I hated witnessing her exploit my uncle.

Alice shook her head and waved her hands frantically.
“I… lived a rough life after leaving Jeric. I hung on for the baby. I want to give birth to him and nurture him,”
After a startled pause, Alice stutters. She was pallid.

Daina had me take Bruce, 3, for a stroll.
Since I can’t gain any information from Alice, I’ll ask Bruce.
Daina winked.
I’ve shopped with them and carried all their bags without a problem.
Daina and Bruce’s interactions were entertaining.
The child was hesitant and nervous at first, but soon warmed up to her.
Daina bought him lollipops, toys, and cakes. I paid the bills and carried their shopping bags.
My future children with Daina would be fantastic, right?
“Are you interested in fatherhood? Daina is gorgeous, therefore your children will be beautiful. Have a kid with her as soon as feasible.”

I can’t get her pregnant before marriage since we’re not married.
I wanted a kid with Daina, but that made me want to marry her quickly.
We brought Bruce to an amusement park after shopping.
Daina held the youngster as I rode the merry-go-round.
Daina eventually started implementing her strategy.

Daina offered the youngster a lollipop.

Bruce nodded and eyed the lollipop. Daina gave him a lollipop and spoke with him before shifting the subject.
“How did Bruce and his mom live before? She raised you alone, right? ”
“No, it wasn’t that bad. We had a wonderful life. Mom took me to theRoselily Pack. The Alpha and the werewolves there were kind to us. But after a time, Mom started sobbing a lot. I don’t know why. Then one day, she left and brought me here to the Moonlight Pack.”
Bruce covered his lips as though understanding what he’d spoken.
Daina scowled.
“Mom told me not to tell anybody why.
Bruce rubbed his head and sucked a lollipop.
Bruce refused to answer Daina’s questions after that.
What was Alice’s secret?
POV: Daina
Despite his comfort, I couldn’t get any valuable information from him.
I didn’t anticipate a 3-year-old to be so cautious.
When we returned to the Moonlight Pack, Bruce went to Alice’s room.
“Alice! We had a terrific time. Stephen Buther and I love Bruce.”
I ruffled Bruce’s hair and grinned.
“Alice, raising Bruce alone must’ve been terrible. Which pack did you reside in?”
“First, we travelled to Grey Mountain, where we met a doctor who cured my condition. Then, I brought Bruce to the Moonlight Pack, and we’ve been here ever since.”
Alice’s voice and expression were calm.
“You’re a fantastic mother and you’ve raised Bruce well. You’re strong-willed, too. It’s no surprise my uncle fell for you.”
“Thanks, Daina. I’m not as powerful as you,”
Alice acted humble.
We went back to our room.
I started talking about Alice with Stephan Buther as soon as the door closed.
Bruce stated they used to reside in theRoselily Pack, but Alice said they’ve been in the Moonlight Pack for a long.
My chin was scraped.
“I can sense he’s holding a secret from Alice. No matter how I begged, Bruce wouldn’t discuss their history. I suspect Alice is hiding something.”
“I agree. There is something fishy about Alice. Don’t worry. I’ll help. I’ll send my attendants to theRoselily Pack to investigate a she-wolf named Alice. And if Alice did live there, I’ll have them find out everything they can about her stay there. But theRoselily Pack is far. The investigation may take some time.”
POV: Rona
While I was pregnant and staying at Oku’s house, I thought of Stephan Buther.
Whenever I thought about the past, I hated Daina.
Without her, Stephan Buther would’ve loved me.
No matter what I did, he was smitten with that chick.
Because I loved Stephan Buther, I couldn’t harm him.
Oku invited me to coffee with him to get rid of Stephan Buther and Daina, but I hadn’t decided.
I sat by the window and touched my stomach.
Sunlight from the window made my eyes squint with joy.
Oku arrived and gave me photographs.

It showed Eden’s bleeding body after being shot.
His bloody corpse was on the ground.
I furiously grabbed another picture.
Stephan Buther and Daina were seen publicly embracing.

In a frenzy, I ripped the images.

Oku pats his chest to halt his breathing.

“Rona, where did Elizabeth go? We must discover and murder her to hurt Stephan.”
“He’s left Elizabeth with his trusted subordinates. I don’t know where she is.”
“Never worry. Before they return, I’ll send my men to keep a watch on them at the Moonlight Pack. Even if they escape death and come home, there will be opportunities to murder them.

I took a warm bath to sleep early after Daina’s tests.
