Lorenzo’s pov
“Now, get out.”
I wasn’t surprised when she jolted, having been clearly lost in her thoughts a few moments ago. She turned around in her seat and blinked a couple of times.
“What?” She whispered and for the life of me, I couldn’t help but think about leaning towards her and slotting my lips with hers.
“We’ve arrived, so off you go. I have somewhere important to be at.”
Her eyes darted everywhere for a moment as realization dawned on her, and then she mumbled an inaudible ‘oh’ as she proceeded to unbuckle her seat belt.
“Uh, thanks for the phone, I guess?” She said next, voice unsure and when I kept staring at her without saying a thing, she gave a few nods of her head while audibly berating herself over slipping once again and thanking me when I had informed her about not liking it over breakfast, yesterday’s morning.
She pushed the door open and closed it a fleeting moment, and then she began to walk towards the house without a backward glance. Of course, my eyes darted to her ass at once, taking in the creamy expanse of her thighs which was revealed due to the shortness of her skirt which she had changed into before we left the house.
Mia most definitely has no idea of how irresistible and attractive she is, because I’m sure she’d have definitely tried to use it to her own advantage if she had been aware. Or perhaps, it could be because she’s completely naive when it comes to things relating to that topic.
I felt my dick start to harden at once as soon as I imagined her face down, ass up as I spread her lower lips and licked into her dripping pussy from behind. Would she kick her legs out and let her cries echo around the entire room? Or, would she try to muffle her cries in the sheets which she’d be gripping tightly like her entire life depended on it? She seems more likely to do the latter, which would lead me into demanding she let her moans echo around loudly… or, I could easily tug her head out of the sheets with a firm grip in her hair, and then…
I shook my head and hastily shoved those thoughts to the back of my mind, and then I instantly powered the engine, driving into the busy road once again while berating myself over letting my selfish desires to take over my mind for a little while.

“If we attack his clan and kidnap his wife, that’s definitely going to leave a very clear message that we’re coming for him, sir.” One of my underbosses proposed after indicating that he had something to say. I scoffed in irritation and waved him off, because his supposed plan was absurd as hell.
“I knew his plan was going to amount to no good, sir. I believe I have a better idea.”
I glanced up at the one who had just spoken. Kevin, whom I’ve worked with for years. I gave a nod of my head, watching as he got to his feet before speaking.
“How about we kill the girl, and then we…”
As soon as he began to speak, a low murmur went through the room, which grated on my nerves instantly.
“Silence, everyone.”
At once, the entire room was as dead as a graveyard. I leaned back into my seat and folded my hand as I began to speak.
“We aren’t doing shit with the girl. Nothing is happening to her because of this damn revenge, and none of you should dare to bring her up in your dumb suggestions ever again. Is that clear?”
“But, Boss–”
I glanced sideways at the person who had just spoken, who flinched at once in fright, and then he cleared his throat and instantly averted his gaze.
“What were you planning on saying?” I demanded, not surprised one bit when he hurriedly shook his head while denying ever attempting to say something a few moments ago.
“I’m sure you don’t need me to advise you to spit it out at once, hence you’d prefer it got beaten out of you?” My voice didn’t shift from its low octavo as I spoke, but there was so much threat and promise behind it, everyone around the table instantly sat up straighter, while the one who I was referring to– Drake, began to sweat buckets.
“Um, ah, you see… what I wanted to say, was that, uh…”
“Anyone care to explain why he’s currently stuttering pathetically right now?” I asked with an exasperated sigh and everyone shook their heads without missing a beat. They all knew how much I hated when any of them did that, I’ve always disliked it, ever since I could remember.
The only person who I found that bearable and a little bit endearing on, was Mia.
“I’m so sorry, boss. What I- what I planned on saying, was that it might make you seem weak…”
A gasp went through the entire room, as Drake began to shake his head frantically while throwing me panicked looks.
“Not that I’m saying you’re weak, boss, because you’re actually a- and obviously not. When I said that, I meant people, everyone around us, including her father, might see you as someone weak, since you have the girl hanging off your arms when she’s supposed to be dead already.”
Once he was done speaking, I kept staring at him and after a few moments, I shook my head and chuckled lowly, which every underboss of mine knew wasn’t a good sign at all.
I got off my chair and placed my hand on Drake’s shoulders, enjoying how he flinched and trembled as I patted his shoulders like a normal friend would do to the other.
“You and I definitely need to have a talk really soon, hm?” As I spoke, Drake’s lips wobbled from fright as he hastily nodded his head, eyes darting around as if wishing he could call for help silently.
“Meeting adjourned everyone. And try your best to come up with smarter plans before next time.” I threw behind my shoulders as I walked past Drake who managed to flinch once more, and then out of the office.
