“Are you crazy, Flynt? Who is she?” Park asked, pacing the side of the bed. “That’s why the people on the site said you applied for leave and then just disappeared?”
“I used up all my time off every month during this internship and did unpaid overtime the last few days after I got back from Dean’s place. I had to do this, Park, because that damn woman would continue to annoy Dean and could be dangerous for him.”
“Did you tell Dean about this?”
“No. I want to keep Dean away from all the trouble that has to do with Gray and his henchmen. Dean is already busy and tired of his residency and he shouldn’t have to bear this endless business of mine with Gray.”
“Flynt,” Park patted Flynt lightly on the shoulder. “This is none of your business with Gray, but this is the business of the Joaqin family.”
Flynt sighed. He had already seen Tia’s unpleasant behavior when the nurse approached him in the cafeteria while he was waiting for Dean to come home with him that night.
He was feeling a little disappointed in Dean, in fact, because unlike Peter who had emphatically rejected the attention and affection that the nurse named Sheryn had shown that night, so the nurse immediately realized that there was no chance for her to have Peter, Dean acted as if he want to keep Tia’s feeling because they are in the same team.
Flynt wanted to ask Dean to be more assertive, but then he realized, his attitude might irritate Dean because he felt he didn’t trust his boyfriend.
However, when Tia boldly spoke to him, Flynt immediately knew that Tia wasn’t really that interested in Dean, but that he had other goals.
Flynt immediately found out who she was, not through Tom or Lamar, because he knew they would immediately move to help, and that would probably spread to Dean and his family as well.
He paid an acquaintance to follow Tia and when he received a report that the nurse was in touch with a warden, then went to the prison where Gray was being held, he knew immediately that the nurse was dangerous.
He had disappeared on purpose, in order to convince Dean that their relationship would end, because then Dean would act natural and Tia would believe that her attempt to ruin his relationship with Dean was successful.
Flynt will step in and reverse Tia’s ploy while the evil woman plans her next maneuver. He knew that Tia was after him for Gray and only used Dean as bait.
He had to keep Tia away from Dean first for the safety of his lover. So that night he purposely waited for Tia in the cafeteria and pretended to bump into her by accident. Sure enough, Tia acted very quickly and tried to seduce him, saying a lot of bad things about Dean.
Flynt takes Tia to a small bar and gets her drunk, then takes her to the island in a small charter plane. When Park saw him enter the hotel, he had just arrived from the airport and Tia was still half awake. He tied Tia up and put her in the bathtub, then called Park.
“Then what are we going to do with the woman,” Park asked, pointing to the bathroom.
“Call Maxine first. He has a relative who is in charge of the city’s penitentiary and tell him to ask for an inspection because the person who linked Tia to Gray was one of the guards at the penitentiary,” said Flynt. “I will take Tia as a hostage. I’m sure Gray is currently panicking because his niece has disappeared.”
Park contacted Maxine via video call. Maxine was at the furthest site on the island so the signal was very poor and video calls were stuttering. Park finally sent a long message telling him the situation and twenty minutes later Maxine replied and said he would borrow a motorboat and come to the hotel soon.
They hear noises from the bathroom. Tia is trying to free herself from her bonds when Park and Flynt enter the bathroom. Her eyes were glaring at Flynt and he seemed to be trying to say something behind the cloth covering his mouth.
Flynt jerked the cloth in his mouth violently and Tia let out an angry scream. “Fuck, let me go, Flynt! You must be crazy, setting me up like this. I’m on your side, haven’t I told you many times that you’re Uncle Gray’s son and you should go back to him!”
Flynt laughed sarcastically. “You want me to gag your mouth again? Your uncle is crazy. He’s even proven time and time again that I’m not his son, but still insists.”
“To hell with all that medical effort, Flynt!” shouted Tia. “He believes you are his son, that’s all that matters!”
Flynt snorted and handed a duster over Tia’s mouth to Park. “Park, just gag that bullshit mouth again and take the pictures. I’ll send them to the jailer at the prison so he can show them to Gray.”
Park followed Flynt’s words. Meanwhile Flyny comes out to the hotel balcony and talks to his hired man to do guard around Dean and the rest of his friends. He knows that Gray not only has influence inside the prison, but there are still many people who are loyal to him outside, like Tia.
Park rushed out of the bathroom and walked over to Flynt. “Hey, Flynt, Lamar called me. How’s it going? I forgot that I told Lamar not to turn off the phone when you called me.”
“Just accept it. He’s your boyfriend.”
Park looked at Flynt. “Are you sure? What if Lamar is with Dean right now?”
“Last time I had my people check this morning, Dean wasn’t out of the apartment and Lam was in the office too.”
“You’re crazy, aren’t you, you even had someone else investigate your own lover and best friend?” Park said annoyed. “You didn’t even tell Max and me after you caught the bug that bothered you yourself!”
“I was just trying to protect you guys,” said Flynt quickly.
“Protect us, your ass! You don’t think the Fantastic Four’s name is trustworthy anymore, do you?”
Flynt sighed, then pointed to the phone in Park’s hand that kept ringing. Park walked back into the room and took the call.
After a while he silently walked behind Flynt and called into his phone. “This is it, Dean!”
Flynt turned around in surprise and saw Park’s phone in front of his face.
“Sorry, Flynt, but Dean has his acupuncture needles ready and will immobilize Lamar if you refuse to talk to him.”
Flynt stared at Park’s phone screen. Dean was looking at him with an icy stare.
Instantly Flynt knew, his biggest difficulty right now was not Gray and Tia, but the beautiful man who was staring at him on the phone screen.
“Hi-hi, Baby,” said Flynt with a big smile.
Click. The phone was turned off by Dean.
“You are dead, Flynt! So dead!” Said Park.
