Maria and Eden calling me a jinx made me pause. They seemed confident.
Only by proving my innocence could I revenge my parents.
Oku stoked the flames. He wasn’t giving up easy.
How to establish my innocence? I understood there was just one way after some thought.
I needed to discover a Moonlight Pack elder with the talent of prophecy.
Oku asked Stephan Buther how to prove my innocence.
Oku mocked, “Are you the strongest trainee? With your expertise, it shouldn’t be hard to unearth the truth, right?”
“I’ll await excellent news.”
He’s irritating. This wicked man made my life tough.
Oku continued, ” I have a suggestion. Why don’t you go back to the Moonlight Pack and find the werewolves who know the truth? They might be able to prove your innocence. Of course, if it turns out that you are a jinx, please leave Stephan Buther on your own. As long as you are not a jinx, you can rest assured that I will not try to separate you and Stephan Buther.”
Since he told me to return to the Moonlight Pack, I expected a trap.
To establish my innocence, I must return to the Moonlight Pack for clues.
I returned to the Moonlight Pack to settle all the difficulties and be with Stephan Buther.
I agreed to Oku’s offer despite his unpleasant sneer.
“Mr. Buther, I’ll personally research the situation. Please give me time. I’ll find out the truth as quickly as possible and show to everyone that I’m qualified to be his mate.”
Oku nodded and said sarcastically.”We’re eagerly awaiting”
Stephan Buther grabbed my hand and said, “Daina, you don’t have to go back there.”
I had to return to the Moonlight Pack for myself and my folks. I wanted to return to Moonlight to learn the truth.
I whispered to Stephan Buther, “Trust me; I won’t put myself in risk.”
“I’ll know the truth when I return to Moonlight Pack.”
“Daina, I trust you,” Stephan Buther said.
Eden and Maria ruined the dinner.
Many visitors avoided me after hearing I was a jinx.
Banquet ended badly.
Maria approached me after dinner.
She was astonished by Stephan Buther and my closeness.
“Daina, you’ve seduced Mr. Stephan Buther, right? You should thank your face.”
“You are extremely lucky. Mr. Stephen Buther loves you so much. Even after knowing that you are a jinx, he isn’t frightened to be near to you. I bless you.”
Eder nodded, “Maria’s correct.”
Maria’s sarcasm was subtler than his.
“Daina, when it occurred, you were a kid. I was afraid that as a jinx, you wouldn’t be able to marry in the future. It’s excellent that Mr. Stephan Buther adores you, and I wish you both happiness. But I hope your bad luck won’t disrupt the Rosryal family’s good fortune,” I sneered.
When Maria opened her lips to add insult to injury, I smacked her across the face.
Maria’s lovely face had a crimson palm print when the boom resonated through the hall.
Her anger-reddened eyes.
Seeing her weep and pound her foot made me happy.
Maria yelled, “How could you hit me?” and moved forward to fight.
“Because of my identity,” I said, grasping her wrist.
She fell awkwardly as I shrugged her off.
“I’m still Mr. Stephen Buther’s friend. What gives you the right to shout at me? If you do it again, I’ll make you pay the true price for insulting me.”
“Daina!”
As Maria struggled to get up, she gazed at me with passion, as if she wanted to skin me alive. But I knew that here, in front of everyone, she wouldn’t dare.
She surrendered.
Oku went over with a sly smirk.
I admire Miss Smith’s strength.
He groaned and patted my shoulder, but I avoided it.
He dropped his hand again, smiling.
“Good luck! I hope you and Stephan Buther have a happy ending. I wish I could assist you, but the Rosryal family won’t let this go until you show you’re not a jinx,” Oku said.
“Thank you, Mr. Stephan Buther,” I snorted but smiled.
Once the truth is disclosed, it will erase the elders’ suspicions. I trust in my own power.
I looked at Stephan Buther after pronouncing those words boldly. My rock.
Stephan Buther said to Oku, holding my hand, “Daina will be my wife. When she returns with good news, I hope you can uphold your vow and bless us.”
Oku massaged his nose and wished me luck before leaving with his lycans.
Stephan Buther clasped my hand, and I felt invigorated and ready to tackle any obstacle.
I wanted to know what occurred so I could seek justice for my parents and marry Stephan Buther.
I wished everything good.
Rona’s POV:
That bitch, Daina, was going.
Finally! Oku successfully encouraged her to travel to the Moonlight Pack to discover the truth.
Surely, he would be able to manage her once she was seperated from Stephan Buther.
As long as she never came back, I would be content.
Stephan Buther would finally be mine.
Although I really wish Daina dead, I have to appear to be kind to her.
After the meal, I went to her and offered my sympathies.
“Daina, in my eyes, you’re still Stephan Buther’s mate. It makes me sad to watch you be misunderstood.”
“Rona, I recall that you were so afraid during the dinner that you didn’t even dare to approach me,” she added.
“I know, I’m very sorry. I was confused and didn’t know what to believe until now. Please forgive me. I know you’re not a jinx.” I tried to seem as serious as possible.
Daina smiled and said nothing.
“Mom, Stephan Buther, Daina, I’m going now.” I waved at them and exited the arena.
But honestly, I went to Oku.
I wish to discuss his idea to cope with Daina. I discovered Oku sitting on a couch, a cigar squeezed between his fingers.
He seemed cynical and triumphant at the same time.
“Oku, how are you going to deal with Daina?”
Oku took a big pull on his cigar and grinned.
“I urged Daina to go back to the Moonlight Pack to separate her from Stephan Buther. Without Stephan Buther, she would be powerless. Killing her will be a piece of cake.”
“Awesome!” I cried, clapping my hands excitedly.
“With Daina out of the picture, I’ll finally have the opportunity to be with Stephan Buther. Don’t worry. I won’t allow him seize your reign.”
“Rona, does collaborating with me make you feel good? Together, we succeeded to stop Daina and Stephan Buther from announcing their marriage. have Let’s some wine to celebrate our accomplishment.”
Oku poured a glass and offered it to me. I grabbed the drink gratefully and sat next to him.
After two glasses of wine, Oku felt restless.
He dragged me to sit on his knee, and fondle my chest.
