Then she left on her high heels, removing all the sadness and despair.
Penelope still sat there and ordered a cheesecake.
Warren had been sitting in the car for a long time and had not waited for her to come out. He couldn’t help but worry that she couldn’t defeat Kathrine in words. She cried and dared not come out. Thinking of this, he hurriedly got out of the car.
Penelope felt a ball of cotton blocking her heart. Kathrine left this ball of cotton.
This woman was so malicious that even if she left the battlefield, she did not forget to put a knife in her heart.
Warren pushed the door open and saw her sitting alone there. Her back looked a little lonely.
“What’s wrong?” He reached out to touch her head.
Penelope pouted and looked back at him. “I am so sad.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know… I feel disturbed.” She had covered her heart with a feeling.
She had cut off the love of a woman; it felt evil. She didn’t know if one day someone would say the same thing to her, and then she would pretend, just like Katherine, and leave with sadness.
“She made you angry?” Warren asked.
“No. I made her angry.”
“Then she threatened you?”
“No.”
“Then she refused to give up?”
Penelope playfully beat his chest. “You’re annoying. Why are you so popular?”
Warren took her into his arms. “Since the answer is no, why are you sad? Are you afraid that history will repeat itself?”
Penelope’s body tensed. It was clear that he had hit the mark.
He tightened his arms and said, “Don’t worry. You have nothing to worry about.”
“How can I not worry? Life has a way of going in circles…” She expressed her concern.
He chuckled. “What books have you been reading recently? I don’t want to see them again.”
Penelope hugged him and buried her head in his neck.
She said, “I couldn’t stand a woman who loves you declaring war in front of me. If one day you don’t love me, just say it. Otherwise, even if women come to me themselves, I won’t believe it.”
Warren paused and then said, “Okay, unless I tell you, don’t believe it.”
Penelope felt comforted and kissed his neck. She whispered, “I have ways to make you unable to tell me anyway.”
Warren raised an eyebrow, a smile appearing in the corner of his mouth. He raised his hand to rub her hair and said, “Our son is still waiting for us at home. Let’s go home.”
“Okay, let’s go!”

Kathrine was indeed a woman who did what she said. She no longer catered to the old lady. When others asked her, she said that she had nothing to do with Warren, but he was just a very respected brother.
The leading actor had withdrawn, and the old lady’s play couldn’t continue naturally. But Kathrine wouldn’t let go of Penelope easily. Penelope had hurt her and caused her to lose love; she would give her some trouble.
Therefore, when old Mrs. Duncan came to Penelope with a group of people, Penelope scolded Kathrine thousands of times in her heart.
“Since you said that he is my grandson, why don’t you let me take him to do a paternity test?” The old lady stared at her sternly.
“Chris is still small. If strangers come close to him, he will cry.”
“Just a few hairs, it won’t hurt him.” The old lady insisted.
“But…”
“Are you lying to me again?” The old lady stared at her.
“No.” Penelope held Chris in her arms with a bitter face.
“If you don’t want to do it, I will do it myself. Anyway, you can’t escape it today.” The old lady snorted.
Penelope looked down at sleeping little Chris. He was like a sapling that grew up every day.
“Give me the scissors…” Penelope bowed her head to kiss Chris’s head. It was a little hot with the smell of shower gel.
She whispered, “Don’t be afraid, baby. It won’t hurt you.”
The old lady couldn’t help but say. “Just cut a few hairs. You don’t have to be so dramatic.”
“You’re dramatic…” Penelope was aggrieved. Looking at more than a dozen bodyguards who surrounded her, she had nowhere to go.
“Hurry up, or I’ll take the baby away!”
“No! I’ll cut it.” Penelope smiled.
Mrs. Brown fetched the small scissors, and Penelope took them reluctantly.
“What are you doing?” The old lady glared at her.
Penelope touched Chris’s hair and said, “His hair is good…. It is smooth and bright, much better than when I was a child.”
The old lady closed her eyes and became angry.
Penelope kissed Chris’s face. He was sleeping well, and he didn’t even notice that his mother was going to cut his hair.
“What are you doing?”
A majestic male voice rang out. Penelope breathed a sigh of relief, and the scissors slipped from her hand.
The old lady looked at Warren. She explained with a smile, “I heard that this child is your son. I am going to test it. If it is true, his name must be recorded in our family tree. If not…”
Penelope trembled, sitting there with Chris.
Warren walked over and hugged Penelope to comfort her. “Don’t be afraid; I am here.”
The old lady said, “Don’t make this expression. I haven’t confirmed.”
After comforting Penelope, Warren looked up at his mother. “What are you doing? You come to my house to bully my girlfriend. Is this the way you love me?”
The old lady pouted. “Same to you.”
“Do you doubt that the child is not mine? Well, I’ll help you to confirm.” He is right here.
“Hey!” The old lady said.
“What, you don’t want to know?” Warren asked with sarcasm.
The old lady yelled at him. “Be careful. He may be my grandson.”
Warren, “…”
Penelope looked at him. “Do you really want to pull it?”
“What are you afraid of?” Warren looked at her.
“I feel insulted…” Penelope bowed her head.
He reached out to touch her back neck and said, “Chris peed on you last night. You also said that you were insulted.”
“You…” Penelope looked up at him angrily.
