The past weeks went by with Daniella and her very ‘crazy’ idea of getting rid of Audriana. She had intentionally missed calls and not replied to any of her messages because of how infuriated she felt, due to how happy and close the couple had been with each other after the stunt she pulled on them.
She had always wondered why she didn’t just end things once and for all so that she wouldn’t have to go through this stress and heartache she was feeling… if that’s the appropriate word to call it.
It was driving her crazy and she hated that she can’t do anything about it in the meantime… she needed her next steps to be clean and go exactly as planned, so staying low now till it happens was the best at the moment.
After all, she has a really handsome man at her call and beck. So till she can claim what she thinks his hers’.
For Audriana and Dimitri, it was amazing and great.
He took her on numerous dates where they were able to get to know more things about themselves, he would sometimes offer to cook them dinner which she never obliged to because she had to admit to a point that he cooks better than her.
“I love the fried rice you made that day,” he said one time and she was glad she was able to prepare him that dish again but it couldn’t be compared to how great his dishes turn out whenever he takes charge of the kitchen.
She wasn’t complaining since he always offered to do so almost every time.
It was like a ritual for them both… breakfast was prepared by any one of them who woke up first, lunch was spent individually or maybe they both agreed to go somewhere for lunch, and dinner was made mostly by him. Willingly.
Seeing her happy expression when he made something for them gives him joy so that was why he made sure not to overwork himself in the office so that he wouldn’t be too tired to cook for them both.
He hadn’t realized how much he enjoyed cooking till she made him learn to let go and not let the past control how his life would turn out. He had dropped some things he had an interest in for a long time and when they had that vacation and he was able to let out some things to her.
He felt like he was light-weighted, happier than ever, most of his past interests were rekindled and he loved that she opened that side of him that he thought would never come out.
Although, he hadn’t fully gotten over all that happened in the past but know that with time, it wouldn’t hurt like it always did.
… “You need to tell her about Daniella” …
He could hear Aiden’s voice ring in his head from when they spoke last and let out a sigh because he really wants to tell her but didn’t know the exact moment to do so and was kind of scared as to how her reactions would be when he finally let the cat out of the bag.
‘You wouldn’t know if you don’t tell her now’ his mind replied to him and he groaned at that.
She might be sad when he tells her and she had been looking so happy these weeks so he didn’t want to spoil anything for her or be the reason she is sad or angry.
He had been the source of her sadness and annoyance for a long time and now that she is satisfied and happy with him, he didn’t want anything to ruin it for them.
‘She took him to tell her about his past flings well so this cant is so bad, right?’ he asked himself but got no response to it.
Maybe because she wasn’t too concerned about any of the women and didn’t want to have any business with them since they were his past. Daniella was his past too so there can’t be a difference between them. He thought to himself.
It could be because Audriana knew Daniella from a trip she took and maybe liked her company but when she realized there was more to Daniella being just a ‘family friend’ considering how they all reacted when they saw her at that get-together.
That could be why telling her about his and Daniella’s past would be a challenge for him.
… ‘She must not hear from an outsider, it has to be you who would talk to her about it and explain everything… I trust her, she would understand if you can explain properly” …
Aiden told him too and he agreed to that. If Sofia had not told her yet how close those girls are, then it was his place to say something about it to her and she had asked about it in the past but he brushed it off before they became this close to each other.
He needed to tell her as soon as possible and before anyone can do so.
“Dimitri?” just like he was taken away from his daze, he shook his head and looked at Audriana who had worry written on her face and her hand placed on his as her other hand twirled the spaghetti on her plate.
He managed to smile even though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. She noticed, the furrow on her brows deepened and she dropped the fork then put her second hand on his before rubbing them comfortingly.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
He watched her for some seconds before nodding his head and looking down at his untouched food.
“Yeah, I am Love” was his reply.
She wasn’t convinced and decided to press further.
“Are you sure? You look like you were in deep thought and would exhale loudly with that worried look on your face, are you sure you are fine? You could share if it’s too much burden to carry” she smiled and took his hand in hers and placed a kiss on his palm before resting her head there.
Maybe now isn’t the time to say anything to her. He didn’t want to see how hurt she might look when he tells her and promised himself to pick a perfect moment to open up that part of his life to her.
He shook his head and smiled, this time his eyes were smiling more than his lips and he brought her hand closer to place a kiss there.
“I am fine Love, everything is good,” he said and she raised her brows for assurance and he nod in assurance.
“Okay, I believe you,” she said and he looked down then they continued eating and talking about anything.

“So what are you going to now?” Sawyer asked from the other end of the call.
“What I know how to do best, make sure to keep what is mine as mine.” She answered him and he chuckled then let out a cough before clearing his throat.
“I really can’t believe you are still hung on this Lorenzo boy, I doubt he wants anything to do with you after the stunt you pulled the last time,” he told her and chuckled again.
“He will forgive me, it was a mistake and I wasn’t in my right state of mind so that is understandable”
“To you, you think because you understand things certain ways, definitely people must understand it your way” he sighed then continued.
“You need to be checked again or probably go back to the mental hospital you managed to get yourself out of” he laughed and she felt offended because he was right about everything that she didn’t want to admit to.
“Don’t use that on me” she warned as she tried to keep her cool.
“Don’t use such tone on me, I wonder what that dumb red-haired boy see in you… you are crazy and trouble but crazier than trouble and the combination is a disaster. Your whole life is”
“If you hadn’t come to mum’s life then things would have been better.” she countered and he snickered.
“You were a bad seed, you just needed the right guidance to be misled and that was when I came in, didn’t I fulfill that to you already? Don’t be an ungrateful young lady” he let out another sigh and she so wished he was right in front of her so she could give him a taste of his own medicine.
Show him how misled she was and all the crazy things that sometimes get through her head.
“Whatever I do or how my life turns out to be is none of your business and I would really appreciate it if you can stick to just doing the jobs I call you for and not poke your nose into my affairs,” she told him not being able to keep it cool.
“Whatever you say, princess,” he said sarcastically “Everything is ready for when you will need them to be arranged and set… as always, your wish is my command” he chuckled after saying the last part.
Not being able to take the mockery anymore, she disconnects the call and stare blankly at her phone before her eyes went to the sleeping red-haired man that pleases her every single time.
“I need to act fast” she wrapped the robe tighter on her body and then stood up so that she can get prepared to start her first move in a long time.
