Out of the blue, Hendrix caught his arm, “What is the point of involving this mincing woman in men’s affair, it’s not interesting.”
“Or else I ask some obedient women to come here,” Hendrix took out his phone and searched for a few phone numbers.
Someone who was called Victor felt a sense of excitement instantly and did not care about Aubree anymore.
Aubree felt a sense of sourness and her eyes reddened. She sought for an opportunity to leave quickly but accidentally bumped into Hendrix.
Their sights met, she recalled his words.
He said she was mincing and not interesting.
Aubree felt awkward and thought of Kaitlyn and Halle whom she met two years ago. Their age was greater than hers as well as experience, they might have had sex with Sidney.
Then, she thought of Hendrix’s girlfriends. They were open, were such people called interesting?
Do men like that kind of women?
She bit her lips and shook her head. She ran until she reached the VIP area and stopped her steps.
She wanted to get her phone from her bag but she found that the logo on her bag hung a blinking stuff.
Aubree took the stuff in her hand and looked at it. It clearly stated ‘International Racing Champion Medal’.
She suddenly felt that the stuff was heavy, this was the medal that Hendrix just got…Why appeared in her hand?
What should she do? Aubree held the medal nervously, her first response was to run back and return it to him.
But Riley Harris saw her and ran towards her. Aubree was shocked, she put the medal inside her bag instinctively and pretended nothing happen.
She did not want anyone knew that Hendrix’s medal was in her hand or else she could not explain it clearly.
“I have been looking for you for a long time, let’s go.”
Aubree seemed to have done something wrong, her sight darted away. She walked while turned her head to see the place she was in just now and still thought about the medal.
On the way back home, she put her bag beside her instinctively in the car.
She was struggling whether to give Riley the medal and asked him to return it to Hendrix, but after thinking for a while, she did not want anyone to know it.
The car parked at the gate. Aubree still felt annoyed by the medal and simply said goodbye to Riley. Then, she entered her house.
“Have you come back? Send my luggage to Sidney’s room,” she heard Kaitlyn’s voice once she entered.
Aubree was angry. She changed her shoes and pushed the luggage involuntarily. Then, she realised that her bag was not with her.
Oh no! Her bag was in Riley’s car.
The medal was there…
“Why are you standing still?” Kaitlyn sat on the sofa like a hostess, Sidney was not there.
“Ms Marsh, I will do it for you, this is what I usually do,” Everly walked quickly towards her and got the luggage from Aubree, “I will do it.”
Kaitlyn sneered, looked at her fingertips leisurely and satirised, “Everly, you might have forgotten my identity.”
Everly smiled awkwardly and answered, “Ms Marsh, Ms Aubree has never done this kind of thing, there is no difference in whoever sends your luggage upstairs. I have to do my part as I am paid…”
Kaitlyn did not smile anymore, she put down her hand and looked at Everly with sharp sight. She did not say any words.
Kaitlyn knew that Sidney was taken good care by Everly since young, she carried an important position in Sidney’s heart. Kaitlyn did not dare to offend her.
Aubree did not listen to their conversation, she only knew that her bag was lost, luckily her phone was in her hand.
She called Riley immediately but he did not receive the call.
“Aubree, it’s ok if you don’t want to send the luggage but you have to respect me as you call Sidney uncle,” Kaitlyn thought of a way to fool her after seeing Everly walked upstairs.
Aubree just realised her words, “What?”
“Turn on the TV,” Kaitlyn instructed her.
Aubree walked around to search for the remote control. Then, she found that the remote control was just on the table in front of Kaitlyn, she could have got it by herself but she intentionally fooled her.
“The remote control is just in front of you, why do you want me to turn on for you?”
