The next morning I was woken up thanks to the small tap from Trinity.
“Rise and shine,” She mumbled under breath.
I opened my eyes to see my room almost empty, I turned my head sideways like a lost duck until it hit me that I was actually moving from Hardy’s villa and well, maybe to a new place of his.
“Ready for the ride of your life,?” Trinity seemed happy, taking down the curtains around my bed.
“Not really,” I said, wanting to go back asleep.
“Come on, don’t sleep, everyone’s waiting for you, your luggage has been set, the jet is here…”
And just as Trinity said those words, my door burst open and the maids who always dressed me walked in.
In few minutes I was stripped naked, and was getting scrubbed in the bathtub. I was now so used to getting bathed and dressed by maids that I think I would make an actual mess if I tried to bath or dress myself.
It was a bit alarming.
Dressed in a blue silky dress that glistened under the lights, my hair was tied in a neat bun, before I slipped my legs in black flats and exited my room and to the jet in the Villa’s wide area.
My eyes Welled up seeing how many people had come out to see me off, not like it was their choice, it felt forced.
Nobody gave a shit about me
All maids in the villa stood in a straight line from the beginning of the entrance of where I came out and to the door of the Hardy’s private jet.
Which really wasn’t necessary.
They all had big smiles on their faces which somehow seemed forced, and some did seem genuine but only because I would be going away and they would have to go home to spend time with people they actually loved.
I stepped into the jet, to see Trinity and Theodore and they welcomed me with the biggest grin ever.
Like a chapter of my life is about to change.
Luckily this time, I wasn’t given a pill like my two last rides, and I planned to stay awake as long as I could.
But my body got the best of me and I ended up sleeping throughout the flight.
~
My voice literally lost itself when we got to the “New place”.
It was another villa, and it got me pondering how wealthy Hardy was, the whole place seemed unfamiliar, more like a different country and I found myself getting uncomfortable, it we were in a different country then any escape plan of mine would be futile.
Just that the past few days I haven’t had any thoughts about escaping.
This new place seemed rather new too, like it just finished being constructed and furnished, the structures of the house seemed unique, instead of being painted the walls hid itself in glistening marbles, it was already evening so the lights above the house showed how the marble glistened, it had a pool, a very huge one and an inbuilt jacuzzi inside the pool.
There was so much about the place that left my mouth hung open, everything was just so big, including the decorative vases that was placed to give the house a fine look, that was at least two inches taller then me.
I made my way into the house with Trinity behind me, the moment we landed I had no idea where Theodore had gone off to, so it was just Trinity escorting me to my ‘New room’.
It was a new place and stuff but my eyes twitched after seeing new maids walking around the place in the same black uniform, and some guards.
No matter how luxurious I live, I will still be Hardy’s Captive, and someone he still wouldn’t care about.
After taking a thousand turns and some flights of stairs with Trinity, we finally got to the room I would be staying in.
“Welcome home.” Trinity beamed happily, like a child.
Despite being in her late thirties i think, a lot of things excited her like a child.
Or maybe she was just trying to get my solemn mood in place.
I walked into the new room, and it was nothing like the old one, this one had bright walls, the Colour yellow in particular, the same mirror table like the old one I had stood at the corner of the room, a queen sized bed with transparent curtains around it, dark wine colored rug closed the floors and the tall high roof had crystal like chandeliers dropping from its surface.
If Bailey could see this…
I don’t know why I suddenly thought of her, but we’ve always talked about what it would be like to live such a life.
All Bailey ever talked about was money, money…
Maybe that was the reason she got me in such a situation..
Well this was the life, if she could withstand being pregnant and Hardy, the life she has always talked about was just feet away from being hers, if she hadn’t run away.
Trinity walked around the room and the wardrobe on the other side of the enormous room, my eyes was just catching.
“Your things have been set” She opened the wardrobe revealing a new set of outfits, mostly silky dresses.
Ugh.
She pointed to a small bell hanging by my- the bed.
“That is your sort of message bell, in case you need anything, like extra sheets, meals, anything at all,” She beamed.
“Okay…” I mumbled, my eyes drifting off to study the rest of the place.
“And on Mondays and Thursdays, your very own doctor will be coming here for you and your child.” Trinity beamed.
“You mean, Hardy’s child,” I corrected.
“Oh.. Well” She shrugged a bit flustered.
.
I had dinner alone in my room and after it, I had dessert, and just enjoyed the strawberry tart on my plate leaving the rest of the overly sweet food.
The night was young, I was full, my room was brightly lit.
I was alone, a little down, no reason why I was down, but I was quiet, sitting on the warm floor close to my bed and hugging my knees.
If I decided to go take a walk, I would surely be escorted like a prisoner, and I hated that feeling so much. So I stayed back and let myself drown in thoughts until I was tired enough to sleep.
Staring at nothing but the furry hairs from the rug, I was shaken by the small knock that came on the door.
My legs sprinted to the door immediately, I wanted distraction so bad, I was extremely bored and Theodore standing outside the door was exactly perfect that moment.
“HI…” I opened the door wider and he walked in.
“How are you?” He asked, taking the door’s handle and closing it.
I was already seated on the bed,
“Good. I guess” I shrugged.
“How are you feeling? Not everyone feels the best after moving,”
Theodore took a seat beside me.
“I don’t know, I just feel… I don’t know, when you’re not happy, you’re not Sad, you’re just there.” I shrugged.
“I get it,” Theodore smiled.
“It happens”
“I’m basically just bored” I came clean.
Theodore laughed…
“Yeah well, welcome to my life” He buried his hand in his shoulder length dirty blond.
“How do you deal with all this, you basically have no one, just Hardy every second of your life, and he’s not one to talk to, he’s such a bore. I wonder how you keep up,” I scoffed.
“Hardy’s a conversation starter and keeper if I may presume, you just haven’t met that side of him yet, if anything I think I’m the boring one”
I scoffed, “Yeah right.
I turned to see Theodore staring at me, a sagging smile on his face.
“What?” I scoffed for the one hundredth time.
“Nothing,” He shook his head.
“Then quit staring at me like that” I smacked his shoulder lightly.
“Okay, ouch.” He joked, and rubbed it like it actually hurt.
I rolled my eyes with a smile, “Cry about it”
I could still feel my smile lingering when Theodore’s hand cupped my chin.
I stopped smiling, knowing what was next, his eyes could tell, and my lips suddenly quivered about it.
In seconds we closed the gap between us, and with light kisses as soft as how clouds would feel on your lips, I felt my hand bring Theodore’s hand down to my waist so I could wrap my hand around his neck, because it was the only way I could enjoy more of this intimacy.
With his hand on my waist and my hands wrapped around his neck, I was ready to straddle Theodore, it was lying on the back of my mind as we continued kissing, but ‘His’ Voice stopped our action.
I found my mouth leaving Theodore’s to turn to the door only to see it wide open and Hardy standing there, not looking happy.
“Okay, Party’s time over.”
He had said…
