“The director of personnel was replaced a month ago, due to a funding leak,” said Tom with a frown. “The new director of personnel is a man, his name is Mr. Jersen Doviro. Sheryn’s mother is Professor Fera McGee, the director of personnel has been replaced.”
“So the threat is completely useless,” said Peter angrily. “Dean told me that Tia was going to tell Dean to her mother and embarrass him and drag Trent and Flynt names down. That bitch!”
“Wait a minute,” Tom interrupted. “I think I’m starting to understand where this is all going. Look!”
Lamar stared at Tom’s computer screen and read carefully. His face became even more angry.
“What’s wrong, Lam? Tell me. I can’t see the writing on the screen,” said Peter.
“Peter, Tia is Mr. Gray’s niece. Her father–Mr. Gaisland and Gray are sibling. They shares same mother. Tia were briefly taken care of by Gray and his late wife, Sovi when she was kid. Mr. Gaisland and Mrs. Fera got divorces 3 years ago.”
“Oh God! So it’s not just Tia who is blindly in love with Dean and wants to have him? Tia is taking revenge for her uncle by hurting Dean, because she knows it will hurt Flynt too, or Theo for Gray.”
“Even from prison, Gray can still cause trouble to the Joaqin family,” Lamar growled angrily.
There was a knock on the door from outside.
Peter stood up from the sofa. “I’ll open it. It’s probably Mike and Kay.”
Peter walked to the door and opened it wide. Mike, Kay, and Dean stood in front of him, as did Sheryn, the nurse who had a crush on Peter.
Mike and Kay went in first, followed by Dean, but Peter blocked Sheryn. “Why are you here?”
“Pete, let him in. He has important information for us,” Kay said, gesturing for Peter to leave the door.
“How do we know she’s not going to hurt Dean? She’s the nurse bitch’s friend.” Peter persisted in not letting Sheryn in.
“It’s all right, Pete,” Dean said softly. “Sheryn has applied for a transfer to Kay’s father’s clinic and it has been approved by the new director of personnel, who turns out to be not Tia’s mother at all.” Peter finally relented and backed away from the door, letting Sheryn inside.
“Dean, how are you? Are you all right?” said Tom with a smile.
Dean nodded slowly. “I’m fine, just a little tired and not getting enough sleep.”
“So what’s really going on, Dean? I heard you pissed Mike and Kay off trying to stop Sheryn from talking about Tia.”
“I just meant to protect Sheryn. I’m afraid this problem will spread everywhere and make a lot of people hurt,” replied Dean.
“Nurse Tia is a psychopath,” Kay added irritably.
“We found some surprising facts about Tia,” said Lamar. “I think he’s still connected to Gray.”
“Gray?” asked Dean, Mike, and Kay in unison.
“How could that be?” Kay asked confused. He turned to Sheryn. “You know about this too?”
Sheryn shook her head in fright. “No. I don’t know who Gray is. Could it be, he is the person Tia visited in prison?”
“Please explain to us what you’ve known all along, nurse Sheryn,” said Peter impatiently.
Sheryn looked at Peter timidly. “I’m sorry to have upset you, Doctor Peter. I didn’t know you had a boyfriend and just asked Tia to introduce myself to you. I do like you, but I’m not someone who likes to ruin other people’s relationships.”
“Come on, don’t think about it anymore. I understand and I think Wyland isn’t angry anymore either. He’s really scary when he’s angry and jealous, so I don’t want to get into trouble with things like that. So just talk about Tia,” said Peter.
“I only got to know Tia after we were in the same nursing training. She said she liked a doctor and would go after him. However, then I realized that doctor Dean didn’t like Tia, he was just too nice to just refuse. That night when I met you guys, I immediately knew who doctor Dean’s lover was. He is the younger brother of Mr. Trent, the owner of the hospital. I tried to warn Tia about it, fearing she would get in trouble, but then I saw Tia talking to Mr. Flynt in the cafeteria while he was waiting Doctor Dean’s done.”
“Did you hear them?” asked Lamar.
Sheryn nodded. “Tia threatens to poison doctor Dean or do anything else she can because she works closely with doctor Dean, if Mr. Flynt doesn’t let go of doctor Dean. She says Mr. Flynt is making the life of brilliant doctor Dean difficult. Doctor Dean loves children- With him, it’s impossible for Doctor Dean to have a child of his own. Tia also says that Mr Flynt is selfish for making doctor Dean have useless life to be with him, even though he has many opportunities to live a normal life with his own wife and child.”
“Oh, my God, so many bad words,” Kay said sadly.
Lamar and Tom became gloomy.
“That’s why Flynt chose to leave Dean, because if it was for Dean’s happiness and interest, he could bear all the trouble and pain on his own,” said Tom.
“Just like when he was separated from his family to Brazil because of Gray’s interference,” Lamar muttered sadly. “He endured his longing and desire to be with his family because he knew what dangers would come from Gray if he stayed with them.”
“Stupid Flynt,” Dean cried softly. “At first I just thought that Tia really likes doctor Dean so she behaved like that. However, a few days later I overheard Tia calling someone and saying that crushing Flynt was so easy. Then, she went out with a guy and I skipped duty to follow her away. I was very surprised when I saw her go to the central prison,” continued Sheryn.
“Everything fits now. Tia approaches Dean to mess with Flynt, to avenge what happened to her uncle–Gray. Perhaps, his father also asked Tia to do it after his ex-wife–Tia’s mother was laid off from her job as operational director. They’ve probably been on good terms all this time, even they were divorces.” Tom said.
“I don’t care about that bitch nurse,” Dean said tearfully. “Now I’m worried about Flynt. Gray can do anything even if he’s in prison.”
Everyone realized the truth of Dean’s words. Suddenly Lamar’s phone rang.
“Hello, Park,” Lamar replied. It’s speaker mode. “Any news about Flynt?”
“Uhm, yes. I’m currently watching him walk into a hotel with… uh, uhm… a girl.”
Everyone gasped.
