Though mum isn’t so daft, but she acted too slow. I couldn’t wait for her to execute her plan, so I explored the building and found a rogue. I hid from the rogue but it knew I was around already. When the rogue came to the open room to find me, I had left there and gone outside, that same place mum said to drive through so I get in the car but rather, a different car conveyed me to school.
Now in the car, the driver requests that I keep quiet so everything goes smoothly. He’s masked and there’s no else in the car, aside I and him. I clutch my backpack to myself and other piece of luggage, unable to pack them inside the boot.
As we reach a certain junction, we are supposed to cross to other side of the road but the driver keeps driving straight down, raising suspicions. My heart begins to throb. Did I get into another trouble? I just couldn’t wait for mum, she should know I wouldn’t have waited. She could have requested that one of her werewolves drive the car to that particular spot so she gets in and I get in, and the werewolf returns to the pack.
“Sir, that’s not…” I stammer but he points a gun at my head suddenly. Tension heightens when I realize someone is right behind me – in the boot. Did he kidnap me? I don’t bother to ask, not to trigger him to pull the trigger.
Fortunately for me, he drives me to my school. He just didn’t want anyone to teach him his work. As I alight from the car, I intend to appreciate him or at least, know who helped me but he zooms off, while I capture the plate number with my cellphone. I decide to give mum a ring, before worry gets the bad side of her; before Alec begins to threaten her with words. She doesn’t take the call, so I decide to send a text message and when my airtime exhausts, I walk into the school, hoping to contact her through social media.
I’m met by Annabella, a girl I had been eyeing since I started high school. We’re same age, same grade, similiar interest. She’s a beautiful, gorgeous and brilliant girl, desired my most male werewolves. I have my way if I still need to have her. I feel timid when I think about requesting for a hug when we get closer.
“Hey Jack” She greets before I say a word. A tingling sensation fills my bones as I almost freeze up, overwhelmed by the smiles on her cute lips. I move closer to her, and give her a peck on her chin, not hesistating any further. She pulls me into a tight hug, and whisper dangerous words into my ears.
“You just incurred the wrath of the Alpha. Good luck on whatever you face”
Upon saying that, she walks out on me without looking back. I quickly find my way to my hostel to drop my stuff before returning to class. Jake doesn’t have his scent yet neither do I – I could have found him easily. I heard twins can’t hide scents from themselves.
“Jack, what’s new?!” Dylan screams from upstairs. He’s noticed me already. Within a second, he reaches downstairs, helping me with my luggage. He’s a vampire indeed. Gosh, I detest vampires, but I still have a little affection for the female ones. I release my luggage but hold him back before he disappears with it.
“Do you know my room? Or can you make me whoosh like that as well?” I inquire.
“Room 34 in the male hostel. Ain’t Jake your roomie? I know you both. Meet me there.” And then he goes swiftly in air, leaving me behind. I scoot my feet to the hostel and when I reach there, everything begins to black out.
It was noon when I started approaching the hostel, how come I can’t really see anything now? Is this the work of a vampire?
Someone suddenly throttles my neck, pinning me to the wall as another person turns on the switch. It’s Jake. I heave a sigh of relief. They had covered the windows with thick clothes, the door shut and the lights off. No wonder.
“Jake!” I scream his name to save me from the guy throttling my neck but he only shrugs, returning to his bed to resume his coffee. I kick the guy’s groin and he groans, releasing me from the tight grip. That’s a strategy that has always worked for me. Should I start ignoring my twin brother now? He doesn’t act mature enough.
I knock my fist on his forehead, prompting his aggression, “I was greeting you but you couldn’t say a word. How dumb my twin can be.”
“To be forewarned is to be forearmed.” He whispers in return but I drop my backpack and luggage, and walk out of the room to go see my girls. Jake also relates with girls, but he does so in a low-key manner, unlike me.
I want to enable my wolf’s eyes like dad: Alex or Dominic? Momma won’t even be truthful. I’m going to be fourteen anytime soon though, and I look forward to training my wolf before eighteen, maybe the moon goddess can favor me so I shift under the full moon before eighteen years. I’ve heard a lot of heartbreaking stories of mates getting rejected and I would never want that to happen to me, hence the relationship between many girls in school. I scoot my feet over to the restroom, I’m sure some of my girls would be present there, they frequently visit the place. I sit on the settee not too far from the restroom, expecting one of them to come out. But a certain sound calls my attention, prompting me to spring up and observe what it is. I place my ears on the door, but I can’t hear the sound anymore. As Ieave, I begin to hear it again. Does this mean I only hear things afar off?
Oh no, I’ve been focusing on the male restroom. The female restroom is right behind me and that’s where the sound is coming from. I hurry to the doorstep to hear it well. I freeze up when I squint my eyes to see Tiana being fucked by a strong male wolf in my grade, same department.
Tiana recently vowed to be my girlfriend and love me with her whole heart, but she’s being fucked? She can’t be more than fifteen years of age – is she doing this to make ends meet or she was coerced? I remain seated on the settee as different thoughts flood my mind and I can’t wait to angrily express my disappointment at her infidelity.
When both of them wobble out of the restroom, I glare at the guy and my memory clicks. No other word than, “flee!”
