Almond’s POV:
Almond:
I took the party to a barren mountain east of the Moonlight Pack.
I’d attempted to reach Teddy throughout the years but never succeeded.
After first contact, I lost him.
My minions searched this mountain for Teddy, but they came back empty-handed.
I knew Teddy hadn’t contacted me, but I didn’t know why.
I’m trying one final time to find him on this mountain. I wanted to learn his location.
“Elder Almond, why does Elder Teddy live so far away?”
Daina inquired as we traveled the mountain trail.
Teddy feared Eden would kill him once he became Alpha, so he escaped to the mountain and has been hidden ever since.
Daina said, “Why would Eden want to murder Elder Teddy? Did he provoke him?”
“I don’t know. If I had to guess, I’d think it had something to do with Teddy’s prophesy. Teddy once said that you were a jinx and that everyone who approached you would experience misfortune. I don’t believe the prophecy myself, but many people do.”
Talking, we reached the mountain village.
All the locals lived in tiny log houses, like I expected.
We searched around for Teddy but only spotted a 10-year-old girl .
I said, “Kid, come here,”
“Does a werewolf called Teddy live in this village?”
The girl’s eyes brightened up .
“You want to know about an ancient werewolf called Teddy? I’ve never heard that name before. There is only one elderly werewolf in this hamlet, but his name is Pandra, not Teddy. Pandra is a dreadful crazy. No one dares approach him. Don’t go there. He can’t be the one you’re looking for.”
I inquired where Pandra, an ancient werewolf, lived.
The girl shrugged and led us.
POV: Daina
I wanted to question Teddy about the prophesy.
We located Pandra’s log home thanks to a weird youngster.
I hoped Pandra and Teddy were the same person.
The log cabin’s scene astonished me when we arrived.
A crazed grey-haired werewolf was cackling in the front yard.
This crazy old guy couldn’t be Moonlight Pack elder Teddy.
Almond gasped and smiled as I groaned.
I didn’t believe Teddy would still be around, Daina.
Almond patted Edgarrey’s shoulder.
“Teddy, it’s you! How have you been? After not hearing from you for a while, I believed you’d left the mountain.”
“Teddy? Who’s Teddy? I’m Pandra. Who are you? I don’t know!”
The ancient werewolf’s visage transformed as he heard “Teddy.”
He hopped up and down, sobbing and shrieking in horror.
Almond shook his head and moaned.
“Daina, I’ve known Teddy for years. I’m sure this is him. But I don’t know how he got up like this. Maybe something awful occurred to him and drove him nuts.”
Teddy’s eyes were empty and dead when I looked at him.
Dull and repetitive, he was boring.
“I’m not Teddy. I’m Pandra. You mistook me. Don’t murder me…”
Teddy was probably hunted by Eden, so he hid in this mountain.
He must have gone wild escaping.
Teddy may have been acting crazy to protect himself.
We could only find out by bringing him back and having a doctor examine him.
Elder Almond, can we take Elder Teddy back with us? If he’s furious, we must treat him first. Only after he recovers can we question him about the past.
Almond and Tannu have both earned my confidence.
Almond liked my idea.
I smiled and entered Teddy’s log cottage.
A damaged wooden cabinet contained a precious treasure.
It was old, but that wasn’t what drew me in.
My father’s item astonished me.
As a youngster, I regularly saw this calligraphy in my father’s room. If memory serves, it was the object he valued most.
I carried the calligraphy with me, planning to ask Teddy why he had it once he recovered.
Why did Teddy have my dad’s stuff? How had the Moonlight Pack changed after my absence? We brought Teddy down the mountain and found a hotel.
With Teddy, it was difficult to find a motel.
If Eder discovered us, the repercussions would be unthinkable.
“Daina, why don’t you all stay at a villa I own? I seldom use it, and few people know it’s in my name.
“We’ll move in today. Please find a doctor for Elder Teddy.
Could I acquire any relevant knowledge from muddleheaded Teddy? Would he tell even if he knew the truth?
Dason’s POV:
Almond and Tannu went home, and we went to Teddy with Almond.
Almond gave Teddy a separate room and summoned a doctor since he was mentally disturbed.
We needed him to heal quickly.
Daina had been depressed for days.
I was concerned about her, so I visited her.
I entered her room to find her seated on the bed, lost in meditation.
I took Daina’s hand and said, “What’s wrong?”You seem upset. Have you spoken to Mr. Stephen Buther?”
Daina said “no” dejectedly.
“Is that why you’re so sad? Mr. Stephan Buther is probably alright. He’s just busy. Don’t worry,”
I stroked Daina’s shoulder to comfort her.
“However busy he is, he won’t neglect me,”
Daina exclaimed.
“We love one other so deeply. How could he be out of touch with me for so long? I can’t escape the sensation that something important is going to happen. What if Stephan Buther is in trouble? I want to know the truth as soon as possible so I can come to his side.
“I understand your concern, but Mr. Stephan Buther is a Rosryal with numerous guards. He can’t be in danger,”
Then I embrace Daina.
“Don’t overthink it. You’re probably missing him.”
No matter what I said, Daina leaned on me.
“Daina, don’t worry. Tomorrow, Allen and I can go back to the Rosryal palace . Since you still have work to do here, we’ll go there on your behalf and let Mr. Stephan Buther know how much you miss him. Don’t worry. We’ll come back with good news about how he’s safe and sound, so you can finally relax,”
Daina’s eyes brightened up as she smiled at.
I’m delighted I could help Daina.
After saying goodnight, I went to my room.
I wasn’t acquainted with the villa’s layout since we’d just moved in.
I continued along the hall, confused, until entering a room on the right that seemed familiar.
