Feeling satisfied, Rosalie left the detention room and drove over to Blues Cafe.
Credence had made an appointment at 11 o’clock, and she had ample time to get there.
Ever since she heard that the last little thug had been killed inside the hospital’s operating room, her anxious heart had finally calmed down.
He was already dead, hence he could not testify anymore. So what if Credence had doubts about her?
Rosalie walked out of the elevator, and gracefully made her way to the private room on the top floor. When she passed by a male waiter and looked at his tray of wine and glasses, she felt a jolt in her heart.
“Hold on.”
The male waiter stopped in his tracks and smiled politely, “Miss, may I ask what you need?”
Rosalie found the surveillance camera’s blind spot and took out a stack of bills from her bag, throwing them onto the tray. She said with a cold expression, “I need you to do me a favor.”
“W-what is it?”
The male waiter nervously looked at the stack of money that was estimated to be over a thousand dollars. He then looked nervously at Rosalie and gulped.
After working in this business for a long time, he was very clear that the more money the guests gave, the more dangerous the task would be.
However, as long as it was not a matter of life and death, he was still willing to do what he was told.
Rosalie handed him a small bag of powder from her leather bag, and her initially fierce face suddenly calmed down. She instructed, “Put these into the wine. Remember, do it without any flaws.”
“I understand. It’s a piece of cake.”
The male waiter had done similar jobs before. He calmly took the medicinal powder from Rosalie’s hand and walked into an empty room with a tray. He said, “Miss, please come with me.”
Rosalie did not hesitate at all and followed him in.
Soon, she realized that the male waiter had carefully taken out a delicate and small wine flask from a hidden cabinet in the corner and handed it over to her. He told her with a flattering smile, “Miss, look carefully. I will first put the powder in it and mix it with the wine. I will teach you how to use it after this.”
He carefully explained as he carried out the steps. Rosalie’s intelligence was extraordinary, so she quickly understood how to do it. There was a faint smile on her fair and delicate face.
With such a convenient tool for committing crimes, she would definitely be able to make Credence submit to her. After being drugged, he would be all hers.

Rosalie sat gracefully on the sofa in the private room. She placed a few cherries into her mouth, and swiped on her phone as she waited for Credence’s call.
It did not take long. About fifteen minutes later, the handsome Credence pushed open the carved, hollow door, and sat down on the sofa opposite Rosalie. He folded his long legs and lit a cigarette, but he did not smoke. Instead, he allowed the red sparks to burn between his fingers, and his attitude was elegant and cold.
He was punctual. It was exactly eleven o’clock.
Rosalie had had a chance to be alone with Credence in the past, but she had never been as bold as she was today. She forced a gentle smile as she asked softly, “Credence, why did you ask me out?”
Taking advantage of the gap between their conversation, she stood up from the sofa, opened the wine flask, and poured some wine into the glass in front of Credence. She smiled and fluttered her eyelashes seductively, “Credence, I’m hungry. In order to meet you earlier, I even skipped breakfast! I’ve ordered your favorite whiskey, and a few of your favorite dishes. Let’s eat as we talk.”
Looking at the silver wine flask held by Rosalie’s slender fingers, Credence retreated his gaze with a poker face. He frowned and said, “The case of Dorothy intending to kill you will be brought to court next Monday. By then, as her sister, I hope you can pardon her. In return, I will give the Fisher Group some benefits afterwards.”
Dorothy!
Once again, it was about Dorothy!
Rosalie was instantly filled with jealousy and hatred as she bit her lips, not saying a single word.
She was afraid… so afraid that once she made a sound, she would wildly yell at Credence.
Back then, even when he had been by Dorothy’s side, most of their topics revolved around Dorothy.
In order to show her gentleness, consideration, and understanding; in order to become his woman, she had suppressed her arrogant personality, and obediently talked about Dorothy’s story from her childhood till adulthood again and again.
He had not grown tired of listening to Dorothy’s stories being repeated over and over again. However, in truth, she had long been sick of the word ‘Dorothy’.
