I stumbled to the castle wall and climbed it despite the agony.
I barely made it over and fell.
“Allen!” I stopped.
Dason? Unbelievable!
“Are you hurt?”He helped me up.
“Quit!”
“Let’s discuss later,” Dason scowled.
Dason changed before I could answer.
He lifted me and sped away from the Rosryal castle. Dason hung me from a tree.
I panted on its trunk.
I inquired, “Are you tired?”
Dason hadn’t become human yet.
I admired his wolf shape.
His fur glistened in the moonlight.
Dason nagged, “We’re mates. We’re one. We shouldn’t behave individually.”
“Allen, I’m powerful. Don’t treat me like a kid. From now on, we must advance and retreat together. Do you understand?”
“Okay, Dason,” I cried or laughed.
“I’ll assist you, but it’ll hurt.”
Dason scrutinized me.
I nodded as she cleaned my wound.
I saw her anxiety in the moonlight.
Dason gasped and fell into tears when Allen said, “Does it hurt? Please be cautious next time.”
Dason, it’s okay. Don’t weep.
Dason sobbed after healing my injuries.
“Allen, I was terrified I’d lose you.”
“I’m fine.”
Dason pouted, looking eagerly at me.
“Can’t you tell I’m sad? Kiss me!”
I paused.
I couldn’t help but hug and kiss him.
We had a wonderful moonlight kiss.
Stephen Buther’s POV:
My mum vanished days ago.
I’d dispatched numerous guards to find her, but Allen finally found a clue.
Since she was sick and needed medication, they sent it to where she was held.
I could locate my mum if I took the drug.
Why hadn’t Oku made a straightforward threat after taking my mother for so long?
Daina thought, “He probably wants to frame me for her disappearance.”
“Since that didn’t work, he’ll undoubtedly find another method to get you to give in. We must ”
My attendant raced in to tell me that Oku had come before I could declare I’d seek for my mum myself.
Finally, Oku arrived.
Now that he knew I was alive, he may jeopardize my mother’s safety.
Daina tells ted, “Stephan Buther, delay for time. I’ll rescue your mother.”
Oku would know if I left the palace now.
If he moved my mother, she’d be harder to rescue.
I should pretend I don’t know where my mother is to delay Oku. After saving my mother, I could handle him.
I nodded to Daina.
“But don’t go straight soon. Hide here and listen to what Oku says.”
“Okay.”
Daina hid as instructed.
Oku entered alone after sending the Rosryal servants away.
Oku sat on the couch and crossed his legs as he entered the living room.
Now that it was just me and him, he stopped pretending to care.
“Oku, what can I do for you?” I said.
My crossed hands became fists. Even though my mother was in his clutches, I pretended to respect him.
I couldn’t show my feelings.
Oku fiddled with his ring and said, “I came here to offer you a chance to rescue your mother. Don’t you want to?”
He respected my mother in public but was a beast in private.
I kept cool and hid my feelings. I couldn’t become angry with him till then.
Oku stopped being subtle since he couldn’t provoke me.
“Whether she lives or dies is up to you.”
“Why?” I questioned.
He seemed determined.
“Give up your claim to the throne and never compete with me,” he said.
He went so far because he feared I’d challenge him for the king.
I intended to topple him, but I couldn’t put my mother or my mate in risk.
Oku knew my vulnerabilities.
I said quietly, “I’ll think about it.”
Oku’s eyes widened at my words. He didn’t think I’d give up that quickly.
He assumed everyone would want the throne like him.
Seeing that he was comfortable, I said, “How is she?”
Oku video-called on his phone.
He mumbled something before giving me the phone.
The footage of my mum broke my heart.
She was held in a tiny, dark room with four walls. The room had nothing but a bed, not even basics.
She seemed weak and had closed eyelids. Seeing my mother’s situation made me roar.
Oku returned his phone and stepped up.
“Don’t worry. simply She’s locked up. sleeping She’s now. I know she’s not well, so she’s getting all the medication and physicians she needs. I won’t allow her suffer .”
Furious, I clenched my fists.
I’ll make Oku pay for his actions eventually.
I will announce the elders’ meeting tomorrow. I hope you can make the proper decision before then. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee your mother’s safety.
Oku put his phone aside and placed a hand on my shoulder, looking at me earnestly.
I bled from my fingernails as I watched him go.
Daina embraced me.
I calmed down in her arms.
Yes. When I saw my mother in the video call just now, I heard waves in the background. possible It’s she’s being kept near the sea. Oku needs to send exclusively supplied medicine to stabilize her condition every day. Doctors are also being provided for her. As long as we follow these clues, we can save her.
Daina nodded.
“I’ll take as many people as possible. I’m confident I can rescue your mother. But you must attempt to buy time for tomorrow’s meeting. If I leave now, it shouldn’t be too late.”
“Daina, be cautious,” I cautioned her.
Despite my formidable guards, I worried about Daina.
Daina smiled reassuringly.
POV: Daina
I took Stephan Buther’s guards out at night to look for physicians and Rosryal attendants.
We looked for every hint and place.
If I couldn’t locate Elizabeth quickly, he’d have to sign away his claim to the kingdom.
We spotted a van delivering physicians and medication about midnight along the southern sea.
we located Elizabeth’s location. She was island-bound.
We came by private jet in the morning.
We found Elizabeth’s captivity, but Oku put placed several guards and traps.
I raced in with Stephan Buther’s guards out of time.
I told the others to wait outside until the right opportunity.
I prayed while battling Oku’s guards.
“Stephan Buther, delay until I bring your mother back.”
