After sending Dad and cole to the pack-house, I went to my room, did some stretching, grabbed my sleeping clothes, and went inside my washroom to take a hot shower. Even after taking a hot shower for a long time, I did not feel my muscles relax; I sigh get dressed, and then, got inside the bed.
I tried to sleep in the bed, twisting and turning, trying to find a comfortable position but all in vain. With a sigh, I get up from the bed and walk onto the balcony.
“Can’t able to sleep?” Emma asks while walking inside the balcony.
“Yes, I was worried, thinking, what will happen? When the vampire council and werewolf council face each other to discuss the alliances between them, ” I said to her while gazing at the moon.
“It will be chaos,” Emma said with a smile on her face.
“It sure will,” I said while smiling at her.
“You know I wanted to talk with you for a long time, but you always seem to be busy with one thing or another,” Emma said to me.
“Witches of our clan have started getting impatient. They don’t want to stay at my mansion anymore. They wanted to find themselves a cave and wanted you to become their leader as soon as possible,” Emma said to me.
“I know. I will talk with the witches as soon as I get vampires and werewolves to form their alliances,” I said to her. I stand up from the railing and groan in pain.
“What happened?” Emma asks worriedly.
“My muscles are stiff from all the work I have been doing these days. I have also taken a hot shower, but it also goes in vain.” I said to her.
“Here, let me help you,” Emma said while walking towards me and helping me get to my room. She helps me get into the bed and gives me a very nice massage, and I don’t know when I fall into a deep slumber.
I wake up with my phone going off in my ears. I picked up the phone and was shocked when I saw it was already 9:30 am. Shit! I curse under my breath and receive the call.
“Hello,” I said on the phone in a sleepy voice while running around the room to get ready for the day.
“Good morning, sleeping beauty,” Cole said with a chuckle.
“Good morning, Cole, ” I said to him while taking my clothes from my bag and walking inside the washroom.
“Did you sleep well?” Cole asks me.
“Hardly, and that’s also when Emma gives me a wonderful body massage,” I said to him. I kept the phone on speaker to talk with him while doing another thing at the same time.
“Me too. How long are you going to stay there?” Cole asks me.
“I don’t know, maybe a week or two. I have to stay here to help Ryan get used to being king and also have to discuss alliances, too,” I said on the phone.
“So, when do you want me to arrange an alpha meeting with other pack alphas?” Cole asks me.
“After two weeks, if that is okay with you?” I said to him.
“That is okay with me. I will call other alphas and ask if they are free after two weeks for a meeting and arrange it, okay?” Cole asks me, nods my head at him, and then remembers that he can’t see me.
“Yes, I am okay with it,” I said on the phone.
“And please, try to complete your work there as soon as possible,” Cole said on the phone.
“I will,” I said to him, and he hung up on me. I take the quickest shower of my life, get dressed, and walk inside the hall to have breakfast with others.
“I am sorry for being late. I hope I didn’t miss too much,” I said as I took a seat beside elder Rick at the table.
“No, you didn’t. We also just joined the table for breakfast,” Ryan said, smiling at me. A servant comes and serves us breakfast. After breakfast, we all go to the conference room to discuss the ally.
“Please ask all your doubts one by one. Let’s begin from the right side,” Ryan said to them.
“What if a werewolf kills a vampire or vice versa, and their council member decides on a baiza?” one of the vampire coven leaders asks us.
“I have already thought about it. I think that I should form a different council for alliances. It will have ten members in it. Three members from the vampire council, three members from the werewolf council, and four members were the powerful witches from my clan, excluding me,” I said to them.
“Did it include king Ryan or the alpha of any pack?” elder Rocky asks me.
“No, because if they do, people from their kingdom or pack will raise the question of his/her decision. This is the same reason I have not included my selves because I am a mate of an alpha, ” I said to them.
“What if someone bride the council member to decide in their favor?” elder Tannish asks me.
“The elected council members will be forced to take a blood oath so that they don’t do injustice to anyone, and we all know what happens when you break a blood oath?” I said to them, and they nodded their head in understanding.
“But what happens when the council members themselves will do the crime?” Ryan asks me.
“The council member who did the crime will be presented in front of other council members. The moon goddess will be present there herself. She will be hiding from all of our eyes and will decide that council member’s fate. And if they were found guilty, they would be punished by the moon goddess herself, according to their crime.” I said to them.
“Now about selecting the alliance council members, there were ten members selected by your people. They have to go through some tests. Out of those ten members, three members were selected to be member of the alliance’s council. The test will be taken by Emma and the other three elderly witches, who are part of the council,” I said to them.
“You know both vampires and werewolves have their territories. What if anyone of the vampires or werewolves cross their territories, knowingly or unknowingly?” one of the vampire leaders Pratik asks me.
“Any of you are not allowed to cross each other’s territories. It doesn’t matter if it’s a vampire or a werewolf. If you have to cross each other territory, you first have to get permission from all the council members. In cases of urgency or emergency, also. You have to summon them, and they will be there to talk with you.” I said to them.
“Can you explain what you consider urgent/ emergency?” elder Charly asks me.
“Rescuing pack members, helping another pack, etc. We haven’t discussed that, but I will discuss it with others to make a list of the situations,” I explain to them.
“What happens if a whole pack or a whole vampire clan attacks each other?” one of the vampire leaders asks me.
“It depends on the situation. 1. If only an alpha or vampire leader wants to attack each other by forcing their clan or pack. Then the council will punish their leaders for attacking the clan or pack.. 2. If it is a whole pack or clan who wants to do that, then the council member will punish the whole pack/clan.” I said to them.
“Even if they have a reason to do that,” elder Tannish asks me.
“It will depend on the reason why they did it. If the council member and the moon goddess find the reason valid and make the decision according to that, and if not, the council member will punish them for their deed,” I said to them.
“What if someone werewolf or vampire kills each other secretly? It would not remain secret for a long time, because there will be eyes who would be watching you all the time, and the next day of it you will receive a letter or a mail from the council for your hearing. If you won’t be present there for your hearing, then you will automatically declare guilty and be punished by them when they get their hand on you,” I explain to them. They asked some more questions, and I answered them all patiently and honestly.
“Any more questions?” I asked them, and they all shook their heads at me.
“If you want to ask any questions regarding this alliance, you can always reach Emma or me. We will be happy to answer to you, even after the council was already formed, ” I said to them.
“Now, let’s come to the main topic, how many of you support this alliance?” I ask them. And I was surprised to see 60% of them support this idea.
“May I know the reason why 40% of you people don’t support this idea?” I ask them. Some of them were still unsure of this idea. Still, I assured them that everything would work out in the end and give them the benefit of the doubt. Some were just too stubborn to let go of their belief that vampires and werewolves could ever be friends. So, with the majority, we decided to form alliances. Now the part comes to making werewolves agree with this alliance.
I sigh and walk inside my room to see lunch is already there on the table. I eat it and get inside the cover to get some rest. The rest of the days go like a blur, with Emma and I discussing other things about the alliance council.
