“What’s the matter?” Josiah was getting to the room but stopped by Aubree. It made him lose some of patience.
Aubree saw his eyes to know something might be strange and said, “I am not tried. I would like to wait for Sidney in the living room.”
Josiah had a look at the living room on the third floor where almost nobody came at the time. As long as nobody was there, he could also make it.
He acted as normal and accepted Aubree’s idea, “Ok, up to you.”
Aubree sighed with relief and walked into the living room. She looked at the well-made tea wares and tried to touch one piece, yet her hand was blocked by Josiah’s hand.
He had a seat next to Aubree, with one hand on her waist and another hand on her legs.
Aubree was surprised by what Josiah was doing abruptly. She was so nervous, getting away from him by instinct.
She said, “Let me go!” Unluckily, Josiah held her tighter as she was fighting more.
“I’d love to grab anything or anyone belonging to Sidney Hudson. You are his girl; that’s why I brought you here.” Josiah took off his coat and started to be mean to Aubree.
He locked her arms with his own and tried to kiss her. As soon as his lips touched Aubree’s face, Josiah was kicked off by someone.
He was annoyed and stood up to fight back, “Who’s fucking doing it?”
Out of his expectation, it was Sidney who did it. Besides, there were also his own father as well as some other uncles of his family standing behind Sidney.
Josiah was worried about what to do in the situation; he had never imagined they would get to the third floor now. He called in a rush, “Daddy…Uncle…”
Aubree was also scared to look pale; she tried to hold her tears in eyes and pushed Josiah away to run to Sidney, “Uncle Sidney!”
Sidney cuddled her tightly; it was seen that he did his best to control his anger.
He was so suffering to see Aubree as what she was like now, only saying, “You are safe.”
Josiah’s father was humiliated by his son’s rude behavior, in rage to say, “Josiah, shame on you! How can you do it so dirty? See the well-done Sidney? What are you doing? Sidney is always more reliable than you. He knows it is quiet enough here without anybody disturbing, so inviting us to have a break. Finally, we met you here to do such thing to a girl! I am lucky enough to have you, my son!”
These uncles did not talk more, but had already changed their views about Josiah. They believed Josiah was a man of misbehavior.
As to his father, it was easy to understand why he got to be extremely angry. The shares and rights of Hudson Group were controlled by these respectful elders, without any absolute heir for now.
From the fact, his father could not ignore Josiah’s doing in front of them even if he was unwilling to blame him.
Josiah saw his father and uncles leaving here disappointedly, then having a look at Sidney holding Aubree now. Soon, he got to know all.
He was crazy, pointing to Sidney to yell, “Sidney Hudson, you set me up!”
Sidney pressed Aubree’s head on his own chest and covered her ears.
He watched Josiah with his sharp eyes and said, “You get what you deserve.”
He spoke in a low invoice that was piercing enough to shock Josiah.
Before Josiah talking more, Sidney would not like to stay here with Josiah any longer and carried Aubree in his arms to leave.
