As would have been expected, Richard heard about all that had happened to Macy and the bomb thing from May and his brother.
He had asked people to investigate Macy’s and like his brother had said, she wasn’t liked by her family and the sole reason was Angela.
What Richard couldn’t understand was whether the family was full of idiots or what. Any sane person could see that all what was happening to Macy were a series of setups. But no one in the family cared.
Richard also wondered why he was so interested in the girl. He justified his actions by telling himself that Macy was Melvin’s friend and she wanted the other girl to be okay and happy for Mel’s sake.
It had been a week since he returned and Asher was done.
Antonio, the president of Dela Lucia, had been arrested on crimes of Human Rights and he had been taken to an international jail that was not disclosed to anyone for security reasons.
Richard needed to go back once again so as to make sure that General Jose became the president safely and that his life wasn’t in danger.
This time, it wasn’t an official visit. He went as a tourist because he didn’t want many people to know where he was. The only person he told about his whereabouts was his brother.
When he landed in the international airport of Dela Lucia at the capital. De La Paz, he didn’t go straight to a hotel.
He first took a taxi and went around the city ‘sight seeing’ as he told the driver.
Richard knew that if there were people who knew how the country was politically, it was these taxi drivers.
They knew the city and all the rumours around the way stay at home mothers knew their house.
From what Richard learnt, even though Antonio had been arrested, he had a few faithful minions.
His minions were threatening the electoral body to announce that the country still wanted Antonio as their president.
They even tried saying that all the evidence levied against Antonio was all fake and none of it was true.
Richard was half that he came because he knew that General Jose was too soft to deal with these people.
And the fact that he was running for presidency, he had to show that he was a man of moral integrity. He thus just kept quiet and kept campaigning.
But, one day after Richard arrived in Dela Lucia, General Jose’s motorcade was targeted by an assassin.
After the man who shot at them was arrested, he said that he just didn’t like Jose.
When they wanted to interrogate him further, he produced a pill and before those with him could snatch it from his hands, he had already swallowed it and he died twenty minutes after that incident.
Richard knew that he had to do what no one expected.
Thus, besides keeping an eye on General Jose, he was working with his brother.
On the day of the election after people had voted and the votes were being counted, Asher, who had also joined his brother in Dela Lucia and they were staying in a hotel near where the temporary tallying offices had been set up, was at work.
He had come to the city so as to be near the servers to make it easier to hack.
From what they could see, it was clear that general Jose was winning but the television stations were showing something different.
The televisions were broadcasting that Antonio was winning.
This is what Asher had to work on and intercept whoever it was who was feeding the media lies.
Once Asher was able to tap into that frequency that was being controlled by a man called Fernandez, he took over and she built a four layered firewall that they couldn’t crack.
He made sure that they watched as he changed everything.
He broadcast the real results and even Antonio’s men who were making sure that the truth wasn’t being shown to people didn’t know what to do.
When they realised that it was an external hacker who was controlling everything, they cut down power in the whole country.
By doing this, they made sure that people wouldn’t watch television and by the time the issue was resolved, Antonio would still be the president.
If Antonio won, the international court would be forced to suspend the case for a period of five years as Antonio ruled. This was because they couldn’t take down a president who had been elected by the people.
But what these people weren’t banking on was what happened next.
After a few hours and Richard and his younger brother made sure that all the cute had been tallied, Asher hacked into the government database that had information about its citizens.
This was made easier by the fact that most of the registered voters had left their phone numbers and emails with the body.
He also hacked into employment records that were in the tax offices and he got millions of emails and phone numbers.
He sent one text that went to the majority of people who were registered either at work or by the government.

Short and simple but the message was home.
Those who had made sure to steal the election were not lucky.
This was because everyone knew Antonio won and people were in the streets lifting their phones up celebrating the win.
People went around bringing down Antonio’s posters and anything that reminded them of him.
They called him all types of names from thief to murderer.
It was a great day in Dela Lucia as things were going to change.
Richard had done it and it was time for the both of them to go home.
As Richard and Asher were stealing an election, Melvin had been left at home with her grandparents and she was bored.
She bagged Cash asking to be taken to see Macy until her grandmother agreed.
Cash took two guards and went with them to the set where May told the Macy was because she was yet to shoot two more scenes for the day.
Since the bomb incident and Julia’s arrest, things had gotten better for Macy Gray because it seemed like Angela had learnt that she couldn’t make things difficult for Macy anymore. It was like there was a God watching over Macy because everything Angela planned backfired.
So, on this day, Cash arrives with Melvin and Macy was very happy to see her.
When people at the set saw a beautiful angel run to Macy calling her aunty and the hug and kisses Macy gave her, all of them were curious.
Who was she?
Could she be Macy’s love child?
But they doubted that she was Macy’s because she was very beautiful and she looked rich.
The shooting continued and Macy was done with the shooting and after changing so that they could have dinner with Melvin, Melvin requested to be taken to the washroom.
As expected, Macy decided to take her because May had gone to the garage to pick their car so that she could meet them at the hotel and Cash couldn’t go to the ladies washrooms.
So, Macy and Melvin went inside the washrooms and Mel was relieving herself, Macy was keeping guard outside.
After a while, two huge ladies came inside and Macy didn’t pay them attention as she continued waiting.
The women looked at Macy suspiciously and she was on alert. Something just told her that these weren’t good people.
“Mel baby, are you done?” Macy asked, pretending that she wasn’t looking at them but her eyes were trained on the two.
One pretended to be washing her hands while she also kept her eyes on Macy.
“Almost aunt,” Melvin answered from one of the small rooms and at that, one woman who was near Macy pounced on her.
The man was bulky and huge but Macy was small and thus very flexible.
When the woman thought that she would land a blow at Macy and render her immobile, Macy had moved.
Macy jumped, anchoring herself on the wall and landed a kick at the woman’s head and she went down with a groan.
If there was something Macy was good at, it was hitting someone on critical points on their body to render them paralysed for a while if they didn’t want to prolong the war.
Here, she didn’t want to fight in front of Mel and that was why she wanted to make a clean work of these two.
When the other woman saw that her partner was down, she also pounced on Macy with abandon.
“Never been taught to attack in anger?” Macy asked as she moved out of the way by sliding between the woman’s legs and then hitting the other woman’s calf.
She screamed a curse as she fell on one knee and Macy hit her shoulder blade from behind and they both felt a bone break.
Macy then very quickly opened the stall where Mel was done and she was straightening her small dress and Macy picked her without a word and ran out.
What she did not know was that there were others from where those two came from.
