Dorothy raised her head and noticed that Juelz, a man who had always been as handsome as sunshine, had an indescribable dull emotion in his eyes when he handed her a tissue.
“Thank you.”
She accepted the tissue, wiped away the tears, and said in a low voice, “Juelz, to tell you the truth. I don’t know if I can still love Credence without holding any grudges.”
After she thought for a while, she continued, “Ever since I fell into the Talco River and was saved by Jeremy, my heart had always been filled with resentment. As soon as I hear the word ‘Credence’, I want nothing more than to kill him with my own hands.”

“I am not crying for him, nor am I feeling sad for him.”
Dorothy looked at the man who was just as superior as Credence. She saw the tenderness in his eyes and became afraid of seeing the disappointment. She smiled lightly, “Juelz, have you forgotten? I told you before. Once Belle’s illness is cured, I will agree as long as you propose to me. Credence has nothing to do with me.”
“The only use he has for me right now is to help me get pregnant so that I can cure Belle’s illness successfully.”
