When he suddenly spotted Jeremy, Credence stared at him silently as the elevator climbed up.
He had short dark hair, a knife-like gaze, and a cigar between his thin lips. He looked like a ruffian. Wilson stood behind him and was dressed in black. He looked murderous. One could tell with a single glance that he wasn’t a good man.
Wherever he went, passers-by would avoid or run from him in all directions.
When Credence looked at Jeremy, Jeremy noticed him as well. He strode over and examined Credence. He sighed with a “D*mn, even though you’re injured so badly, you aren’t dead yet. What a tough life you have.”
“I didn’t die, thanks to your advice.”
Credence remained calm and showed no emotions. He looked at him with an obscure glint in his eyes and said with a faint smile, “Jeremy, two days ago, when you and Germaine were messing around, that must have been your first time, right? Germaine almost lost her life.”
Jeremy comfortably smoked his cigar. When he heard that last sentence, he could no longer contain the evil expression on his face. He spat out the cigar from his mouth and smiled lazily at Credence. “F*ck, Mr. Scott, how dare you meddle in my affairs. Are you jealous of my endurance? Have you been so badly hurt by Melanie that you are now impotent and can’t get any pleasure from a woman?”
He was deeply aggravated by the words “first time”, Jeremy lowered his head, took another cigar from Wilson, took two puffs from it, and spat out a cloud of white smoke. Then, he narrowed his eyes and said coldly, “Mr. Scott, if you really are impotent, then let me know, so as to not waste Dorothy’s life.”
His ruthlessness could scare someone to death.
Wilson was affected by this. He was so scared that he took two steps back. However, his eyes fell towards Jeremy’s lower half. He had the urge to gossip.
So it seemed that this wasn’t just Germaine’s first time, it was his as well!
Oh sh*t, this was such huge news. As an onlooker, Wilson found it hard to digest the information he had just heard.
“There is no need for you to be concerned about my affairs with my wife.”
Credence looked at him with his dangerous eyes and said coldly, “I have only one condition for you. Please stop plotting against me and my father from now on. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind letting the entire world know that you stayed a virgin until your 30’s.”
“Credence! You, how dare you!”
Jeremy didn’t expect Credence, who seemed so mature and reserved, to use this information to force him to give up the hatred he had for the Scott family. What a shameless man!
His eyes were as fierce as a wolf’s, and they flashed with killing intent. He irritably crushed the cigar in his hand with his knuckles. For some reason, he felt like his life was a f*cking joke.
He had been invincible in Jenciga and Talco City for so many years. Not a single man was strong enough to cause him trouble. In the end, he was subdued by Credence with such a shady trick.
What was even more infuriating was that he couldn’t afford to be embarrassed.
“Okay, Credence, you’ve got guts, I’ll give you that.”
Jeremy took two more steps forward and stood even closer to Credence’s wheelchair. Half of his face was hidden in the shadow, and his livid face was filled with murderous intent. He ground his teeth and said, “F*cking hell, tell me something. When did you know that I was related to that b*stard of an old man, Sheldon?”
When Wilson heard his boss insulting Sheldon in front of his biological son, his eyelids twitched wildly. The only thought in his mind was that when his boss was headstrong, there would be no limits to his anger.
As a dutiful assistant whose responsibility was cleaning up his boss’ mess, he felt somewhat fatigued.
Wilson blinked his eyes and turned around to look at Credence who was leaning lazily in his wheelchair without a blank look on his face.
Even though his boss was standing up straight, Wilson felt that Credence, who was shorter because of the wheelchair, was more imposing than his boss. What the hell?
Perhaps it was because he was younger than Credence, therefore he was inferior to Credence?
That’s right, his boss always liked to talk nonsense. He was really inferior to Credence in terms of charm and gentlemanly demeanor.
“If it weren’t for that d*mned old man, where would you have come from?”
Credence’s face was steely, there was no trace of shock on his face. He glanced at Jeremy and said calmly, “I just found out about your identity a while ago. Let’s just forget about the past.”
“Since we’re family, if we continue to fight and plot against each other, we will only be a joke in the eyes of others.”
“Once Belle’s bone marrow transplant surgery is finished and she’s recovered, let’s have a few drinks as a way for me to express my gratitude to you. You sent Rosalie to Juelz. Strictly speaking, you are the one who saved Belle’s life, thank you.”
If Jeremy was a nobody, he could think of at least a thousand ways to retaliate against him.
Even if he couldn’t kill Jeremy, he would be able to destroy at least half of his men.
However, as of now, not only was this person related to him by blood, he was also related to Dorothy. Credence couldn’t harm his men. He even had to cover up all the bad deeds he had done in Jenciga for him. What the hell!
Jeremy stood where he was with a blank look on his face. After listening to Credence, he was still expressionless. He squinted his eyes and smiled wickedly, “Mr. Scott, I am just a seed that old b*stard, Sheldon, shot out from his body. It has nothing to do with me being a legitimate young master like you. I didn’t save Belle out of respect for you or that old b*stard. I just looked at Belle’s face and somehow, it felt like I was looking at myself.”
“Oh, by the way, I heard that the old man is about to wake up. It might happen in a day or two, please help me deliver a message, Mr. Scott. If the old man still doesn’t recognize me as his son, I will consider him a dead parent! I will personally seek him out, and I will make him regret it.”
So what if his parents never loved him?
You only live once. As long as he was shameless and cruel enough, then he wouldn’t need anyone’s help.
He would respond, an eye for an eye, no matter what it was. He would live life harder than anyone else would!
Sensing his tough attitude, Credence didn’t waste any more time talking. He turned the wheel of his wheelchair and slowly moved towards the elevator door.
When he reached the fourth floor, he saw Dorothy walking towards him. Germaine was beside her, she was holding Belle in her arms.
Belle was fast asleep. She was lying in Germaine’s arms with her head tilted to the side.
The two women were talking and laughing from time to time, and it seemed like they were in a good mood.
After a few attempts, Credence’s hands had reached their limits, he had no strength left. He stopped at the elevator for a short rest, while he waited for them to come over.
