Third person’s point of view.
WIZARDRY FOREST.
The Alpha of Black-Knight opened his eyes and looked around frantically, he was wondering how he ended up in this forest.
His eyes landed on a man who’s standing a few feet away from him, with his (the man) back facing him.
“You’re awake” the man stated.
“Who are you?” the Alpha asked.
The man turned around and the Alpha flinched back in fear, he squinted his eyes when realized the man’s wearing a very hideous mask.
“You don’t have to know who I am, all you should know is, I’m your savior” the mask man said.
The Alpha gulped, he rose to his feet and dust off the dusts on his pants.
“Then why did you save me? There must be a reason, right?” he asked.
“It’s obviously because I need your help and you can’t help me while you’re in prison”
The Alpha laughed at the man’s words, he shook his head and sighed.
“If you’re looking for help, then you’ve found the wrong person because I can’t help you at the moment”
“Oh, you think so?”
“I know so, I don’t have a pack anymore and whatever you want me to do can’t be done by me alone, am I right?”
The mask man took a few steps closer to the alpha, he placed a hand on his right shoulder and tapped it gently.
“That’s why I’ll give you another pack, just follow my instructions, that’s all you have to do”

Arabella’s point of view.
(Outside the meeting hall)
According to Renee’s suggestion, I went to the meeting hall, but stood outside and first listened to their conversation -well, this is called eavesdropping though.
“Your highness” someone whispered in my ear as he tapped my shoulder.
I jumped slightly and turned around, only to Edward standing behind me. He raised his left brow at me.
“What are you doing here, your highness?” he asked.
“Er….” I coughed lightly to clear my throat. “I came to join the meeting”
His eyebrows furrowed a little bit, tilted his head and looked at the closed doors, then back to me.
“But it didn’t seem like you came to join the meeting, what you’re doing is eavesdropping” he stated.
I blinked my eyes innocently as I thought of what to say.
“No, I wasn’t eavesdropping, I’m listening to details” I paused shortly. “I can’t just barge in without knowing the current situation”
“Hm, sounds reasonable” he agreed. “I should go in then” he said.
He proceeded to go in, but my eyes caught a file in his hand and I quickly pulled him back.
“What?” he asked.
“That” I pointed at the file. “What’s that?”
He raised the file.
“His Majesty sent me to secretly investigate what actually happened and this is a few clues I’ve found” he explained.
I nodded thoughtfully and smiled, this is my chance.
“How about you give me the file and I’ll take it from here?” I asked.
“Huh? But… ”
“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna take credit for it” I assured him.
But a quick second thought hit me and I shook my head.
“You know what, nevermind, just go in” I told him.
He smiled and nodded, then rushed in, while I continued my eavesdropping.
“… we would like to know if you renewed the spell recently?” One of the elders asked.
Hm, this elder’s got nerves, how dare he question his King?
Or is this what Renee meant when she said Wymond answers to his subjects? But isn’t this tone of questioning his King rude? Who dares question their King in such manner?.
“Yes, I did yesterday before leaving the palace” I heard Wymond answer the elder’s question in a tired tone.
“You left the palace?” the elder scoffed. “Now it’s very obvious why there was a flaw in your spell” he said with a hint of rudeness.
What?
Now this is total disrespect towards his King, he didn’t even bother to hide his rudeness this time. But why the hell is Wymond tolerating someone like him?
“Marshall, what are you talking about? Does the King have to report to you before leaving the palace?” Another elder queried him.
“No, he doesn’t, but I think His Majesty is neglecting his duties since he’s found his mate”
Really? Why do I have a feeling that this man isn’t a good man? Like, what gave him the boldness to speak with all authority?
If this elder Marshall is behind what happened, then there’s someone behind him and that person must be very powerful.
“How dare you, Marshall? Do you know what you’re saying can get you killed?” An old, rusty voice like that of the seer asked -but I know it’s not the seer that spoke just now.
But the so-called Marshall doesn’t wanna give up, you know what they say; you wouldn’t even hear your own voice when death’s knocking on the door -Marshall obviously have a death wish.
“His Majesty knows exactly what I’m saying, since he found his mate, he’s been neglecting his duties and having too much fun and intimate with her” he paused. “We should get ride of that whöre or she’s gonna bring our King down…”
Intimate time? What does our intimate time have to do with this? Why isn’t anyone suspecting him?
He’s clearly dropping hints of how guilty he is and none of them seemed to notice it, his words are so betraying him right now -he’s trying to divert everyone’s attention from him.
It’s time I see the face of that motherfuçker who’s opposing my mate, I pushed the doors open and stormed into the hall.
All eyes fell on me, but my eyes only locked gaze with Wymond’s and his eyes seemed to be questioning me, like; what are you doing here?
I tilted my head and also gave him a silent response; to help solve this case.
His stance was as though he’s about pouncing on that elder Marshall; fuçk, I came in at the wrong time, I should have waited a few minutes longer and let Wymond beat this elder Marshall to pulp.
The elders got up immediately and bowed respectfully at me, well, except one elder who was grumpily glaring at me.
He must be the snitch -Marshall.
“Your highness” the elders greeted me.
A smile spread on my face as I wowed, I wouldn’t have eavesdropped had I known I’d be so well received here.
