(Nikki P. O. V)
After coming home, I completed my remaining work, helped Omegas with dinner, and got ready to receive the guest. When I walked downstairs, Emma walked inside the room, and I engulfed her in a hug.
“How does it go?” I ask her.
“It was tiring, but I have erased their memories. You better explain everything to the twins,” Emma said to me.
“Ah, about that, can you explain it to them because I don’t know how to explain it. The twins are too young to understand it.” I request her.
“Let me see. Give me some time. I will come up with something,” Emma said to me, and I nodded, feeling thankful to have her by my side.
“Hey guys,” Stella walks inside the room with a big smile, lots of bags in her hand, Torak on her tail, and Benjamin in his arms. She puts bags on the couch and hugs Emma and me.
“Hey, Stella, how are you doing?” I said while returning her hug.
“Hello, Aunt Nikki,” Benjamin said with a cute little face and hugged me.
“Hey, little one. How was your school going on?” I ask while taking him from Torak and kissing his cheek.
“Where is everyone? I have big news to share with you,” Stella asks, looking excited.
“Cole is in his office, finishing some of his work. Mom and Dad are gone to see Aunt Ashly, they will be here before dinner, and the twins are in their room playing with their toys and watching their favorite cartoon,” I said to her.
“Mom, can I go and play with the twins?” Benjamin asked, and Stella nodded her head. I put him down, and he ran towards the twin’s room.
“This is for the twins today. When I go shopping, I see them, and I know that it would suit them perfectly,” she said while handing me the bags she had brought with her. I take it from her and tell an Omega to keep it in my room when she comes with snacks for us.
“What is good news you want to share with us?” Cole asks while walking downstairs.
“Let’s wait for others. I will tell you when everyone gets here,” Stella said while taking a seat.
“You look tired and pale, Nikki. Is everything alright?” Stella asks, looking worried.
“I don’t know why, but I feel tired and moody nowadays,” I said.
“It’s maybe because twins wore her out. You know how energetic and troublesome they are,” Mom said while walking inside the room, father tailing after her, carrying dozens of bags in his hands.
“Mom, Dad,” Stella said while standing up and engulfing them in a hug.
“Hello darling, how are you doing? And congratulations,” Rose said while returning her hug.
“Mom, how did you know? Did Torak tell you about it?” Stella asks her and throws a glare at him. Torak raised his hand in surrender and shook his head as a no while, dad, and Cole looked at them in confusion.
“Hey, guys, what’s going on? Did we miss something?” Alisha and Ryan ask while walking inside the room with Oscar, and the twins and Benjamin also walk downstairs after hearing all the commotions.
“Good, since everyone is here, I think we should tell you now,” Torak said while walking towards Stella and taking Stella away from Mom.
“Guys, we are going to be a parent again. I am pregnant,” Stella said, looking excited, and hugged Torak. We all hugged her and congratulated her.
“Mom, what does being pregnant mean?” Adams asks while pulling my dress to get my attention.
“It means that now Benjamin will have a little brother or sister to play with him,” Cole said while picking him up in his arms.
“Really?” Adams asked, and we nodded our heads.
“Wow, congratulations, Benjamin,” the twins said and shook his hand.
“Oscar, baby, aren’t you going to congratulate them?” Alisha asks Oscar, who is busy looking around for something while tilting his head and twitching his nose until his head turns towards me, and his eyes sparkle with glee.
“Mine,” Oscar shouted while looking at me, then ran towards me and hugged me.
“I am sorry to break your heart, champ, but your aunt Nikki belongs to me,” Cole said while kneeling.
“Not Aunt Nikki, but the baby. The baby is mine,” Oscar said while hugging me tightly while we all looked at him, confused until my head started to spin and everything went dark.
(3rd person P. O. V)
“Nikki,” Cole shouted and caught her before she could touch the ground.
“Nikki, Nikki,” Cole called her name worriedly while lightly shaking her face to wake her up.
“Son, take her to your room. I will call the doctor,” Mike said while taking the phone out of his pocket and calling the doctor. Cole nodded his head, held Nikki in his arms to their room, and gently lay her down on his bed. After some time, the doctor walked inside the room with Rose. The doctor started checking on her after sending everyone out of her room.
“Dad, mom is going to be alright, right?” Adam asks him while grabbing his jeans to get his attention.
“Of course, Adam, mom will be alright. Don’t you know how strong she is? I know she will wake up soon,” Ashton said while patting his brother’s head to comfort him. Adams looked at his father for confirmation, and Cole nodded his head at him. After some time, the doors open, and the doctor walks out of the room.
“Congratulations, Alpha, you’re going to be a father again,” the doctor said with a big smile on his face before he could ask about her condition.
“She was just exhausted and stressed out due to lots of work. I would advise her to eat healthy food, take a lot of rest, and didn’t take any stress because it can affect both of them. I will set an appointment for next week for both of you so that she can get a proper check-up,” the doctor said to them.
“Thank you, doctor. I will sure take proper care of her,” Cole said with a sigh of relief and made a mental note to himself to have a good talk with the twins so that they didn’t create any trouble for her.
“How is the baby, doctor? She is fine right?” Oscar asks the doctor, gathering others’ attention on him, reminding them that he was the first to find out that Nikki was pregnant.
“Yes, little one. Both Mama and baby are fine,” he said while ruffling his hair.
“Thank you, doctor. I will walk you out to your car,” Mike said and led the doctor out of the castle.
“How did you find out that Aunt Nikki is carrying a baby?” Cole asks while getting to his eye level.
“When I walk inside the room, I smell the wonderful smell of Strawberry and mint. It smelled divine. It calms and excites me simultaneously,” Oscar said to him, and he just ruffled his head. Other people standing there ignore it, thinking that Oscar has stronger senses than others since none of the people smell the changes in Nikki’s body.
Generally, normal werewolves and vampires can not smell the changes in a werewolf’s mother’s body until they are three months pregnant with the baby. So, Emma found it strange that Oscar could smell the baby’s scent when Nikki was only one week pregnant. But she ignores it, thinking that she is making a fuss out of nothing and has more important work to do than dwelling on this matter.
