“No, Credence, let me go!”
The humiliating scene that day suddenly crossed Dorothy’s mind. Her face became pale instantly, and her body was shaking like a leaf.
With teary eyes, she stared at the familiar yet alien man in front of her. “What do you want me to do so that you’d let me go?”
Was he the mature and reserved gentleman whom she had fallen head over heels with?
“Not unless you die on behalf of Rosalie!”
Dorothy looked up at Credence’s handsome face in bewilderment.
She blinked hard against her tears and closed her eyes with a gentle smile.
It was just a simple sentence, but it plunged her into the abyss mercilessly.
The distance between them was so close, and her soft breasts were tightly pressed against his chest. However, Dorothy felt a bone-chilling cold.
She gave up struggling and lowered her head to hide her despair.
Credence did not hear her sobs. He did not know if she was crying or not. But when he saw her keeping her head low and shaking uncontrollably without a sound, he suddenly felt a sense of pity for her.
His sharp and dangerous eyes swept across her slender and curvy body…
Dorothy’s beige dress was torn into pieces. Inside, she was only wearing a white thong. At a glance, he could vaguely see the private part between her legs…
Thinking about her charm in bed, his Adam’s apple bobbed uncontrollably.
However, when he looked through the transparent glass window and saw Rosalie, who was lying motionless on the operating table in the next room, his pity disappeared again.
He grasped Dorothy’s chin. Staring at her, he couldn’t hide the cruelty and rage. “Can you see that? Rosalie is still lying there, fighting for her life. You almost killed her, and yet you are still hooking up with Juelz. Do you feel satisfied watching him fight with me because of you?”
“I did not hook up with Juelz, nor did I do anything to Rosalie. Why wouldn’t you believe me? You never trust me!”
Dorothy’s face was ashen. Enduring the excruciating pain radiating from her chin, she lifted her head and met his gaze furiously.
She could calmly accept the fact that he did not love her, but she could not tolerate him accusing her over and over again.
Credence sneered. His cold voice echoed in Dorothy’s ears again.
“How can I trust you? Ever since you married me until now, you have not cut off ties with Juelz Sherman. I did not say anything before because I’ve never loved you. I don’t f*cking care! But you know that I care about Rosalie, yet you hired those b*stards to rape her in the parking lot… Dorothy Fisher, you really deserve to die!”
Credence closed his eyes solemnly and then opened them again. He loosened his grip on Dorothy’s chin and grabbed her hair instead. He then let out an evil smirk, saying, “I consider myself a gentleman. I’ve never hit a woman before. But you have crossed the line again and again. You even have the nerve to harm your sister who grew up with you. What else don’t you dare do?”
“There is a limit to how shameless you can be! Since you like to play dirty, I’ll let you reap what you sow!”
His voice was as attractive and charming as ever, one which could make all women fall for him instantly.
However, Dorothy did not find his voice pleasing to her ears at all. On the contrary, it made her hair stand on end.
“No, no! Let me go! Please… I beg you…”
The next moment, Credence tore off her remaining white thong. A grimace of pain flashed across Dorothy’s pale face.
She could endure all his humiliation, shouting, and physical attack toward her. However, she could not accept his cruel remarks. His words were like a dagger piercing through her heart, making her heart bleed.
Dorothy did not know who Rosalie had offended for her to end up this way, but he was putting the blame on her.
Rosalie had been raped. Hence, he was going to do the same to her….
Heh!
It seemed that he really loved Rosalie!
Deep down, Dorothy told herself, “It’s just a man who doesn’t love you. It’s not a big deal to lose him. Be strong. Hang on and don’t cry! If no one loves you, you can just love yourself!”
Although she told herself to be strong, she couldn’t stop her tears from flowing down her cheeks.
Her tears were scalding hot, but her heart was as cold as ice.
While she was in a trance, she felt Credence’s hand sliding from her collarbone all the way down to her lace bra…
She was fully aware that he was trying to humiliate her, and that her body should not react to it at all.
Despite that, she could not hold back the passion she had only for him!
He caressed her sensitive part casually. In an instant, she melted beneath his touch. Her fair skin gradually turned to a charming pale pink.
When she snapped back to reality, Credence had already retracted his fingers. There were no emotions in his eyes at all. The only thing she could see in his eyes was an ice-cold, bone-piercing mockery.
He slowly pulled himself away from her and stared at her flushed face condescendingly. There was no warmth in his eyes as he said, “I can’t believe that you’re turned on with just a touch. How slutty! Did Juelz fail to satisfy your desire?”
He still could not come to terms with the fact that she had stayed in Juelz’s villa for three nights!
“To you, am I such a shameless woman?”
Dorothy was stunned momentarily before raising her head to look at Credence, who was more terrifying than a demon. Her mouth curled into a smile, and then, she slowly burst into tears.
He did not thrust himself into her directly. However, his ruthless words brought her even more pain and humiliation.
Perhaps, in his eyes, she was just a shameless b*tch…
She could not believe that he was a man she had been deeply in love with for ten years.
She was absolutely blinded by love!
At this moment, her hatred for him had almost reached its peak.
Although her face was pale, her watery eyes glimmered with an astonishing light. Staring calmly at Credence, she let out a faint smile. “Let’s get a divorce. Loving you has been so tiring and hurtful. I don’t want… I don’t want to love you anymore!”
She would stop loving him from now onward!
By letting him go, it was a form of release for herself too.
Dorothy was clearly within his reach, but at this moment, it seemed that they were worlds apart.
Credence fixed his eyes on her maliciously. “It’s not up to you to decide to love me or not!”
“It’s up to who then? You? Or Rosalie?”
Dorothy had shed too many tears that her eyes were stinging. She slowly closed her eyes and said, “Can I exchange my life for a divorce with you?”
She had lost her child, and everything.
In this world, there was no one that she cared for, nor there was anyone who cared for her.
What was the difference between being alive and dead?
Suddenly, Credence refused to take another look at her, and even more so, he did not want to hear those shocking words coming out of her mouth.
“Do you think that showing me your weakness will make me go easy on you?”
As his voice rang out, Dorothy’s chest tightened.
Realizing his intentions, she was freaked out. She began to struggle frantically, shouting, “No! Don’t touch me! Since you don’t love me, why are you still doing this to me?”
“You will never have the right to say no as long as I’m here!”
Along with her scream, he leaned over and entered her…
Dorothy’s body was still extremely weak due to her miscarriage. She was in so much pain that her whole body convulsed uncontrollably. Her huge, blank eyes were wide open as she endured his insane torture.
She should have known that when it came to Credence, she did not have the right to speak at all, let alone rejecting him.
It was just like their wedding night. Instead of Dorothy, it was Rosalie who had accompanied him to toast the guests. After all the guests had left, he had dragged her into the bathroom in a drunken state. He then forced her to kneel on the cold floor with her back facing him. In that humiliating posture, he took her first time away.
When Dorothy could no longer withstand it and pass out, Credence’s desire was finally satisfied. In an instant, his burning anger and desire calmed down.
He hated her, and wished that she would die on behalf of Rosalie. However, he was obsessed with her body and was reluctant to let go.
He could only bear with his disgust and hatred toward her while invading her body desperately.
Credence slowly stood up and got dressed. He looked so composed as if nothing had happened.
He then grabbed his suit and threw it on Dorothy’s body. “Get up. Stop playing dead!”
Dorothy was curled up in a ball. Her body was trembling violently as she lay on her back in silence.
Sensing that something was wrong with her, Credence frowned unconsciously. He bent over and put his hand on her forehead, which was burning hot. With that, he immediately picked her up and rushed outside.
He was unaware of how anxious he looked at that time.
