~Zion’s POV~
“Kelly, if I’m not mistaken, you and your friend were just about to go, right?” She cocked her head to the side and fixed Kelly with a menacing gaze.
“Right!” Kelly answered. After she had gone with her friend, my wife stood there staring at me as she observed the astonished expression on my face. I could tell that Maya was on the verge of bursting out of her skin. It appeared as though she was harboring a grudge. I really hope that I haven’t gotten myself into any trouble.
“Take me home.”
“Yes, Ma’am,” I said,
When an old flame of mine strolled into the restaurant, my wife and I were on the verge of leaving.
“What on earth is this harried woman doing in this place, babe?” Claire said that while staring at Kelly, and she walked up to me and kissed me. I drove her away with a push on her back.
“What are you doing?” I was completely dumbfounded. I was completely at a loss for words, and I didn’t even know what to say to my wife. She looked at me as if I’d suddenly developed a pair of balls in between my eyes. She then turned and went away. “Maya, wait!” I rushed after her, but she continued walking.
“Take me home.” She informed Lucas.
“Maya, please let me explain.” She then entered the vehicle while maintaining her murderous glare at me. As I step into the car, the first thing on my mind is to explain that my relationship with Claire was merely a fling. However, Maya got out of the car and began walking away from the scene. “Babe, I know that was wrong, but she kissed me. You witnessed that, right?”
“I will not ride in that vehicle with you, Zion. It’s either you drive home while I walk or vice versa.” She said, weeping. I don’t even know where to begin. What the fuck am I going to do? Shit!
“Baby, Lord Archer, I don’t understand why you just left me there all by myself.” At this point, she was starting to get on my nerves.
“Shut up, shut the fuck up if you know what’s best for you!” I barked. She regarded me with astonishment.
“Baby, it’s been three months since we last spoke, and you haven’t even bothered to give me a call,” she said.
To put it bluntly, I despise women who are overly clingy. It is why I don’t make promises to bitches. She was a call girl, but now she is clingy. Even the fact that she knew Kelly was a complete surprise to me. Why do I always get the clingy ones? I gazed at her in disgust. I sure fucking want to smack her, but I don’t hit women. How lucky can she be? I promised my wife forever and now. How did I explain that? What is wrong with me? In front of my wife, I allowed another woman to kiss me. I took off my phone, wanting to call Lucas to ask someone to bring a car for me. But then I looked over and saw Javier and his wife Gabriella leaving the restaurant that was directly across the street from where I was dining. I dragged my ass to them.
“Hey, you look like trash!”
“Mr. Hills, you can’t use such language while with me,” Gabriella warned.
“Yes, Ma’am,” Javier responded.
I came so close to shedding a tear. Their relationship has not lost any of its sweetness. It is similar to mine and Maya’s. I screwed up. Will my wife ever be able to forgive me for what I’ve done? Hell, I’ll kill anyone who might kiss my eye in front of me. Why did it have to be today? Javier snapped his fingers at me. I looked at him and brushed my hair back, not knowing where to start explaining my mistake.
“Wanna talk about it, Zion?”
Shit! Should I talk about my relationship with others? I have never been serious with anyone before in my life. I looked around and saw some people around. Gabriella seemed to notice that I was comfortable talking about it in public.
“Get in the car, honey, you drive.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Fuck, how I would love for my wife to order me around like that. This kind of relationship is what I want with my wife. Will Lady Archer leave me? We went inside the car. Javier was driving, and I was at the back with his wife, Gabriella.
“Where’s your car?”
“I was thrown out of the car.” Javier burst out laughing.
“What did you do, cousin?”
“My call girl kissed me in front of my wife.”
“You cheated on your wife, Archer?”
“I will never do that, Javier. I love my wife, man. I love Lady Archer with everything in me. I promised her forever, and I meant it, man. How can I cheat on a woman I have been searching for all these years? ”
“Wait, is she your mother’s best friend’s daughter? Is it the 16-year-old girl you told me about back then? ” I gave him a nod. “Damn, what happened? I just took her here to M-City for her dad to meet her. You know, Dad hasn’t been the same since mom’s death. So we made a deal that if I got Maya and married her, he would quit drinking. Since mom’s death, the man has never been the same again. I searched for Maya for years, and Grandpa thought I would not find her, so they arranged an engagement with Kelly Martins, the daughter of the Martins family, but I never liked that girl. So I refused, but they still went ahead and bought a ring and gave it to her on my behalf. So I had two call girls, nothing serious, just call girls till I found Maya. I took her out today, and we were at the restaurant opposite the one you were at. After ordering our food, I went to use the restroom. But when I came back, I walked into my wife’s furious face, and she seemed to have had an argument with Kelly and one of her friends. She was all drenched, and so were Kelly and her friend. But as Kelly left one of my calls girl, Claire rushed to me and kissed me in front of my wife. The thing is, I don’t know what transpired between her and Kelly. That made her lose her appetite, and now a bitch just kissed me in front of her. I’m worried because my wife is pregnant and she doesn’t need all this stress. That’s why I didn’t protest when she kicked me out.”
“I haven’t spoken to your wife before. She’s young, but she is wise. Give her time, she’ll come around. Emotions tend to rule a woman’s body when she is pregnant. Explain the situation when you see her relaxed. Don’t push the conversation. If she tries to ignore it, ignore it too. When she’s ready, she’ll ask you. ”
Wow, why does it look like Gabriella and Maya behave the same? I’ll get flowers for her. Ah, flowers again. It doesn’t matter, I will get the whole shop if that’s what it takes.
“Thank you, Gabriella.”
