Lorenzo’s pov
The scene I walked into on getting home, was so unexpected, it made me come to a standstill at once.
It was a scene of Mia, kneeling on one of the couches beside the window. She was looking out of it and singing a song which filled up the entire room. It was a familiar song that forced out some of the memories which I had shut down so many years ago. Her voice sounded like that of a siren, beautiful, melodic and oh so soothing.
She didn’t know she wasn’t alone, because she kept on swaying from side to side as each verse rolled off her tongue.
I leaned my head against the doorframe and let out a low curse. The fact that I had hoped to have fucked her out of my system a few hours ago, only for me to arrive here to an image like this which has only made me to once again be thinking of her over and over again.
She was singing a familiar song which my mother used to sing to me when I had been young. The song was in Italian, a language which I had no idea she was fluent in until right now.
I knew the moment she noticed she wasn’t alone sny longer like she was before she had began to sing, because she instantly halted the song at once. Her shoulders which had looked extremely lax, sprung up to the sides of her ears at once.
I let out a low hum as I pushed off the doorframe, heading deeper into the sitting room. Mia finally turned around, and her wide eyes looked me up and down as I got closer to her.
I chose to stop a few inches away while letting my eyes trail over the rest of her body. She wasn’t in the skirt she had worn on accompanying me to go get herself a phone, now, she’s in a flared gown that seems like it stopped midtights. The creamy sight of her thighs called out to me at once and I internally cursed at myself before averting my gaze and focusing on her face once again.
“I had no idea you could sing.” I started as I shoved my hands into my pockets before I did something out of pocket like reach for her cheeks or something worse like reach for those creamy thighs of hers.
Mia’s shoulders stiffened even more and her wide blown eyes narrowed with anger slowly filling it. It took about a minute before she finally responded. “Of course, you didn’t.”
It was obvious she didn’t want to respond in the first place, and that didn’t sit right with me.
I let out a small chuckle. “Pardon?”
“I said you didn’t. I was agreeing with you.” She responded calmly while still staring at me with defiance swimming in her eyes. I regarded her for a few long seconds before shaking my head and letting out a lengthier chuckle.
“Are you messing with me on purpose right now?”
Her eyes widened a little and she finally averted her gaze, and after a few seconds, she reluctantly shook her head in response.
“I see that you know what’s best for you.” I commented after a little while. She let out a little huff and fully turned around on the couch, and at once, my eyes lowered to the neckline of the dress she has on, how it was lowered to reveal a little clevage.
Her tits look so pretty sitting high on her chest right now, and for the life of me, I couldn’t explain why this was getting to me. I’ve never been attracted to small tits until Mia, and I wasn’t sure of what to make of that.
“You said you didn’t know I sing.” She finally spoke up, breaking the silence herself this time. I tore my eyes off her chest to focus on her face, right before she continued to speak.
“You didn’t know this because we never… you know? Talk.”
I stared at her long after she was done speaking, not knowing what to make of what she has just said.
“We never talk about anything. There’s a lot more things you don’t know about me, so don’t be shocked whenever you see me doing something you aren’t aware of beforehand.”
As her words sank into my head, I wondered if she expected me to actually sit with her and hold an actual conversation with her.
Does she think I can do that and still be able to keep my hands off her?
Her eyes narrowed at me a few more minutes, probably because I was yet to say anything yet. “And, this isn’t me asking you to hold conversations with you though, I was just speaking generally, that’s all.”
When I still continued to stare at her without saying a thing, she began to speak once again, although a little beneath her breath this time.
“Not like I’d even want to hold any actual conversation with you.”
I narrowed my eyes at her mumbled words but decided to not dwell on it right now and to instead focus on the main reason why I didn’t head into my office as soon as I arrived home.
“Continue to sing that song.” I finally spoke.
That probably caught her off guard because she visible recoiled backwards while blinking at me.
“What?” She whispered while blinking up at me.
“I won’t repeat myself cause I’m sure I was pretty clear when I spoke.” I informed her, watching as she let out a small huff of disbelief, and then she sat up straighter, folded her arms, and pursed her lips.
“I don’t want to.” She exclaimed.
That honestly took me aback, the defiance in her voice and her eyes as she spat those words out.
“You can’t be serious.” I let out on a scoff.
“I believe I am. You can’t possibly expect me to sing just because you asked me to.” She spat out and I cocked my head sideways while regarding her quietly at first.
“I can, because I expect you to do whatever I tell you to.” I stated quietly.
Her shoulders squared even more as she responded. “You can’t make me.”
I closed the little distance between us and leaned forward over the couch, watching as she leaned backwards at once while blinking up at me, mouth parted in shock at what had just happened in seconds.
“Care to repeat that for me?”
