He held her head with one hand and kissed her on her lips. Penelope grasped the opportunity to kiss back and suddenly opened his lips. Her flexible tongue drove through like a newborn tiger, fearless.
Mrs. Brown found the door of the cloakroom open, and the light inside was still on. She walked over and wanted to turn off the lights and then go to sleep.
As she walked closer, she heard a strange voice in the house. Her hand on the door paused immediately. She seemed to think of something and worried instantly. Then she closed the door gently.

Kathrine sat near the window. She held her chin and looked out the window.
On the side of the road, a graceful figure walked down from the black Bentley. She was wearing a red dress and holding a black Fendi bag. Since her delivery two months ago, her body had recovered to its original state and was even hotter.
The bell rang a few times. Penelope walked in.
“Sorry, there was a traffic jam on the road,” she slightly bowed her head and sat down opposite Katherine.
“I never expected that you would take the initiative to come to me,” Kathrine stirred up the ice water in the cup and smiled.
Penelope said, “No matter who took the initiative, we would have met anyway.”
Kathrine stopped the movements with her hand and looked up at her. “You and the Penelope I saw before are very different.”
Three months had changed a lot of things. Penelope was no longer the pregnant woman behind Warren, and she was no longer a woman standing at his side.
“My guess is right. Once there is a man’s support, the whole person will change,” Kathrine smiled slightly and looked at Penelope with her hand on her chin.
“In your opinion, am I getting better or worse?”
“Good, but also not good.”
“What do you mean?”
Kathrine explained, “Good because you had become bright and refreshed, whether it was because of these things outside the body or not. As for the bad side, you were no longer that carefree girl; the advantage that attracted Warren was slowly being lost.”
Penelope squinted. “You commented on me. Can I talk about you?”
“I would love to hear about it.”
“I once said to Warren, if he fell in love with a woman, I would rather she is Kathrine.”
The waiter walked over with a glass of espresso. Penelope didn’t have to breastfeed Chris, so she didn’t have to worry about the details of the meal.
Kathrine was startled, and she didn’t hide her astonishment. “Why did you say that?”
“First, I thought you were in good condition, and you two matched very well. Second, you were kind. Even if I were competing with you, I guessed you wouldn’t pull any cheap tricks,” Penelope said honestly.
Kathrine smirked, “What can’t a woman do for her loved one? Why do you believe in me?”
“You and my younger sister are very similar,” Penelope looked at her and said, “Both of you are strong, and you’d make an ‘all or nothing’ decision. Although you have lots of means, you have your bottom line.”
“I love Warren. I would do anything for him,” Kathrine said with a smile.
Penelope chuckled, “I’m not afraid of it. I may be better at it than you when it comes to a lower limit.”
“What can you do? You still have a child. He likes you now, so he is willing to raise him. After that, can you guarantee that you can rely on him forever?”
Penelope nodded and said, “This is a problem, but you ignored one thing.”
“What?”
“He is the child’s biological father. He has half the responsibility of raising the child,” Penelope said smilingly.
Kathrine was stunned for a moment, then she quickly denied, “How can it be possible? You were pregnant before you knew him, this is impossible!”
“I won’t use the child to make irresponsible remarks. If you don’t believe it, you can ask him.”
“He is in love with you now. He will, of course…” Kathrine still insisted, but her heart was shaking.
She had been skeptical about their relationship before. Warren had taken care of her and her son carefully. What Penelope said now made everything make sense.
Penelope said, “We knew each other in the USA. We were afraid of old Mrs. Duncan’s disagreement, so we lied that the baby was Asher’s son. Now that we have decided to raise the child together, we must naturally tell the truth.”
Kathrine was shocked and depressed.
Penelope continued to say, “You don’t have to be discouraged. You’ll find your Mr. Right.”
“But can’t you give up on him?” Kathrine sneered.
“No, I can’t.”
“So why should I give him to you?”
“Not ‘give,’ he loves me. That’s it.” Penelope smiled and picked up the coffee cup. “You are a person who has no chance, and I have already won. So, honestly speaking, you can’t even be my rival.”
You had not yet appeared, but he had already chosen me.
You were far from being my rival. Not to mention winning or losing.

Kathrine had never expected that the young girl who was only smirking and eating would now have a sharp tongue, making her feel defeated.
“I have never been willing to be a third party. Since you love each other, I will not interfere.”
Her tone was very calm, but her gaze and sad eyes betrayed her.
“But you should know, I am not scared by you.” She held back her sadness and said word by word, “As you said, I have everything, and I have been excellent. How can I wrong myself in emotional matters? He doesn’t like me, so I don’t have to like him anymore.”
She said it freely and easily, but her heart was extremely sad.
She was an overdog and the jewel of her parents. Before she met Warren, she had never experienced failure. After meeting him, she suffered the torture of the word “love.”
She stood up with her bag and looked down at Penelope. She said, “Don’t think that you can rest assured after I give up. The most difficult test in a relationship is not a third party.”
