If asked who enjoyed the ongoing household drama the most, it would undoubtedly be Kairos.
Since earlier, he had been silent, occasionally chuckling. He simply observed how Julia foolishly tried to defend herself. It was clear to him that she was caught red-handed in the act of adultery, with evidence strewn about and presented directly before their eyes.
For God’s sake, Kairos also repeatedly expressed gratitude. He was delighted because one by one, the plans he had laid out so far had been executed successfully. If, after being shown ample evidence, Edward still denied it and ultimately forgave Julia, don’t blame Kairos for ending his friend’s life.
However, Kairos clearly heard Edward mentioning divorce. It could be guaranteed that this time, Julia and Edward’s relationship was truly beyond repair.

“Are you deaf? Edward clearly said he doesn’t want to be with you anymore.”
“Be quiet, you!” Julia snapped at Kairos. Ah, from the beginning, Julia had never gotten along with Edward’s friend. “You have no right to interfere in my marital affairs.”
“Do I need your permission? Besides, a big fact like this needs to be revealed.”
Julia shook her head repeatedly. Once again, she looked closely at Edward.
“For God’s sake, I’m not lying, Darling,” Julia tried to convince him. “This is the first time I and Aaron have made love.” Then, Julia turned to Aaron. She stared at him sharply, throwing a question while also seeking support from him. “Aaron, explain to Edward. We’ve only made love for the first time today, right? And what we did today was purely accidental.”
“No, Julia. You need to be honest. We’ve actually made love several times and enjoyed each other’s company,” Aaron’s unexpected words, rather than a defense, came out of his mouth. With nonchalance, he revealed what had truly been happening between him and Julia all along.
Julia felt cornered. Once again, she tried to defend herself.
“That’s not true!” Then, she looked sharply at Aaron again. “Why are you talking nonsense?”
Aaron seemed relaxed in his response.
“I’m not talking nonsense. This is the truth.”
“You’ve gone too far! You deliberately undermine my position.”
“Forgive me, Julia. But I have to reveal this truth.”
Julia shook her head in disbelief. She still couldn’t believe that Aaron would stoop so low as to bring her into such trouble. Just a few hours ago, he promised to help her. He even offered to assist and protect her when she was in trouble. But why was the reality different now?
“You’ve really gone too far, Aaron.”
“That’s enough…” Kairos spoke up again. “There’s no need to seek justification. Besides, no one will help you. Aaron is obliged to convey the truth about what has been happening. After all, I’ve paid him dearly to help expose all of this.”

Julia was shocked to the core. She never expected that Kairos was the director behind this grand drama that was unfolding before them.
Aaron himself couldn’t forget the events from some time ago. He was also surprised when suddenly visited by the man he knew as Julia’s husband’s friend.
“Can I talk to you privately?”
Initially, Aaron wanted to refuse. After all, he didn’t want to have anything to do with a stranger.
“I’m busy.”
“But I have a good offer for you,” Kairos said convincingly. “And if you refuse, I assure you that you will regret it for the rest of your life.”
Curious, Aaron finally agreed. He allowed Kairos to sit down and then state his purpose and intentions.
“I know that you and Julia have had a relationship beyond just manager and talent, haven’t you? I also know that Julia has been sleeping and making love with you for the past year?”
Aaron was surprised. Trying to keep his composure, he responded to Kairos’s words calmly.
“You must be mistaken.”
Kairos shook his head. Then, he showed his phone to show a video recording of Aaron and Julia being affectionate.
“You can’t deny that the man and woman in this video are you and Julia, can you? Just so you know, I still have plenty of evidence showing your intimacy.”
Aaron swallowed his saliva. He couldn’t deny it at all.
“What do you actually want from me?”
Kairos smiled.
“I just want to invite you to work together.”
“To work together?” Aaron looked puzzled.
“Yes. Collaborate to expose Julia’s wickedness behind her husband’s back. Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to do it for nothing. I’ll give you a substantial reward.”
Then, Kairos took out a check from his suit pocket. He wrote a sum of money on it and handed it to Aaron.
“I think this reward is worth what you’ll be doing. If you refuse, I swear I’ll make your life meaningless.”
Hearing the threat, Aaron accepted the check given by Kairos. Looking at the amount written on it, his eyes widened. He never expected to be given such a fantastic amount of money.
“So, what do I have to do?” Aaron asked later.
“You just need to provide information about Julia and do what I command.”
“That’s it?”
Kairos nodded.
“It’s that simple, isn’t it?”
“Alright. I’ll do as you command.”
Because of this reward, Aaron suddenly became Kairos’s informant. He helped provide reports on what Julia was doing out there. Whether it was working or spending time with Santiago.

“You both trapped me!” Julia shouted again. Her frustration had reached its peak. “Look, Edward. This is all part of your friend’s scheme. Kairos did this on purpose so that you and I—”
“Stop it, Julia!” Edward shouted. His face showed intense anger. He was no longer willing to listen to all the defenses Julia was making. “I don’t want to hear anything from you anymore. I’ll arrange our divorce immediately.”
“No.” Julia shook her head in disagreement. “You can’t divorce me.”
“Do you think I’m crazy enough to want to keep our marriage?”
“What about our baby’s fate, Darling? Are you heartless enough to let your child live without a father’s love?”
Edward laughed.
“My child? You’re calling it my child? Why not ask Santiago to take responsibility instead? Isn’t the baby in your belly the result of the relationship you’ve been having with Santiago all along?”
Julia was stunned. She was shocked to find out that Edward also knew about her relationship with Santiago.
“Edward… I can explain—”
“Enough, Julia! Stop your babbling. I saw and heard for myself that you admitted the baby in your belly is the result of your relationship with Santiago. That’s why I’m asking you to pack your things immediately. And wait, my lawyer will take care of our divorce as soon as possible. I’ll make sure this divorce process is completed quickly.”
Then, Edward left. Followed by Kairos afterwards. Meanwhile, Julia could only sit there, feeling drained. While sobbing, screaming, lamenting the unfortunate fate that kept hitting her relentlessly.
