Chapter 357 You Will Never Understand Her Pain

Marvin and Jonathan found an attending doctor and asked him to arrange the most stable and comfortable wheelchair immediately. This was so that they could push Credence, who could not move, to the corridor outside Dorothy’s ward.
“No, I won’t agree! This is simply an irresponsible thing towards Mr. Scott’s health.”
The attending doctor frowned, “Mr. Scott’s condition is critical. His illness is caused by internal complications. It is very serious, especially his blood vessels in his brain. One wrong move, and the whole situation will worsen. I was thinking of doing an MRI on Mr. Scott when he recovers a little bit of his strength tomorrow so that I could make a new report on the condition of the brain nerves in his skull.”
Hearing the doctor’s words, all three of them had an urge to give up, especially Jonathan. He frowned badly. “Credence, why don’t you have a good rest first? I’ll send you there after your brain examination tomorrow. You can’t go there now. Dorothy is still undergoing an surgery.”
Credence suddenly grabbed Marvin’s wrist and stared at him coldly, insisting, “I said, bring me there now.”
Marvin turned his head and saw the look of disagreement on the attending doctor’s face. He looked back at Credence, who looked half-dead. He couldn’t help shouting, “F*ck, Credence, stop being so obstinate! The doctor already said that you can’t be moved, and you’ll die if you do!”
“I am her man, and she is on the verge of death. I must… I must accompany her.”
Credence closed his eyes. With the support of his right hand on Marvin’s wrist, he struggled to get up from the hospital bed. His chest and brain hurt so much that he almost could not bear it. However, he pursed his lips tightly and suppressed the blood that was threatening to spat out of his mouth.
If he spat out this mouthful of blood, Marvin, the attending physicians, and everyone else would definitely ask him to stay in the hospital bed to rest. None of them would allow him to move at all.
However, Dorothy was lying unconsciously on the operating table because of his mistakes, her status unknown. How could he just lie here calmly, unable to do anything for her?
The attending doctor lowered his head to monitor Credence’s vitals. When he heard the movement, he quickly ran over to stop Credence from getting out of bed. He greatly opposed this. “Mr. Scott, please cooperate with our treatment. If you continue to do this, the blood vessels in your brain will be clogged and blocked. By that time, even the gods can’t save you.”
Credence ignored the words of the attending doctor and just cast a cold look at Marvin. He said in a low, hoarse voice with stubborn insistence, “Marvin, you know me. I won’t give up until I get what I want.”
When faced with a reckless man like that, what else could Marvin say?
He turned towards the attending doctor and said with a heavy sigh. “Here’s the thing. Credence’s wife is having a surgery as well, and he is worried about her. He must go there and check on her. Is there any way you can satisfy both sides? A way for Credence to achieve his goals without affecting his condition.”
The attending doctor also sighed deeply. “What else can we do? We can only get someone to push the hospital bed, push him, as well as the instruments. But, you must monitor these instruments at all times. Once there is an alarm, you must inform me immediately.”
“Okay, we’ll keep an eye on him.”
The three men and the attending doctors finally decided the most feasible method. After that, Marvin and the nurses pushed Credence, while Jonathan and Benjamin pushed the instruments while staring at the screens. The group of people left the ward in an orderly manner.
By the time they reached the outside of Dorothy’s emergency room, it was almost five o’clock in the morning.
Juelz sat stiffly on the green lounge chair. He did not see a doctor coming out of the emergency room even after midnight. He was so worried that he dared not close his eyes.
At this moment, when he saw Credence being pushed over in the hospital bed, he couldn’t help feeling taken aback. He widened his eyes in disbelief. “Credence, Dory’s been in there for close to six hours now, and there’s no news on her at all. Are you trying to make yourself look pitiful? Can you be any worse off than Dory? Get the f*ck out of my sight now!”
Seeing the anger in Juelz’s eyes, Credence endured the throbbing pain of the blood in his throat. He looked back at Juelz coldly. “I am here to see my wife. What does that have to do with you? I am grateful for you for taking good care of her and Belle for the past six years, but that does not mean that you can interfere in our matters.”
“Credence, do you think I am willing to interfere? During those four years of marriage, you tortured her so badly. Back then, you treated that real b*tch better. You even cruelly killed the child in her womb and forced her to have a divorce with you. She felt so desperate back then. She had no other choice but to leave to a foreign country. Did you ever fulfill your duties as a husband at all?”
“I will make up for my mistakes myself. I don’t need an outsider like you to nag me.”
“If it were so easy to make up for one’s mistakes, why would we need the police? It’s just like a murderer saying that they regret doing what they need, would that have any f*cking use? The person they murdered would never come back to life, and any wound will leave behind a scar.”
Juelz was so angry that his eyes were bloodshot. He stood up from the chair and clenched his fists. He gritted his teeth and threw a punch at Credence’s chest. “Credence, you will never f*cking understand how many times you’ve hurt her. You have broken her heart countless of times. You will never understand her pain, and you will never feel her pain as well.”
“What if Dory really doesn’t survive this time? Credence, even if I die, I will drag you to hell with me!”
Juelz suddenly attacked Credence, who had just gotten off the operating table and was on the verge of death. Marvin and everyone else was caught off guard by this.
Jonathan walked to one side and smoked. Benjamin was observing various data from the instruments. Only Marvin was close to him. As soon as he turned around, he felt hot liquid spraying in the air.
Bits of blood splashed on his face, neck, and arms, and a horrible smell of blood filled the air.
Jonathan’s hand trembled, and he immediately ran over and shouted, “Juelz, are you f*cking out of your mind?”
Benjamin shouted, “Mr. Scott!”
When Benjamin looked up and saw such a bloody scene, he almost fell to his knees. He quickly put down his pen and notebook and ran towards Credence with Jonathan.
When Marvin saw the blood all over himself, his eyes flashed coldly and he kicked Juelz to the ground, then quickly leaned down to check on Credence, who was twitching with pain.
Blood was still flowing out from the corner of his mouth, and his face was as pale as a corpse. His face was void of any expression, but his lips moved slowly and he mumbled, “Dorothy, my wife, you’ll be fine. You have to be!”
Just when the ward was in chaos, the door of the emergency room was finally pushed open. One of the doctors involved in the operation ran out, covered in the scent of blood. He hurriedly roared, “The patient is suffering from major blood loss, and her heart’s stopped. Whoever’s her family, quickly inform the blood bank!”
