Chapter 65 Willing to Do Anything for You

It was twelve o’clock in the morning. Juelz used his hands to cover his crotch which was severely injured. He was gnashing his teeth and cursing angrily. Suddenly, he received a phone call from Dorothy. He was shocked at first, and then he grew extremely ecstatic.
“Dory, you’ve finally made up your mind to leave that b*stard! That’s great. I’ll buy some fireworks to celebrate!”
After that, he no longer cared about his physical inconvenience. He jumped off the bed and put on his jeans and T-shirt before leaving the room. He got into his car and drove to Dorothy’s place.
Juelz rushed to the gate of the villa where Dorothy was living in. After parking his car, he got out of his car and saw that Dorothy was carrying a black suitcase. She walked toward him slowly and silently.
“My dear Dory, I’m here.”
Juelz raised his hands in the air and waved them enthusiastically. He rushed up to meet Dorothy.
“Juelz, I didn’t expect you to arrive so soon. Did you run the red light again?”
Dorothy was stunned to see that Juelz had arrived twenty minutes earlier than expected.
“I couldn’t wait to see you. Running the red light is not a big deal at all. Get in the car, and give me your suitcase.”
Juelz opened the car boot and placed her suitcase into it. He suddenly grinned, “Dory, you’re still using the birthday present I gave you. It’s been almost eleven years. I remember I bought it with all the money I had the year you saved me.”
“Yes, it’s from you.”
Dorothy’s clear gaze fell on the black suitcase and a faint smile greeted her lips.
She was a nostalgic and grateful person. Juelz would never know that it was the first gift she had received in the past fifteen years.
That was why she kept it carefully.
In the Fisher Mansion, her birthday had always been forgotten. No one had ever thought of preparing a birthday gift for her. Hence, even a simple pen or notebook could make her happy.
At least, it indicated that not everyone was deliberately ignoring her existence.
Dorothy could feel the warmth of a true friendship after she met Juelz and befriended Germaine.
Without them, she might not have enough courage to live through those miserable and pathetic years.
After getting into the car, Dorothy rolled down the window. Looking at the luxurious villa, she fell into a daze.
“Credence Scott, finally, all the disputes between us are over tonight!” Dorothy thought to herself.

In the ICU of the hospital, Rosalie woke up. The sky was overcast with dark clouds. The gale was blustering and it seemed like the eve of a storm.
There was a cold and grim figure of a man standing in front of the window, staring at the scenery outside the window. He stood unmovingly for a long time.
Rosalie didn’t know if it was an illusion caused by her guilt. She could sense that Credence was not in a good mood.
If he really cared about Rosalie, he should be happy knowing that the transplant surgery was very successful.
However, at that moment, Credence’s face was as cool as a cucumber. There was no hint of happiness on his face.
Was it because of Dorothy again?
“Credence,” Rosalie coughed a few times before calling out his name in a soft voice.
When Credence heard her, he turned around and walked toward her. He stood beside the bed, and his bitter expression eased a little. “How do you feel?”
“Good. It’s just that the effect of the anesthesia has subsided and the surgical wound hurts.”
Rosalie propped herself up on the bed with her hands. She grabbed Credence’s hand and said while gasping for breath, “I know my body very well. I’m feeling much better now. My body’s recovery takes time. Thank you for helping me find a kidney that is compatible with my body and accompanying me throughout the operation last night. It must be very exhausting. Go back and take a good rest. It’s quite late now. I don’t want to be misunderstood by Dorothy.”
Rosalie raised her head slowly and smiled at Credence. Her lips curled into a tender smile.
“I don’t want you to be in a dilemma because of me in front of my sister.”
“Don’t think too much. You just had a major operation. Have a good rest.”
Credence removed Rosalie’s grip on his hand. He was about to hold her shoulder to lay her down. However, Rosalie suddenly placed her soft arms around his neck. Her small face that was pale due to the operation leaned against his chest and she silently sobbed.
