Benjamin feels tired from walking within an hour. When he looked at Kristi, the lady looked like she was not exhausted like him. He smiled when he looked at her pretty face again.
Kristi stopped and glared at Benjamin for looking at her. She feels uncomfortable looking at her.
“Stop looking at me, Benjamin,” she said like it was a warning. Benjamin laughed.
“I can’t stop myself from looking at you, I’m sorry! I don’t know,” he felt embarrassed and looked away.
“Kristi, how old are you?” he asked. He is scared of the thought that he falls in love with a minor. He’s not a cradle snatcher!
“Why are you asking me, Benjamin? It’s up to me if I want to answer your question right?” she says while smirking. Benjamin can’t help but feel captivated by her way of talking. He likes how dominant Kristi is.
“Alright, maybe you’re eighteen?” he was hesitant and wished that he was wrong.
“No, I’m not eighteen Benjamin,” she simply answered.
“Miss Ice, what’s your house look like? you forgot to describe it, it’s been an hour since we were walking,” Benjamin saw her stunned by his question. Maybe she forgot about the description of her house.
“It’s a big house, it’s not a house, it’s a mansion. We have a gate and the letter imprint on it. The gate color is black and the color of the letter is gold,” she describes. Benjamin was shocked. He knows that house.
“The letter on your gate is your surname?” he added another question. Kristi nodded her head.
“Alright, I know where your house is now, Kristi,” he told her with full confidence.
Benjamin’s phone rang and he saw Antonio’s name on the caller.
“Wait, Miss Ice. Let me answer this first,” he says and goes far from Kristi. He wanted to curse so much he forgot that he needed to meet Antonio.
“Dude, where are you?” Antonio asked him. His voice was furious.
“Wait for me, dude I will be there within twenty minutes. I helped someone,” Benjamin sighed. He wanted to talk more with Kristi.
“F*ck dude, you wanted me to wait for you! Where are you? I called your mother and she said you aren’t home anymore,” Antonio exclaimed. The annoyance was evident in his voice.
Benjamin pursed his lips and he smiled when he saw Kristi watching his expression.
“Gotta go! Wait for me,” he plainly said and ended the call. The young lady looked at him using her cold eyes.
“Did I disturb you, Benjamin?” she asked. Benjamin shook his head and cursed Antonio on his head.
“Why did you ask me that question? I was the one who volunteered to help you,” he says. He started walking and Kristi followed him.
“Your house is near. I saw your house near my best friend’s house,” Benjamin said. He stopped walking and waited for Kristi to walk near him.
“So, your best friend is rich? I thought this place was exclusively for rich people,” she complimented but humiliated at the same time.
Benjamin smirked after hearing it. He likes how Kristi talks.
“Miss Ice, are you telling me that you’re rich?” he asked her. The young lady looked at him deeply.
“Did I tell you that I am rich? I said that this place was exclusive to rich people. So you’re rich Benjamin,” The young lady twisted his words.
Benjamin stopped himself and wore an amazing look on his face.
“I’m not rich, my father owns a small company,” he answered honestly.
“I’m not rich either. I went here for vacation, but I studied here when I was twelve,” she shared. She was comfortable with Benjamin.
“Maybe I know your school at that time,” he exclaimed. Kristi looked at him again and stopped in front of her house.
“This town has one school, right? Maybe we’re in the same school that time,” she sarcastically told him and because of that, Benjamin laughed at her.
“I love how sarcastic you are, Miss Ice,” he complimented making Kristi stop. She looked in his direction.
“I hope we won’t meet each other again,” she simply said. Benjamin’s eyes went wide.
“What do you mean?” he questions but sounds annoyed. After he helped her to find her house!
“I dislike talkative people, and how flirty you are,” she answered and pressed the doorbell.
Benjamin can’t believe what he heard from Kristi’s mouth. After he helped her, Kristi was not thankful for his help.

Benjamin went back to the current time, he was the one who wanted Kristi at first.
Kristi stopped sobbing when she saw Benjamin in front of her. His face was unhappy and he looked at her.
“Why are you crying, Kristi?” he questions her.
“Why are you calling his name? I’m your husband now, you said you love me but why Kristi? Why are you doing this?” He said,
“Benjamin, I don’t love Alessandro like the way I loved you. You don’t know anything, stop being a jealous young man,” she says making Benjamin’s eyes go wide.
“I’m not jealous! Why would I be jealous? I know in the end you will leave me again. I’m asking you, do you want to hurt me or humiliate me?” He asked again.
Kristi can’t believe Benjamin’s question, Alessandro protects her and risked his life for her.
“Stop it! I don’t want you to cry and keep mentioning his name! Do you hear me, Kristi?” He shouted. He grabbed a pair of clothes and went to the bathroom.
Kristi stopped herself from crying, she wanted to talk to Cassandra. After an hour, Benjamin went out to the bathroom and didn’t even look at her. She pursed her lips for how Benjamin treated her.
“Benjamin, do you still act like that if you know the truth?” she whispered.
Benjamin punches the steering wheel in frustration. He doesn’t know how to reach Kristi.
Daniel was right, after three years of not being together, she changed.
He decided to go to his company, and his secretary looked at him in surprise.
“What’s our schedule?” he asks,
“Sir Benjamin, Miss Catriona went here but you aren’t here. We have a meeting with the Golden Corporation,” his secretary told him. He nodded his head.
After an hour, Benjamin went to his meeting and he was happy that the Golden Corporation wanted to sign with him. He walked to the parking lot when a car rushed near him.
He found his body pushed by someone and he heard a loud bang like someone was run over.
The car went out fast and he saw Catriona lying on the floor. He rushed towards her and he saw she was unconscious.
“Catriona!” Benjamin shouted her name.
Kristi was in her office and sipping her coffee, she sighed. Her expression was hard to tell. She looked at her cell phone when it rang.
It’s an unregistered number, she answered. She heard a giggle on her cellphone. She pursed her lips, she knew it.
“Kristi, dear, how are you? I heard you successfully inherited the company,” The call was said, and laughed again.
“Do you think you’re strong enough to fight with me? Does Benjamin know everything?” The one on the call added.
“Kristi you aren’t strong enough, when you were a child you keep pleading with your mother to stop torturing you,”
“Let’s see if Benjamin will accept you when he finds out the truth,” The caller ended the call.
Kristi pursed her lips and wore a smirk on her face. She shook her head.
“You think that I am dumb? I recognize your voice bitch. You want war, I will give you that,” She murmurs, and her eyes go cold.
The caller used her mother’s voice but she knew it was not her mother.
The giggle sounds familiar in her ears and she knows that she heard it three years ago