Now, even after he and Dorothy were divorced, and she was even bearing Juelz’s child, he still could not forget about Dorothy!
Rosalie forced a weak smile as she responded, “Credence, I’ve already thought about what you’ve said. Even if you didn’t ask me to do so today, I would still stand by my sister’s side and speak for her.”
“No matter the circumstances, she is my sister, and she is part of my family. How can I just let her be punished and sent to jail?”
Regardless of whether Rosalie was being sincere or not, at least in that very moment, Credence could not see nor feel any bit of grievance or uncomfortableness in her expression.
Credence raised his head slightly and shot her a cold and sharp look, “Tell me, what are your conditions?”
“Credence, my conditions are…”
Rosalie picked up the cup of wine with both hands and walked around the table to Credence. A smile blossomed on her face as she placed the cup against his lips. She said, “My conditions are very simple. All I want is for you to drink this glass of wine.”
Credence stared at the wine in the transparent glass and remained silent for a moment. His perfect facial features did not show the slightest bit of emotion, “Did you add anything into it?”
“Credence, what are you talking about? I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.”
Rosalie paused, and a hint of bitterness flashed across her eyes. Then, she smiled softly, “You don’t trust me? Then, I’ll drink it for you to see.”
After that, she raised her head high and gulped down the glass of wine. She drank it until the glass was empty.
After finishing the wine, Rosalie gently twirled the empty cup and pointed at the other untouched cup. She then said in a gentle voice, “Credence, it’s your turn.”
Credence narrowed his eyes and did not move. He stretched his long arm out, and held the flask in his hand. He looked at it casually and noticed a very hidden and inconspicuous little red dot at the mouth of the flagon. A hint of cruelness flashed across his eyes.
When Rosalie was not paying attention, he touched the glass with his slender index finger, and then poured the fragrant wine into an empty glass. He poured it until the glass was about one-third full. He then lifted the cup with another hand, indicating for Rosalie to finish the whole cup, and said coldly, “I will believe you after you finish drinking this!”
At that moment, Rosalie had been wiping her dress, as it had been stained with a little wine, so her head was lowered. As a result, she had not noticed Credence’s actions. After hearing his words, she picked up the glass with joy and smiled at the man whom she deeply loved, “Credence, I will be willing to drink the wine you’ve poured for me even if it is poisoned.”
Seeing her swallow it in small mouthfuls, Credence’s gaze gradually turned sharp.
This woman was actually bold enough to play such tricks in front of him. How naïve of her!
After Rosalie finished drinking, her mind was no longer clear, and she could feel her body getting hotter and hotter.
When she remembered the wine that had been mixed with the power from her bag, she suddenly grew shocked.
Could Credence have already discovered the secret behind the silver flask?
She suddenly raised her head and looked at the man sitting on the sofa with a pale face. From his dark eyes, Rosalie could see his undisguised ridicule, and she suddenly panicked.
Oh no!
He knew. He knew everything.
She felt as if tens of thousands of ants were crawling in her blood, and her body felt more and more uncomfortable. At once, Rosalie realized that she had been tricked. She looked at Credence as she begged for mercy, “Credence, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do it. It’s just that I love you too much, I only want to be your woman…”
“Credence, please save me. Please forgive me. I won’t do it, I won’t do it ever again!”
Her body was itching so hard that she could not stand it anymore. The last bit of her sanity told her that Credence would not do as she pleaded. Rosalie panicked. Her soft body slid along the edge of the tea table and fell on the cold floor, and she started to cry miserably.
She had tried to scheme against Credence only to end up being exposed. She could already imagine the consequences of her actions.
“It’s too late,” Credence’s handsome face was indifferent as his ruthless gaze swept across Rosalie’s beautiful body. He laughed coldly, “I’ve given you a great gift. Enjoy it to the fullest!”
As soon as he finished his words, he turned around and left, slamming the door shut.
Rosalie cried out in pain, “Credence, come back! Please come back!”
However, she could not manage to call the cruel man to come back. The heating from the air conditioner in the room was warm, but she was trembling with fear.