“I really didn’t mean to snatch you away from my sister. I just… just love you too much. I won’t fall in love with anyone other than you!”
As she spoke, she tightened her arms around his neck, “You don’t have to get a divorce. I don’t want a status. I don’t want anything. I’m willing to be your lover, become your woman, and enjoy staying with someone I love.”
“Hence, I can be with you without hurting Dorothy.”
Credence didn’t move at all. He pushed Rosalie’s body away with no expression on his face. After a long moment of silence, he frowned and said, “Nonsense! Same as Dorothy, I only regard you as my sister.”
What the hell did he mean by that?
Rosalie’s entire body stiffened for a while and she almost lost her mind out of anger. Fortunately, she was able to regain her rationality at that critical moment. She raised her head and looked at Credence’s mesmerizing face. Her eyes were filled with tears. However, she quickly blinked them away and flashed a faint smile.
“Credence, you got it wrong. I’m not your biological sister, so I have the right and opportunity to love you. I’m willing to do anything for you. I have no regrets, even if my reputation gets tarnished or I become your mistress all my life.”
As she said this, she wanted to hold his hand again. But Credence inadvertently avoided it and then moved two meters away from her. His deep gaze fell on Rosalie’s face, “Two years ago, why did you send a message to Dorothy using my phone, asking her to pass the birthday present to my father right away?”
After his father fell from the balcony and became a vegetative patient, Credence’s mind was initially filled with anger and disappointment. Under the accusation of all his servants, he insisted that it was Dorothy who had pushed his father from the balcony.
Later, he accidentally discovered that Dorothy had received a message from his phone. Dorothy did what was instructed in the message, and it triggered the series of nightmares that followed.
However, he was not the one who sent that message.
At that time, Rosalie had borrowed his phone.
He thought that it was a coincidence. However, at the moment, after pondering about it carefully, he realized that these were not coincidences.
“Credence, are you suspicious of me?”
Rosalie paused and her outstretched hand stopped in mid-air. In an instant, her long eyelashes were wet with tears and she sobbed softly, “At that time, your relationship with my sister had turned sour. When I saw you and my sister being unhappy every day, I felt sad too.”
“After that, I heard that Dorothy had specially prepared a very unique gift for uncle. I thought that if my sister could get along with Mr. Sheldon, he could help to improve your relationship. Hence, I secretly sent that message to Dorothy using your phone.”
“I’m sorry. If I knew that Mr. Sheldon would fall from the balcony, I would never joke with my sister like that.”
Credence looked at Rosalie who was crying so sadly she was almost out of breath. A gleam flashed in his eyes and he didn’t say anything in the end.
Since they got married, the relationship between Dorothy and him had not been harmonious at all.
Every time Dorothy did something crazy to show her affection for him, he figured that it was because she had suffered a lot of contempt and unfair treatment in the Fisher family. Credence felt that everything he did to her the night before were out of benevolence.
Even if Dorothy loved him…
That was based on the fact that she wanted to take revenge on the Fisher family and Rosalie.
After thinking for a while, Credence’s gaze fell on Rosalie’s abdomen which was bandaged with layers of bandages. In there used to be a kidney that had been stabbed by Dorothy with a dagger. At that moment, another kidney had been transplanted into her abdomen.
However, the transplanted organ would never replace the original one, even if it was compatible.
If he had only managed to find the kidney two days later, Rosalie would likely lose her life.
Rosalie, who didn’t harbor any complaints, had caused Credence to feel a sense of guilt that he had never felt before.
He raised his hand and patted her shoulder. Then he said slowly, “Have a good rest. Call me if you need anything.”
“Credence, don’t worry about me. I’ll take good care of myself. My mom will come later. Drive safely on your way back.”
Credence nodded slightly. He turned around and walked out of the ICU.
Staring at the man’s back, Rosalie angrily swept the cup on the table to the floor. She almost lost her mind because of her anger.
