(3rd person P. O. V)
Nikki was shocked when she woke up and found the twins apologizing to her for causing trouble for her. She looks at Cole for an answer. Cole explains to her that he has talked with the twins. He told them that their mama was carrying a baby. And if they cause any more trouble for their mama, she and the baby will get hurt. As Nikki opened her mouth to thank him, her stomach growled in hunger. Cole said he would bring something to eat for her.
“Did everyone leave already?” Nikki asks while grabbing his hand to stop him.
“No, they were downstairs in the living room chatting with each other, waiting for servants to serve the dinner,” Cole said to her.
“Good then, I will have dinner with them,” Nikki said while trying to get up from the bed, but Cole stopped her, worrying that if she didn’t take proper care of herself, then she would pass out on him again.
“I know you are worried about me, but I am fine now. Besides, I need some fresh air,” Nikki said to him and showed him her puppy dog eyes when he looked like he would argue with me.
He sighed and then helped Nikki get up from the bed. Nikki walked inside the washroom, washed her face, combed her air, made sure that she looked presentable for everyone, and then went to the living room.
“Here comes another mama,” Stella said when she was walking downstairs.
“Congratulations, my friend,” Alisha said and hugged Nikki.
“Thank you,” Nikki said while returning her hug.
“Congratulations,” Stella said to Nikki and hugged Nikki.
“Sorry for taking the spotlight from you, Stella,” Nikki said while returning her hug.
“Don’t mind it. I am happy that you are also pregnant with me. This way, my child has a friend of her age to play with; I hope we both give birth to a baby girl,” Stella said with a huge smile.
“How are you feeling now, Nikki?” Rose asks, looking worried.
“Fine, just a bit tired,” Nikki said with a smile.
“Luna, dinner is ready,” an Omega came and informed us.
“Go and call children for dinner,” Nikki said to her. She bows in front of them and walks away from there to call the children for dinner. We all go to the dining room for dinner.
“Mama, how are you feeling now?” Adam asks while walking towards us.
“I am fine, baby,” Nikki said and kissed his cheek, making him giggle.
“Aunt Nikki, is it true that we all are going on a picnic tomorrow?” Benjamin asks while taking a seat beside his parents.
“Yes,” Nikki answered before Cole could answer him.
“Baby,” Cole said while whimpering in front of her, hoping she would give up the idea.
“I know that you are worried about me, but I also want to go out to enjoy myself. It has been so long since everyone. Besides, it will be a good stress reliever, ” Nikki said while giving puppy eyes to him.
“Let her go, Cole. And if you are worried that she will overwork herself while preparing to go for a picnic, you don’t have to worry about it. I will make all the preparations,” Rose said to him.
“If that’s help, I will also help Rose with the preparations,” Alisha said to Cole.
“Okay, only if you promise me you won’t push yourself and tell me if you are tired or don’t feel well, okay?” Cole asks Nikki, and she nods her head in agreement, and all the children cheer in joy.
“So, what is the plan?” Cole asks them.
“How about we go to the water park first and then the amusement park tomorrow?” Nikki suggested, and everyone agreed with her.
“And we can go to the zoo and aquarium in the morning. And on the beach in the evening, on the day after tomorrow?” Stella suggested, but both Torak and Cole objected to the idea.
“Why not?” Stella asks while glaring daggers at him.
“Because you are pregnant, and I don’t want you to wear yourself out,” Torak said to her.
“I agree with him,” Rose said Cole said to her.
“Mom, not you too,” Stella said while pouting.
“Besides, the kids also have to go to school on Monday. I don’t want them to get tired and wake up late for school,” Cole said to him.
“We won’t. We promise,” the kids said simultaneously.
*So cute,* Mike thought but cleared his thought.
“Come on, guys, don’t act like a spoiled child. You are a mother now. It’s not like it’s going to be our last weekend. We will go there next Saturday or Sunday,” Mike said to them. Nikki and Stella give up on the idea, knowing that there is no way to argue with them when they all get on one side.
After dinner, they have ice cream and cake as dessert and go back to the living room to spend some more time with each other before they call it a night and head back to their rooms.
“Nikki, can I talk to you alone for a second?” Emma asks while walking towards her.
“Sure,” Nikki said and led her to where no one could hear them.
“I have talked to their power animals and made them invisible with magic. The twins also won’t be able to see them, but they will be there to protect them. When the twins ask why they aren’t able to see their pet animals make some story and also tell them not to talk about them with anyone, okay?'” Emma asked me, and I nodded my head at him.
“One more thing, it was possible for the baby to use your power to develop at unimaginable speed, and be born early, which can put you, the twins, and your newly born baby in danger. So to make sure that it doesn’t happen, I had put a spell on you when you were unconscious, which can allow the baby to absorb your power but stop it from using it, from accelerating its abnormal growth,” Emma said to me.
“Thank you so much, Emma. I am so grateful to have you and Cole in my life because I don’t know what I would have done without you guys,” I said while grabbing her hands in mine.
“You are welcome, and I will always stay by your side. After all, you are like my own daughter. I may have stopped the child’s abnormal growth, but we have to do the same thing with it we have done with the twins,” Emma said, referring to the time when she had created power pets for the twins to stop their abnormal growth.
“I should leave now, take care of yourself, okay,” Emma said and then walked out from there. Nikki was worn out and overwhelmed with everything that had happened that day, so she excused herself and went to her room to get some sleep.
The next day, everyone gets up early in the morning, packs their bags, has breakfast, and leaves for their picnic. It was too early for the waterpark to be open, so they decided to go to the garden near the waterpark first and then go to the waterpark. Cole, Nikki, Stella, Kelvin, and Torak decided to go in one car, while Rose and Mike decided to go in another car with the kids. Daisy, Stephen, and Emma also tag along with them in another car.
It takes 45 minutes for them to get there. They park the car and walk inside the garden. Cole and Torak grabbed everything they needed and followed after them. The boys played with the kids. The girls sat beside the lake and chatted with each other while feeding the ducks in the ducks.
At 10:30 am, Cole gathered everyone and told them to get inside the car so that they could head to the water park. It takes 30 minutes for them to get there. The boys buy tickets for everyone while the girls take the kids and walk inside the waterpark.
They go to the washroom, help kids change into their swimming suits, change clothes, then try different swimming pools and different rides, enjoying their picnic. At noon they decided to have lunch in a canteen in the waterpark and rest in the restroom, go shopping at a nearby mall until it was time for them to head to the amusement park.
By the time they return home from their picnic, all the children have gotten tired and fallen asleep in the car. Cole mind-links a few Omegas and tells them to get the luggage from the car. After saying goodnight to everyone, boys carry the kids to their room, change their clothes, and tuck them in the bed while girls go to their room to change into comfortable clothes and go to sleep.
