Chapter 145: Finale: Mom, Can You Make Me A Baby Brother?

Book:A Night With The Billionaire Published:2024-6-4

Jason said, “This is different. Our own child is different.”
Daisy pushed him away and stood up. “Well, don’t thank God, thank me. If I didn’t puncture all the condoms, do you think God could help you like this?”
Jason was stunned and then overjoyed, “Really?”
“Honestly… sometimes….” she stepped forward and went out the door. She was waiting for him to catch up.
After only a few seconds, he hugged her tightly. He was delighted, like a child at Christmas.
Jason is happy, but Daisy is full of trepidation. The doctor told them they were going to have twins!
During the second pregnancy check, the doctor told them that they were boy and girl twins. This realization scared Daisy somewhat. Jason was also scared, and he really wanted to thank God.
Daisy had no fear in other aspects, but in the mysterious field of childbirth, there are still deaths, even with new medical developments. She was unprecedentedly afraid.
The result of her fear was…
Penelope stood by the door, arms crossed, and looked at the suitcases in her own yard. She asked, “So, you’ve come to me for help?”
Daisy held her hand and asked, “Sister, does it hurt when having a baby?”
“Imagine breaking twelve pairs of ribs at once; wouldn’t that hurt?”
Daisy smirked and noticed Jason gesturing to her.
Penelope quickly reassured her, saying, “But every pregnant woman goes through it. Don’t worry.”
Daisy held her hand and said, “I want to spend the night with you and hear all about it.”
Later that evening, after a shower, Penelope saw Daisy doing yoga on a mat with her big belly. She smiled and said, “You can still do yoga? The long flight didn’t tire you out too much?”
Daisy replied, “I read that it helps with childbirth and widens the pelvis.”
Penelope sat cross-legged on the bed and said, “Don’t be too scared. There’s not much difference between having one child or two.”
Daisy asked, “Why were you willing to have a second child? Weren’t you afraid the first time?”
Penelope chuckled and said, “The happiness after giving birth makes up for the pain.”
“Happiness? From delivering a baby?”
There was a loud knock at the door. Chris stood there, holding a cute little girl’s hand.
“Mom… Mom…” The little girl walked in unsteadily.
Daisy’s eyes widened. “Is this baby Anne?”
Penelope smiled and picked her up. “Yes, this is baby Anne.”
Chris yawned and said, “Mom and Aunt, good night.”
He closed his eyes and went back to sleep.
“Good night, cool boy.” Daisy smiled.
“He’s just like his father, and this little one takes after me,” Penelope said with a smile.
Daisy leaned close to Anne and asked her, “Why aren’t you sleeping?”
Anne looked like a porcelain doll. Her hair was long and blond. Her eyes were big and innocent, like a full moon. Her chubby face had rosy cheeks that glowed.
Anne moved closer to Daisy and planted a kiss on her cheek. In her world, when she kissed adults, they usually smiled.
Sure enough, Daisy touched her cheek, and her eyes lit up. “It’s so soft…”
Anne lay in Penelope’s arms and waved her little hand. She said, “Sleep…” Then she closed her eyes.
“She’s incredibly adorable.” Daisy couldn’t help but adore her.
While patting Anne’s back, Penelope whispered, “Do you understand what I meant now?”
“Yes.”
If she could have beautiful and healthy babies like Anne, what else could she possibly worry about?
Penelope initially thought that Jason and Daisy would only stay for a short visit, not realizing they were planning to stay and deliver the babies here.
Despite being her sister, Penelope couldn’t help but lose her temper. The house suddenly felt too cramped with them there. “Do you really have to stay for so long?”
Jason said, “Chris, come here. Uncle bought new toys for you.”
“You’re wealthy. You can buy a new house in this area. No need to stay at our place!” Penelope tried to control her voice.
Daisy ignored her and said, “Baby Anne, can you show me your Barbie dolls?”
Penelope felt exhausted and leaned into Warren’s arms. “Honey, I’m tired enough to consider giving the kids away.”
Warren gazed at their two young children and nodded. “I feel the same way.”

On the day Daisy was giving birth, she asked the nurse to bring Penelope into the delivery room, where she was screaming. Jason looked at Penelope, who was invited to go in. He felt envious but also afraid to witness his babies’ birth.
Penelope had given birth twice before, but it was her first time watching someone else deliver babies.
“Sister, I’m going to die…” Daisy grabbed her hand, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Don’t say such things. You haven’t even delivered your babies yet, and you’re talking about dying?” Penelope’s way of comforting people was always unique and a bit unconventional.
“Oh, God, another push!” Daisy tightly held Penelope’s hands.
“… Ah!” Daisy screamed.
“Woo….” The first child was born.
“Look, your son is here.” Penelope was touched.
“Help me check his hands. Are there five fingers?” Daisy reached out weakly.
The nurse cleaned the baby and handed it to Penelope. She held him in her arms and introduced herself. “Baby, I’m your aunt.”
The doctor said, “There’s one more to go!”
Daisy looked at her son’s red and wrinkled face. She suddenly found strength, gritted her teeth, and gave birth to her first daughter.
In the waiting room, Jason nervously paced back and forth.
Chris convinced him to sit down beside him. He said, “My mom took a long time to have Anne. It’s okay for Aunt to take a little longer to deliver two babies.”
Jason patted his head and said, “Thanks. You’re pretty smart for your age!”
Six-year-old elementary school students shouldn’t be underestimated. Jason smiled and said, “Uncle loves you very much.”
“I know,” Chris said casually. He was aware that everyone liked him. Perhaps that was the challenge of being too good-looking.
Warren walked over with Anne in a pink dress. The door to the delivery room was open, and they peered inside.
Both Penelope and Daisy held a baby in their arms. Jason stepped in and hugged Daisy tightly. “Baby, thank you…”
“Are you trying to smother your daughter?” She pretended to be annoyed, completely forgetting how she cried in the delivery room.
Jason let go of her and looked at the tiny bundle. “She’s so small…”
Daisy smiled and placed the baby in his arms. “Hold your daughter, daddy.”
Chris tugged at Penelope’s shirt secretly. He glanced at the emotional parents and said, “Mom, they’re not paying attention. We could steal the little boy and take him home.”
Warren walked forward and asked, “Do you want a younger brother?”
“Yes, so he can play football with me,” Chris replied seriously as if he was ready to execute the ‘stealing baby’ plan.
“Anne can play with you, too,” Penelope added.
“Her? Mom, she’s a girl!” Chris snorted and glanced at his sister.
Warren finally said, “He’s your cousin. We can’t steal him.”
Chris thought about it and realized his father was right.
Penelope was proud that he acknowledged his mistake. “Good boy…”
“Mom, can you make me a baby brother?” Chris’s eyes lit up.
Penelope’s smile froze.
Warren hugged Penelope’s waist and said, “I like the word ‘twins,'” and he laughed.
Penelope exclaimed, “Get out!” while a faint smile played on her lips.
