David’s kisses were Savage as he devoured Sheila’s lips, biting them and bruising them.
It was like he was transferring all his annoyance to that one kiss, telling her that he was angry with her.
Sheila, who wasn’t prepared for this, was taken aback when David attacked her lips. She had stilled in place until she felt pain shoot through her lower lip. She didn’t need anybody to tell her that she was bruised, making her tears fall.
Sheila struggled to push him away. When her efforts were proved futile, she punched him in the stomach, making David groan out loud before leaving her lips.
She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. It’s until then that David realised what he had done. He had failed to control his rage and hurt his little woman. Guilt flooded his mind making him look away seeing her broken lip.
” I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you.” He apologised, his voice remorseful.
Sheila didn’t know whether to forgive him or continue being angry at him.
” Open the door!” She said weakly, her voice low as she wiped her tears.
David was surprised before getting angry at her words. He couldn’t seem to understand the little woman. He had already said sorry so why was she making things difficult?
She was at fault in the first place for coming to a dinner date with her senior and then started avoiding him like he’s some kind of a plague.
In a moment of rage, he attacked her. Although he knew that nothing could justify what he did, he still hoped they could be civil with each other and talk through their issues and hopefully resolve them.
” Where do you want to go?” He asked, trying to conceal his anger. David knew that being angry at this point will not help the situation, if anything, it will only Worsen everything.
” I need to go home.” Sheila replied, her anger building up.
Their situation had already come to this, why was he still keeping her in his expensive car?
” I’ll drive us home.” David Said.
He didn’t bring his chauffeur on his way here so only he could drive them home.
” I don’t want to trouble you, I can get a cab to drop me off.” Sheila insisted.
Irritated by her stubbornness, David turned to glare at her, his mouth spouting venom.
” What’s the problem with you? I said I’ll drive us home. Do you want to go back to your senior and finish off where you left? I am warning you woman, you belong to me only. I will destroy anybody who dares harbour any feelings for you.”
Sheila was surprised by his outburst.
What did he mean by wanting to go back and finish off where she stopped with Blake? Wasn’t he the one being accompanied by sexy women out for dinner. When did he turn the table and make her the sinner?
” Hah!” Sheila chuckled sarcastically.
” What does it have to do with you who I decide to meet up with? Ain’t you the one taking out ladies for dinner and still claim I am your girlfriend? Why are you so angry at me? Is it because I saw you with your new girlfriend?” Sheila asked, tears rolling down her cheeks.
She could not believe the nerve of the guy, twisting facts and turning the tables around to her.
Sheila cried bitterly, her shoulders shook as she choked on her tears.
She loves the man very Much. She knew that she had fallen so deep that she couldn’t get up after she saw him hands In hands with another woman.
The pain had been so much that she thought she would faint. But she had pretended to be fine by ignoring them.
She thought that ignoring them would be the best decision and so she did.
So why was he yelling at her like she was the one cheating on the other?
Although it saddened him to see her cry, something about what she Said made him smile.
David could taste and feel every ounce of jealousy in her words. She was jealous that he was close to another woman just like he did when he realised she was in the hotel with someone else.
Hooking his finger at her chin, he slowly lifted it, making her look at him with her tear stricken face.
” You are jealous?” It was more of a statement than a question, making Sheila look away, a shade of pink colouring her cheeks.
” Does that mean you love me?” David asked, eager to hear her answer.
Although he was certain that age Loved him, he still wanted to hear it from her mouth.
Over the past few days, no matter how busy he was, he did not forget to read the book his assistant Jordan bought for him.
The book was titled, ” Understanding More about love.”
The things he didn’t understand, Jordan was there to explain to him.
It’s there he learnt that jealousy is a sign of love. Only someone who loves you will feel uncomfortable when he sees you around people of the opposite gender.
According to her words, she didn’t seem okay with him being close with Regina. Who would have thought that Regina’s appearance would make him realise that the little woman has feelings for him. He smiled, happy at the revelation.
Faced by his questioning gaze, Sheila blushed even more.
She didn’t Know if it was a wise move to confess or even admit that she has feelings for him.
She didn’t want to embarrass herself if it turned out that he was just teasing her or asking a random question.
” What are you talking about?” She retorted, her eyes looking anywhere but not at his face.
David smiled at her flushed face.
Pulling her to himself, he kissed her.
This time, his kisses were gentle as he kissed and nibbled her lower lip.
Sheila opened her mouth, letting him thrust his tongue into her mouth. His tongue explored every corner of her mouth, tasting her.
Copying his actions, Sheila kissed him back, clumsily.
