Warren frowned. “This kind of joke is not funny.”
“So now you understand my confusion. It is this kind of difficulty which can also shock you.” Penelope spread her hands.
“It’s better to start solving rather than stand here to perplex,” said Warren.
“How?”
“Start from where the problem begins.”
“If the result is shocking?”
“What is the worst result?”
“People who care about me will look down on me.” Penelope looked at him as if looking for an answer in his eyes.
He said, “If that person cares about you, he will not look down on you. If he doesn’t care about you, then the worst consequence is only a result for him.”
Penelope looked up, and the light from the crystal lamps shed on her cheeks. She felt like she was bathing in the sun on the beach and the whole world was clear.
The worst consequence is just a result.
Sure enough, he can help her find the answer anyway.
Penelope smiled lightly. If the child’s father is destined to be Phillip, that’s not bad. At least they can have a good appearance.
Like him, perhaps having his genes isn’t bad at all.

Penelope’s closest friend is probably Monica. She sent an e-mail to her and described the entire process, including her guess and relief.
Monica’s reply to her was very simple. She said, “I don’t think your baby’s father is the one you suspect because you exclude him.
Penelope asked, “Why? The clues have proven that he may be.”
Monica replies, “You reject him, my dear. If you reject a person, you will not have a one-night stand with him. Biologically, you cannot have an orgasm.”
Penelope sweated a bit and asked. “Maybe I am mistaken about that night.”
Monica didn’t reply back to her immediately, and she probably left for class.
Penelope lay in bed, holding her mobile phone in a daze.
Monica’s assumption was true. Feelings won’t lie. She didn’t have that feeling for Phillip. She was totally not attracted to him. It wasn’t about how unattractive he was. It just wasn’t that kind of shocking affection…
This is always wrong.
She had face blindness, but not heart blindness.
To get close to one person is absolutely not the case.
To get close to one person, she will unconsciously want to be closer. She will want to know more about him, integrate into his life, and be attracted to him, just like Newton’s law.
Universal gravitation. That man should have strong gravitation, just like… just like her attraction to Warren. Penelope suddenly sat up with her eyes wide open.
“Warren Duncan!”
Penelope moved the quilt, got out of bed, and ran out barefoot. She leaned down the railing and looked around.
The butler is checking whether the doors are closed. She suddenly appeared in front of him, so he asked, “Why are you still awake?”
“Did Mr. Duncan go to New York in October?” Penelope held the backrest of the chair next to her, and the strength of her hand almost broke it.
One second, two seconds, she heard the sound of the second hand going in her mind.
“No, he traveled to Europe.”
“No?”
“Yes, I remember very clearly because the merger in Europe was negotiated in October. That’s why he went to Europe.”
“A whole month?”
“Yes.”
Penelope wasn’t very disappointed. After all, this probability was just her fantasy. After it was confirmed, she just thought that she might be mad.
She is mad that she ever thought that he would have something to do with her. She went upstairs, and every step was heavy. The nothingness after the excitement makes people powerless.
However, for a second, she really thought he might be that man.

Later in the night, Monica saw the information she sent and replied with a short message, “You must be falling in love…”
Penelope felt goosebumps.
She has been ignoring this reason and phenomenon, but is it always unsuccessful?
Yes, she may have fallen in love with Warren, so she began to fantasize about a one-night stand with him and imagined that they would be involved in such a mess.
It is said that those who fall into love will suffer from hypochondria, and everything that happens around them is trying to be tied up with them.
Her symptoms of this disease are full-blown, and it seems that… she is falling in love.

Warren sat at the table in front of a half-eaten breakfast. He held a cup of coffee in one hand and a newspaper in the other.
“Look up, the plate is almost done.” He moved the newspaper a little and stared at Penelope.
Penelope tucked in her hair to reveal half her face. Honestly speaking, she is really a beautiful woman. It’s just that this kind of beauty is typical.
Penelope has wheat-colored skin. She has a pair of sexy single eyelids full of charm.
She was very neutral, like an unruly boy when she had short hair. When her hair got a bit longer, she gradually showed a woman’s charm. Her look melted anybody’s heart every time she smiled.
“Did you make yourself up?” He stared at her carefully.
Penelope bowed her head with a shy smile. “A little bit…”
He dropped the newspaper and said, “Don’t make yourself up, you are still pregnant.”
With a squeak, the sound of the knife passing over the plate is quite abrupt.
“Excuse me, my hands are trembling.” She put down the knife.
He frowned and said, “If it’s too cold, change your clothes.”
Penelope bit her lips. The small sexy skirt she spent half an hour carefully selecting is an announced failure.
She left the table and glared at him.
Then she slammed her slippers upstairs.
Mrs. Brown walked out of the kitchen with the fruit and said, “Mr. Duncan, please don’t bewilder. When a woman is pregnant, her temper is a little weird…”
“Is it?”
“Yes, some people will suffer from depression.”
Warren is surprised. “So serious?”
“They are individual cases. The majority feel uncomfortable because they have not adjusted their mindset.” Mrs. Brown was an experienced woman. She explained carefully to him.
Warren didn’t think she was wayward when he saw her closed door. She is just the same age as Grace. Now she lived in someone else’s house while going through pregnancy on her own. It is normal for her to feel uncomfortable.
Penelope changed her clothes and sat on the windowsill. She held Ross and touched his head.
“Fail! Fail! It didn’t work!”
