gossip type. She never told anyone about my secret.
I just mentioned that I was married, but not who I married. Shirley Hunt did not ask any questions, but sometimes she would ask, “Is your husband coming to pick you up?”
“… well.”
“It’s fine. In reality, I’d like to marry as well, but there haven’t been any boys to date. I’m not sure how to reach them, and I’m not sure when I’ll be as lucky as you.”
“Getting married too soon is a bad idea. I’d like to continue playing for a few more years before getting married. Even if you find a boyfriend, don’t rush into marriage.”
After all, men are creatures with low credibility, and Jimmy Davis is the best example.
But I can understand Shirley Hunt’s state of mind. Even if Shirley’s family is now quite happy, the lack of security she experienced as a youngster can never be replaced.
I used to consider getting married sooner since it would mean having a family and a safe harbor to fall back on.
However, after that, the only person who can be relied on is oneself.
No one, whether relatives, friends, or lovers, can guarantee to guard you for a lifetime, so I no longer expect anybody to support me for a day, and instead want to rely on myself so that I am not frightened of losing and failing to adjust to the brutal existence.
Ryan Campbell sat in the car, watching me stand beneath the eaves opposite to say farewell .
“New acquaintances?”
I glanced at him before nodding.
“Is she dependable?”
“More dependable than you!”
“After all, you have a terrible taste and usually find some untrustworthy pals,” Ryan Campbell said as he started the car slowly.
“Tonight is I have a business party. Just follow me.”
