Emily sits uncomfortably in front of him, his dark aura still growing butterflies in her stomach. She knew that she should not have come here in the first place but there was no place she could think of, Louis might use this opportunity to make her more vulnerable if she returned to him. Their eyes meet again and she looks away immediately, scared that he might scold her for looking.
“It’s been a long while, Emma, or should I say, Emily. You shouldn’t have lied to me when you knew that you’d be needing my help later,” he growled.
He enjoys teasing her, it makes her look like a lost puppy whenever he teases her.
“Stefan, I … I…”
“Hush now, young one,” Stefan stops her from saying anything further.
He has been accommodating Emily for almost a week now but every day seems like the first day she stepped into his house with her drenched clothes and open body. Stefan had fought the urge to f**k her hard, he needed her as a weapon to use against Louis.
Emily is still scared of him, living alone with a bachelor is not a good idea but who would have accepted her in her condition?
“I want to thank you again for keeping me with you…”
“Do you know how many times I resist the urge to pin you down and make love to you?”
“What?”
“I’m just kidding. I’m only scared because I’m harboring a criminal in my home, what if I’m caught?”
“I’m not a criminal! I was accused wrongly!” Emily tries to defend herself.
“Oh ho! I love it when you act feisty, makes you look more cute,” Stefan chuckles.
Emily gets up and goes to the kitchen, deciding to prepare breakfast to distract her from his torturous tease. Stefan has always been one weird man to Emily and staying alone with him has always become much more worse.
Stefan follows her inside the kitchen and grabs her waist roughly, Emily screams lightly.
“Are you out of your mind, Stefan?” Emily scolds him.
“Yes, I’m crazy for you,” Stefan laughs.
Emily sighed, she had made him swear that he would never hurt her but maybe it wouldn’t be enough. She will never be herself if he takes her innocence with force, it will be a life-traumatizing experience for her.
How did she meet with him again?
**Flashback**
Emily was dropped at the last location with her bags on the floor. The weather did not help matters, the rain soon began to pour as it fought with her earlier. She was soaked with water and her clothes now clung to her body like a magnetic force.
Then a red chevron came up, parking in front of her. The glass winded down and she saw Stefan, the man she had met at the festival earlier. He looks at her with the most pitiable eyes.
“Do you need a ride?” he asked her.
“Yes, unfortunately, I do not have a location.”
“Wanna spend some time at my place first until you decide where to go to?”
Emily thought about it for a while, she shouldn’t trust this man at all but if she declined she might die out here. She can’t become a rogue because of this and she couldn’t possibly live in her wolf form for long, so she made up her mind to follow him.
“If you don’t mind,” she accepted.
In his car, Emily was uncomfortable, The dark aura still emanated from him, and she wondered why.
“I remember your name, Emma right?”
“No, yes… I mean..” Emily halts, realizing that she must have made a terrible mistake in lying about her name the first time.
He suddenly stopped the car, scaring the hell out of Emily.
“I know why you are here, Emily…”
She gasped, surprised that he knew her real name.
Stefan continued, “You were exiled from your cousin’s pack.”
“So you mean that you came here on purpose?” Emily asked if it was obvious that the man had malicious intent.
“Yes, you can stay with me until your cousin is ready to have you back.”
“How are you sure that he’ll want me to come back?”
Stefan laughed out loud, then curved his lips to a smirk that Emily would say was an evil one.
“I’ll convince him, Emily. He’ll beg for your return and your forgiveness for believing those lies.”
“Hold on, you believe that I’m innocent,” Emily asked.
“Of course you are, no fragile heart like yours would hurt anyone.”
Emily relaxed a bit, this man acted weird but she had no choice, she would wait for him to convince Jax that she was innocent then she’d go back to Moon Bearers pack.
**Flashback ends**
Emily looks at Stefan as he eats his breakfast, maybe staying with him is not the best idea anymore. She has to do something about it on short notice, so Emily decides to escape from his house. She knows her way around and how to make it out of there so once Stefan is asleep, she’ll make a run for it.
“What are you thinking about so deeply?” Stefan asks, jerking her out of her thoughts.
“Nothing, are you enjoying your breakfast?” Emily smiles sweetly at him.
“Yes, Emily. Thank you for your support, it means a lot to me,” Stefan replies.
Emily nods and goes about the other chores. After all for the day, she waits for Stefan to be done with his dinner and night game. Immediately he enters his room, and Emily sets the timer on. At exactly thirty minutes later, heavy snores could be heard from his room – he was now asleep. She tiptoes down to the kitchen and grabs some food first, she’ll be heading to Crescent Moon pack and tell Louis about her condition. She did not use the front door, it usually makes a cranky sound when you open it. The back door was the one option she had left, closing the door quietly, Emily ran as fast as her legs could carry her through the pathway that leads to the main road. She plans to hail a car and ride with whoever is in it, her wolf form will die if she uses that energy to run.
A car is fast approaching, Emily confirms first that it’s not the same car that Stefan uses. Once convinced, she stands at the side of the road and makes a stop sign for the car. It stops right in front of her and she enters immediately.
“Please, please, I need your help! there’s a crazy man that wants to kill me and I need to get out of here,” Emily cries.
“Is that so?” Stefan’s voice rings out.
Emily is stunned, “How come?”
