“I will let you organize the meeting for our investors in Thailand,” dad said while arranging his things. “You will travel to meet them.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you. Diana is pregnant. It’s supposed to be her, but since she can’t travel I will let you handle this. I don’t want to take a risk for my first grandchild. Why, don’t you want?” I was secretly shaken. So I am the second option. Not bad, I’m used to it so there’s nothing new.
“I’ll handle it, dad. When am I leaving?”
“Next month.”
“Fine,”
“We have to finish everything. Dale’s wedding is coming and Wallace already asks us that once Diana delivers he will marry your sister.”
“I’ll take care of it.”

It’s only been three months and Dale will marry the same month as Dane’s due date. Dale’s wedding should be next year but Wallace wants to marry Dane before his daughter gets one year old.
He already spoke with the family without Dane’s knowledge. He also doesn’t want them to get married now because he doesn’t want to lead Dane. As of now he still doesn’t tell her that it’s his daughter she’s carrying.
Dale’s said that it can be the same year but mommy doesn’t want it. Wallace also doesn’t want a double wedding because he wants my sister’s solo moment. He wants my sister to be special that day. And because daddy didn’t want to extend Dale’s marriage for another year, they decided this year to unite Del Fuego and Dy.
Dale’s marriage is all about business.
“Is there anything you need, dad?”
“For business no, but between you and Dylan, yes.”
“What about me and Dylan?”
“I noticed this past few months that you and Dylan are not in good. I’ve been used to the problem you have since you were teenagers while you were so close when you were kids. But it looks like you have another issue now. Is this about Lileth, again?” I silently clench my fist because of daddy’s question.
“What made you think that this is all about my wife, dad?”
“Don’t make yourself a fool, we all know the answer and we are not talking about anyone but Lileth. Dylan’s ex —- ”
“Yes and no, dad.” I cut him. “Lileth and I just didn’t get along because I want to have a family but she still doesn’t want to, and Dylan thought that I hurt her because of what you said regarding the rumor.”
“Is that issue still undone?”
“I don’t know how and where it’s started.”
“You have to find the sources, that’s not a joke.”
“I will.”
“And please, never mess with your brother cause we all know you never win. I don’t want your mommy to have problems with you. Fight all your sibling but not Dylan because you will never win with him, and you know that.”
“Yes, dad.”
“Dismissed, you can go.”
“Thanks, dad.”
When I got out of the office I was just punched in the wall out of annoyance. Good thing that no one is there. Everything is just interfering with me. I’m the only one who’s wrong while they don’t know the bottom line.

I WAS just outside the house when I saw a car. The car was unfamiliar to me so I quickly got off. Who is here and what does he need? Couldn’t my wife have a guest while I’m away?
“Who’s here?” I asked the maid.
“Ma’am Lileth’s siblings.” Siblings? My forehead frowned and quickly entered.
“Are they still there?”
“Just arrived.” I nod and immediately enter. I caught up with them in the living room but Lileth was not there.

“How are you, Dave?”
“Hi!” I give them a smile. “Where’s Lileth?”
“It hasn’t come out yet.” It’s Erika, Isabelle and Wallace’s friend, and her brother Terence. Lileth’s step-siblings. Lileth grew up in an orphanage but her mother took her when she got married. But her stepdad died and her mother took care of them. I don’t know exactly about their backgrounds because I don’t interfere with them. All I know is that they are not close and I don’t why and I don’t care.
Terence is my classmate but we are not close. And Erika ——
“I’ll go check with her.” Erika smiles at me while Terence nods. When I entered the room I saw Lileth just lying on the bed. No interest came out.
“Your sibling is outside and yet you’re here, laying like no one is waiting for you.”
“They are not my siblings.”
“Your mother just died and you rejected your family?”
“Those two are not my family even though my mommy is still alive. There is nothing in our blood.”
“You know what, you’re so arrogant.” But she didn’t answer me and she just leaned over. “They are waiting for you outside.”
“Me or you?”
“What?” But she was even more confined to the blanket. “Aren’t you really coming out?” She didn’t speak and just moved her foot as if nothing had happened. I approached her and removed the blanket. “Get up and face them.”
“Then you go out. You want to face the two of them, don’t you?”
“What’s wrong with you? They came here to visit you. Go and talk to them.”
“You don’t understand?” She gets up and then shows the bruises. “All right, then I’ll show them my bruises, do you want?”
“What?”
“Don’t force me to face them. Just beat me when they leave.” He took the blanket from my hand and then lay down again and wrapped the body. I did nothing but let her lay down. I can’t drag him just to go out and face them.
I decided to go outside and face them. I’ll just make excuses because of that woman’s attitude. She really loves being always hurt. I think she’s immune to beatings and wants it as a vitamin, so she always opposed it.
“I’m sorry Lileth is sick so she can’t come out,” I lied.
“Oh is that so? It’s okay, please let her know that we miss her. She also didn’t come during mama’s first death anniversary and until now we haven’t seen her,” Terrence said.
“I’ll tell her.”
“Dave.” Erika came closer to me almost very close.
“Erika,” Terrence scolded her.
“What?”
“You are too close to Dave.”
“Why? He’s my brother-in-law so there is no malice. ‘Isn’t it Dave?’
“Yeah,” I answered while staring at her.
“See.”
“I’ll go first, and I’ll just wait for you there. And Dave, please tell Lileth to heal soon.” Terence go. Erika and I left in the living room.
“Do you need anything else?” I asked Erika who smiled at me but instead of answering she brought her face close to mine and kissed me on the lips. I was no longer surprised at what she did. This isn’t the first time she’s done this to me. Even when Lileth and I were just lovers, she did it. And she had a reason to do it and I actually missed kissing her too. Lips to lips, saliva to saliva, because Lileth and I can’t do that but I just restrain myself.

I turn her and pinched her on the wall and massaged her boobs. I heard her gasps so I bury my head in her neck.
“Claim me, Dave, take me.” When she said that, I came to my senses. I pulled away and propped my head against the wall. “Dave, don’t hold yourself. I won’t bother you, just be my first.”
“This is wrong.” I turned my back on her but she held my hand.
“Dave, you were mine first.” I closed my eyes because of what she said. She’s right, she’s my first girlfriend but I never introduce her to my family so one from my side knows her but only Dylan.
What a small world at that time. I liked Lileth but she suddenly disappeared because her mom took her. I met Erika and I did not know that they are related. But we got confused and Lileth showed up so I didn’t go back to her because I had already flirted with Lileth and she answered me right away.

“But he’s my husband, Erika.” We glanced at the door where Lileth was standing. “If someone else owns it, let it go.”
“I’ll go.” Erika left and Lileth and I were left facing each other while staring.
When Erika left and Lileth re-entered the room. I immediately followed her and when I reached her I held her hand.
“I kiss your sister.”
“She’s not my sister.”
“Get angry.”

“I don’t want.” I pulled her, turn around, and pinned her to the wall. She didn’t fight back and just let me do what I was doing. I lifted her skirt and took off her underwear. With my foot, I lower it to the floor. I removed my shaft and enter her behind.

“Bitch” I left her. I don’t know how many hours she was in the bathroom and when she came out she’s already fixed herself.
Silently she lay down and put on a blanket. I sigh and just let her. I am tired of this fucking wrath. I’m tired of this fucking life.
