” I don’t think Sheila will make such a decision out of the air. Something must have happened. Tell me, did you make her mad?” Gabriel asked.
After knowing Sheila for some time, he could tell that she was a sensible person. To top it all , he knew that she loved David.
David shook his head. He did nothing last night.
” Think properly otherwise we can’t solve this. Did she ask you for something special or want you to do something for her?” Gabriel asked and David’s eyes widened in surprise.

” You remembered something?” Gabriel pressed.
David nodded, looking away.
” What is it?” Gabriel was so interested to know what would have made that little beauty mad at David that she would want a divorce.
David hesitated for a while. He was not sure if he wanted to tell anybody what happened between them last night.
” Come on now, how am I supposed to help you patch things up with her if you don’t tell me what’s wrong?” Gabriel was unwilling to give up.
” Last night, she was very passionate and asked me to make love to her. I asked her if she was drunk and she got mad and left our bedroom.” David explained.
” Ptffff hahahaha!” Gabriel burst out laughing that he clutched his stomach which hurt from so much laughing.
Seeing that, David glared at him.
” What’s there to laugh at?” He asked angrily. He should not have told the man about his predicament. He should just have figured it out himself. But who was he kidding? He would never have thought about that.
” It’s hilarious, hahaha. I mean like, why would you think she is drunk when she wants to make love to you? The two of you are married for heaven’s sake so it’s only natural she would want to be passionate with you.” Gabriel explained after he was done making fun of David.
” Or could it be…” he said, his eyes scanning David suspiciously.
” What?” David snapped. He liked straightforward people not being left to fill the blanks in a sentence or wrack his brain trying to figure out what someone wanted to say.
” Could it be that you can’t perform well? I mean do you have a problem with it, you know?” Gabriel asked, his eyes narrowing on David’s lower part of the body.
” Bullshit! Of Course not.” The Man aggressively replied.
” Are you sure?” Gabriel pressed. If his buddy could not perform well and his wife wasum unsatisfied, he could help him with a few contact doctors to help him.
” Do you want me to show you?” David felt insulted being questioned about his bedroom prowess. Either way, he understood that Gabriel was just worried.
” No no no! If you say it’s good, then I believe it’s good.” Gabriel said, chuckling awkwardly.
Show him? He was a straight man with a girlfriend back at home and although David was handsome and rich, that was not enough for him to bend his principles or even cheat on Vanessa.
” I think that’s where the problem is. You have to appease your wife and make sure you satisfy her in bed. Spice things up and as an apology, seduce her.” Gabriel advised, a smirk dancing at the corner of his lips.
He could not wait to give David a few tips on how to seduce his wife.
” Seduce her?” David repeated. The word sounded foreign in his lips.
” Yes, make her want you so that she will never think about leaving you.” Gabriel offered.
After contemplating, David figured out that the idea was actually good. As long as he could keep his little woman by his side, he could do the Seducing thing.
” How do you do it?” He asked.
Gabriel clapped his hands excitedly.
” Don’t worry, you came to the right person.” He said, his head held high.

After listening to more suggestions about seducing his wife, David left the office hopeless.

With that in mind, he ordered Aunt Meng to make arrangements because he would be preparing something special for his wife.
He stopped by a flower shop to get flowers for Sheila.

After getting everything he needed, he drove home ready to start ” mission to conquer his wife all over again.”
At the diner, Sheila’s eyes scanned around tracing Vanessa. It did not take long to see her friend. She walked to her with a big smile on her face. She was happy to see her friend and sister.
After the two shared a hug, Sheila proceeded to order a cup of espresso.
Winter was fast approaching and the weather was turning cold.
” So tell me about it?” Vanessa started.
Sheila explained everything starting from her conversation with doctor John and how David intended to keep it a secret for her.
After listening to her best friend’s story, Vanessa could not help but shed a tear.
” He really loves you so much that he doesn’t want to impose on you yet you said you wanted to divorce him?” Vanessa admonished.
” You know that I was just joking. I love him, how can I ever dream of leaving him. I just want to help Lily and the faster I conceive, the sooner she can have the surgery. I can’t bear Looking at her in pain everyday.” Sheila explained.
” Maybe you should just talk to him. Let him know that you are ready to conceive a child to save Lily. She is his daughter, he will agree.” Vanessa advised but Sheila shook her head.
” Since he is determined to keep me in the dark, if I let him know that doctor John and I talked, I can kiss goodbye to getting pregnant.” She knew her husband so well to know what he was capable of doing.
” Are you ready to be a mother Sheila? You are only 21 years old. Are you sure you’ll never regret your decision in the future.” Vanessa sought to confirm.
Before meeting David, her friend only thought about working hard and earning lots of money to travel the world. Now, she wanted to be a mother at such an early stage?
” You know me Vanessa. I don’t do things out of Impulse. David and I are married and Lily is our daughter. What mother will ever watch their children suffer without doing everything in their power to help them?” She asked.
” I guess I was blessed with the worst version of parents then because mine won’t hesitate to bury me in shit for their happiness.” Vanessa said sadly.
Sometimes, she could not help but wonder if she was adopted.
” Since you have made up your mind, who am I to stop you? I also want to see Lily up on her feet. She is such a lovable child, she deserves to be happy.” Vanessa spoke. If that’s what her friend wanted, she will always support her.
