“I don’t understand. Why do you keep calling me Ivy Connor? I don’t even like that name!” I saw Mariam now, biting her nails. Yeah, it’s exactly what I wanted. They planned on separating me from my wife. I will debunk each one of their lies now.
“Mariam, do you want to talk, or should I talk?” I questioned her, and she immediately stood up from where she was sitting and made an attempt to flee, “Woman, you won’t get very far with that attitude! While he took care of Rick Connor’s daughter, he left his own daughter to do everything on her own. Stupid man. While Ivy sat on the ground sobbing, I shifted my attention to her. Robert Jones almost cried. He took care of Ivy like she was his own child and did everything for her, but now he is being told that Ivy was never his from the start. The man knew that his wife and Rick had something going. How did it happen? Robert looked at his wife, looking for answers. How is he going to face his daughter now, the daughter he neglected? He had been using his daughter as a business tool. The man’s eyes welled up with tears as he reflected on the way he had neglected his own flesh and blood while lavishing attention on a child who was not his own offspring.
“Mariam! Explain this. What is Lord Archer talking about? ” Mariam started trembling and shaking her head at the same time as she realized her secret has been discovered. “I said, explain, woman!” Robert Jones yelled.

“Shut up!” Robert sounded hostile toward the girl as if he had never seen her before. He had forgotten that this was the girl who had been calling him “daddy” for 28 years. But Zion wasn’t done with them after that. Then he spoke.
“Robert, I just bought your company for $1 and this house is mine as payback for what you did to my wife and the lies you told about my aunt. You and your dishonest family have one week to vacate my properties before further legal action will be taken against you. Aaah, you only have one choice if you want this life if you want these luxuries. Apologies to Lady Archer, as for you,” Zion poked Ivy with his index finger. “An eye for an eye. Because of your lies, I almost lost my wife, and she almost lost our baby. So, I’m going to show everyone in the country your sex video with your brother.” Zion got up and turned to look at Robert Jones. “How much do you think you’ve spent on my wife?” Robert couldn’t tell him because the man hadn’t even given her any money. Maya had to work to pay for school. He didn’t even try to buy her designer clothes unless he wanted her to impress his business partners. Robert’s eyes filled with tears as he thought about that. Zion sneered at the man as he glanced at him. “I’ll compensate you with one hundred billion for bringing her up. She turned out to be the best thing in my life, and you’re going to cut off all kinds of communication with her. She won’t be a Jones anymore; instead, she will be an Archer.” After saying that, Zion left.
The gaping hole in Robert’s mouth did not close. Lord Archer put a price tag of 100 billion on his daughter. The man broke into tears immediately. Maya’s husband put a price tag like that on her head, which he had never done before. He thought Maya was worthless, but yet 100 billion was put on her head. He didn’t know why Zion loved his daughter so much when he didn’t see what she was worth. He felt a lot of regrets as he looked at the woman who had lied to him for so long. Then he looked at the girl he had gone out of his way to get ready for Lord Archer. Robert started to laugh at his pathetic self.
