Time flew, and in the blink of an eye, another four years had slipped away.
“Uncle Sidney! I’m going to be late for school! I’ve to go!”
Since Aubree started menstruating, Sidney hadn’t allowed her to live with him anymore.
However, it rained last night. At this time, she would still sleep with Sidney, and every time she slept with Sidney, she would sleep like a log, causing her to oversleep in the morning!
So today, she inevitably got up late!
She took her school uniform from Steward in haste, put it on, and then stepped out the door with her front foot.
“Stop, let’s eat first.”
Sidney called out to her.
“Uncle Sidney… I’m really going to be late…” Aubree was worried sick and somewhat aggrieved. She didn’t want to walk into the classroom during class, it was embarrassing…
Sidney let out a sigh softly and nodded, signaling that she could leave.
“Thank you, Uncle Sidney!” With a smile on her face, Aubree suddenly lifted her arm above her head, forming a heart-shaped sign. “I love you!”
Sidney was shocked and his delicate lip lines curled up slightly. Aubree had become more and more playful lately, and he really gave in to her.
He looked toward Steward. Steward understood quickly and packed breakfast for Aubree to eat in the car.
However, he was increasingly worried that Sidney would develop an indescribable feeling for Aubree, which would ruin the plan that they had been working so hard on and everything would fall apart by then.

In the school.
Aubree managed to enter the classroom before the bell rang. As soon as she stepped into the classroom, Hendrix took her bag from her and said, “Why are you in such a hurry again? You’re almost late.”
“I woke up late this morning!” Aubree stuck her tongue out at Hendrix.
Hendrix was a well-known gangster in their school. He had a good family background, looked physically attractive as well as had a steady stream of girlfriends. All of his girlfriends were even social women who had permed their hair, smoked and drank alcohol.
She would never cross paths with someone like Hendrix in the first place. However, two of them seemed to become comrades indescribably after a teacher asked Hendrix a difficult question and she, as a tablemate, couldn’t stand idly by and carefully prompted him once.
Since then, Hendrix had always initiated a talk with her and over time, he became one of Aubree’s rare friends in class.
As Aubree sat down in her seat, before the teacher came in, she heard a few women behind whispering and laughing at her.
“She’s almost late again. I think she must be exhausted from making out with a rich guy. I’ve heard my dad say that rich people nowadays like to support young women in exchange for s-e-x!”
This remark was greeted by everyone with shouts of laughter. The woman who said this was Pippa, the daughter of the Evans family. She had always been puffed up with pride and couldn’t stand that others were better than her.
Aubree was the biggest thorn in her flesh.
No one in this school knew Aubree’s real identity. Usually, Aubree came to school in an average car, and only occasionally was she seen getting out of a luxury minivan. Even though Pippa had asked her dad to look up Aubree’s information in private, she couldn’t get any results.
“Pippa, was that rich guy she had made out with yesterday your dad?” At these words, Pippa almost fell out with the speaker and got up to slap her!
“Shut up! My dad doesn’t give a shit about her!”
The woman who just said those words was frightened. She knew that her family’s status was far inferior to Pippa’s and that she might have to count on her in the future, so she immediately bowed her head and admitted her fault, hiding behind with resentment.
Aubree knew that the noises behind her were all about her, but she always stayed out of trouble and tried her best to be ignored at school because she was afraid of getting Uncle Sidney into trouble.
When she first met Sidney, he told her that she must keep her situation as a secret and not let anybody know her real identity, let alone who Uncle Sidney was.
“Hey! You talk so badly every day and I haven’t seen anybody paying attention to you. What’s so interesting about directing yourself?”
Just because Aubree bit her tongue didn’t mean that others would either.
Hendrix was the first one who couldn’t put up with Pippa’s mockery any longer. Sure enough, all the men in the class burst into laughter at Hendrix’s words, as if Pippa was really a joke.
“That’s right, just cut the crap! I don’t understand why you always take your anger out on other people!”
Aubree had a good personality and a good study. Besides, she was also recognized as the campus belle. Which man didn’t like her?
When Aubree heard Hendrix’s voice, she was embarrassed and a light shade of pink crept over her cheeks.
She tugged at his sleeve, stopping him from disputing with Pippa over this trivial matter.
“Today, I’m really going to vent my spleen!” Pippa flew into a rage from shame. It was well-known that she liked Hendrix, and yet Hendrix stood up for the woman she hated the most!
“Aubree Wilson! You’re such an eyesore, and I’ve been annoyed to see you for a long time!”
Aubree wanted to pour oil on troubled waters, but Pippa was reluctant to do so and she rushed directly to Aubree’s table. Before Aubree could see her clearly, she overturned Aubree’s table arrogantly and grabbed Aubree by the hair fiercely!
Aubree didn’t expect this to happen at all! Her mind, which had just been muddled, was instantly awakened by the tugging pain of her scalp!
It hurt so much!
“Let go!” When Hendrix saw this, he kicked off his table and stood up, putting his hands in his pockets with his face full of displeasure and ruthlessness.
Pippa was arrogant and domineering, but after all, she was afraid of Hendrix. She held back tears of frustration, shaking Aubree’s hair forcefully.
“Aubree Wilson, wait and see!” Pippa gritted her teeth and her dislike of Aubree doubled again!
Aubree had never suffered such a grievance. She wanted to fight back, but she couldn’t.
As tears welled up in her eyes, she said nothing and squatted down quietly to clean up the messy textbooks on the floor.
“Let me help you.” Hendrix came over to help raise Aubree’s overturned table. Aubree looked at him gratefully, and even though they were close friends, this was the first time she had taken a good look at Hendrix’s appearance. It seemed that this was when she realized Hendrix turned out to be good-looking.
“Hey, what’s up with the famous gangster falling in love with a nice girl? Isn’t that the plot of a trendy drama?” Those who were close to Hendrix began to hoot.
“Fuck you!” Hendrix grabbed a blackboard eraser and threw it at them!
Then he sneaked a glance at Aubree and he noticed that she was bowing her head deeply, and her blushing face was faintly visible through her long black hair.
