Chapter 144: I Mad At You

Book:A Night With The Billionaire Published:2024-6-4

After Daisy and Jason got married, they lived in his big house. Ross could hardly bear the situation and moved out. He escaped from Daisy, but Daisy always loved to make trouble for him.
Finally, one day, Ross couldn’t bear it. He asked her directly, “What do you want me to do?! If you want revenge on Penelope, you have succeeded. Why do you always have to make trouble for me?!”
Daisy casually sat on his sofa with her legs crossed. She said, “You are a few years older than me. Have you ever thought about going into business for yourself? I remind you that I will get more property than you if something happens to your father. Are you willing to give it a go?”
“What can we do?” He sneered, feeling that Daisy was just showing off.
“I heard that your dad has a big project in Africa. Are you interested in joining it?” Daisy asked with a sly smile.
“Oh, you are ready to drive me away. The further, the better, right?”
“A man should be at least independent.” Daisy glanced at him and said, “You are not acting like a man or even a child of your father.”
Since his childhood, Ross was afraid of being compared to his father. He was not braver than him. He was not more capable than him either. This had always been his weakness. As Ross grew older, few people dared to say this to him directly. But today, the woman he hated most attacked his weakness.
“You…” He clenched his fists.
“You want to beat me? Come on.” This attitude was something Daisy was used to. She crossed her arms and was motionless.
There were too many reasons why Ross couldn’t beat her. She is Penelope’s sister, his father’s love, and she is a woman. However, she is cold and ambitious. Ross was torn away.
He finally put down his fists. He pointed at the door. “Get out.”
Daisy slowly got up and said, “You think about what I said. It’s not too late to change now. If you can’t even win me, you are hopeless.” Then she left.
“Young master…” The servant who had taken care of him since his childhood nudged his shoulder.
“Am I really such a mouse?” He was a little upset.
“Mrs. King is just kind to remind you.” The servant remarked.
“She is kind? She just wants to drive me out of this house. Then she can reign over everything from Dad’s!” Ross said resentfully.
“I don’t think she means that…”
“Forget it. I know what to do.”
The next day, Ross applied to work at the project site in Africa. Jason was puzzled.
‘Ross has always been lazy and carefree; why did he want to go to a place far away from mainstream life?’
But Jason still promised him a job. No matter what he thought, Ross should leave New York to see the outside world.
Ross thought that he would at least be a manager with his new identity. He didn’t expect that he was just an ordinary employee in Africa, with no special treatment!
He felt that Daisy fooled him. What could he do? It was he who said confidently in front of his father that he would go to work. If he went back like this, wouldn’t he be looked down upon?
‘Forget it. Just do it for a month. It’s not too late to change the course of my life.’ He didn’t expect he would stay there for three years.

In New York, Jason has been absent-minded since he got back from Penelope’s wedding. Sometimes, he would even stay inside for days on end. Daisy certainly knew what he was thinking about. He didn’t know how to hide his feelings in front of her.
Jason wanted a child, he and Daisy’s child. Since he saw Chris, his mood suddenly picked up.
However, Daisy loved her career just like when he was young. She only wanted to develop the business. Such a person is destined to succeed, and he has seen this very clearly.
So, he understood Daisy’s mood at this time. If she didn’t want to have a child, he would never force her. Daisy always gave him whatever he wanted, all she could give, and she never hesitated. But this time, Daisy needed a long-term plan and careful arrangement.
On Jason’s birthday, they had a candlelit dinner and then went home and watched a movie together. While he was fascinated with the movie, she snuck into the bedroom, took out all the condoms, and punctured them with a needle.
Since it was a surprise, she didn’t want to give him too much hope in advance. This was her plan.
Sure enough, when Daisy took the initiative to take out a condom and handed it to him, he was a bit sad because he truly wanted a baby.
Daisy chuckled and wrapped Jason’s body in hers. She was unafraid that he was not lured by her. She was his best potion, and he became excited right away.
That night, they had sex many times. From the bed to the study, from the sofa to the bathroom, Daisy was like a vampire, vowing to take his last drop of sperm.
Daisy thought she tried her best. If she did not get pregnant this time, they only would have to wait for one year.
Fortunately, it turned out that she was as easy to get pregnant as her sister. As she vomited in the toilet, Jason stood aside and worried about her health.
“Go to the hospital.”
She cleaned her mouth and looked up at herself in front of the mirror. She inwardly smiled. The doctor checked carefully and confirmed that she was pregnant.
Daisy marveled at all the changes of expression on his face. He finally looked horrified.
“My God, Jason, don’t you want this baby?” Daisy asked coldly.
Jason asked the doctor to step out. He kneeled down in front of Daisy and said nervously, “I didn’t know you would get pregnant. I used condoms every time. I am sorry.”
Daisy thought about how she had punctured all of them.
“Baby… I really want him. You… won’t abort him, okay?” He looked up and held her hands earnestly, like a pitiful wolf dog. The contrast was cute.
Would she make such an effort if she didn’t want this baby? Jason found that she didn’t talk. She looked at him with a “sneer.”
He was in a hurry. “If you deliver him, I can transfer all the shares that belong to me to his name.”
Daisy shook off Jason’s hand and leaned back.
“No…” He grabbed her hand again and shook his head.
Daisy said, “Don’t explain. I am mad at you.”
“Don’t be angry. It’s my entire fault.” He hugged her waist and buried his head in her arms. He said, “I really want a child, a baby who belongs to us. Maybe God heard me, so he made my dream come true.”
“Is Ross not your child?” Daisy asked.
“He is. I love him too.”
