Natasha, engrossed with mixed emotions kept staring at her two little jewels who unfortunately didn’t recognize her. Then a woman came outside, when she sighted Natasha, her eyes almost popped out. Her heart raced a thousand miles. It was as though she was seeing a ghost.
“Rose, Marcus… Go inside right away,” the woman shouted.
The twin hesitated for a while, but at the end, they walked inside, while glancing weirdly at Natasha who kept staring at them.
Then the woman approached Natasha carefully, “excuse me!” She didn’t want to believe the person standing before her was Natasha for she looked more glorious.
Natasha’s heart continued to hurt badly, she looked at the woman with disdain and asked, “what are you doing with my kids?”
Ruby furrowed her brow in surprise. This person is really Natasha. Did her mother not say that she had succeeded in killing Natasha and throwed her dead body in the trash where she will be eaten by maggots. Did she reincarnate or what?
Ruby was still trying hard to believe her eyes. She was scared. For she thought Natasha was a done deal. Now that Natasha is here, many secrets may be exposed.
Why will Natasha appear at this sensitive moment, for Ruby had been engaged to Dmitry Pushkin and their wedding would be held in a month’s time.
Didn’t the butler say he didn’t know anyone who bears Ruby or Zara, yet Ruby stepped out of here now. Natasha thought.
Ruby, with a shivering mouth, managed to speak, “Natasha, is it really you?”
Natasha smirked, “you and your evil mother thought you could kill me, huh?”
Ruby’s heart fell to her belly, she was scared Natasha may hurt her so she quickly ran towards the main door and shouted, “Mr. Akio!”
In less than ten seconds, the butler appeared, “this woman… I don’t ever want to see her in these premises anymore.” Ruby pointed at Natasha, who was standing a few meters away.
The butler moved into action and quickly went to Natasha, “madam, please walk away.”
Walk away? She’s not leaving here without her kids? She didn’t know how she would do that but there was no way she’s leaving this premises without her kids.
“Get out of my sight,” Natasha said angrily to the butler.
The butler frowned, his fist clenched tightly, “don’t blame me for being rude to you.” He was about to grab Natasha when Natasha swiftly guided it and then kicked him in the chest. The butler went flying in the air and then crashed into a flower.
She wasn’t just in the west improving her medical skills alone, she’s learnt lots of martial skills for the purpose of self defense.
Ruby’s eyes furrowed in shock. She didn’t expect that Natasha would be able to make such a move. And how strong is she? For her to be able to kick Mr. Akio, a retired navy? Ruby was stupefied.
“She’s a ghost,” Ruby concluded. There’s no way the ordinary Natasha she knew would easily defeat a retired navy. She quickly ran inside and picked her phone and then dialed Dmitry’s number. At once, the call was answered. “Hey honey… There’s an urgent matter.”
“Are the kids okay?” Came Dmitry’s voice.
“No, a woman is here trying to hurt them. She had already beaten the butler to stupor.” Ruby said.
Took a while before Dmitry communicated his decision, for he was in a very important meeting but he doesn’t joke with his children. “I’ll be with you shortly.”
Dmitry stood amidst the group of dignified men and women and said, “I’m so sorry ladies and gentlemen, this meeting will be postponed. I have a pressing issue to attend to.”
The dignitaries didn’t really feel pleased with how the meeting was adjourned, their expression wasn’t a pleasant one. Dmitry ignored all their unpleasant gazes and walked away, while Yuri followed.
Whereas, Natasha was now at the main entrance trying to unlock the door but it was a Spanish security storm door, to forcefully open it, one would need a bulldozer.
“Ruby, bring my fucken kids out now and I may spare you,” Natasha shouted but Ruby was too scared to utter a word.
Natasha hit the door repeatedly but got no response from Ruby.
All of a sudden, Natasha heard the screeching sound of an overspeeding car that had just come to a halt. On turning, she waited to see who had driven over. Perhaps, Ruby had called more security men to throw her out of here.
Natasha stepped forward a little and then, her heart raced on seeing Yuri stepping out through the left door while Dmitry stepped out through the right door.
Dmitry glows with grace and his hotness remains extraordinary.
Natasha walked closer and called weakly and passionately, “Dmitry.” She wasn’t sure if he was still alive. Five years ago, after their first passionate kiss, he had gone to Pavel’s territory and after a few days of not seeing him, Pavel had told him he’s dead. Turns out he’s actually alive.
Dmitry however had an ignorant and unpleasant look on his face. Then the main door to the house opened and Ruby appeared. She could be seen running to Dmitry. Dmitry received her in his arms.
Natasha’s heart fell as she saw Dmitry keep Ruby in his embrace.
“I’m scared of this woman,” Ruby cowered, wrapping her hands tightly around Dmitry.
Natasha was stupefied. What in the world is going on? Since when did Ruby and Dmitry have a thing together?
After a while, Ruby disengaged from the hug and then stood beside Dmitry, who remained unfazed.
“Where’s the butler?” Dmitry asked. He couldn’t believe that the petite woman before him could beat the butler.
“Over there,” as soon as Ruby pointed to the flowers that the butler had crashed on , the butler could be seen standing up, his jaw was covered with blood for he had used his jaw to hit the floor when Natasha kicked him.
The sight of his jaw was dreadful. Dmitry then casted his gaze back at Natasha, “who are you?”
This question caused Natasha’s legs to go jelly. It’s been just five years, did he not recognize her again? Has she changed that much? Natasha wished she could see a mirror right now and see if there were big changes between herself of five years ago and her recent self.
“Dmitry, what’s going on? Do you not recognize me again?”
Dmitry was unsurprised that he was calling him by his name, he’s a popular figure, it’s understandable if many people know his name. Natasha didn’t in any way look familiar to him.
“I asked who you are and why are you trying to hurt my kids? Are you looking for death?” Dmitry couldn’t toy with his kid’s safety. His love for his kids is excessive.
“I’m not trying to hurt them. Those kids in there are mine. I only want to take them with me,” Natasha said.
“Dmitry, did you see that this woman is crazy? I think she has a mental problem. I suggest you tell Yuri to throw her out right away,” Ruby quickly chirped.
Dmitry believed what Ruby said and spoke, “You are indeed tired of living. Leave now while you can, otherwise, I’ll have my men cripple you.”
Natasha bursted out into tears. It seemed that Dmitry probably lost a part of his memory. Natasha sobbed. This was Dmitry’s territory, if he should bring his men over, there’s no way she’s surviving it so she knew the best thing to do now is to leave and restrategize.
Natasha nodded and walked away without saying a word.
As she drove away, she kept thinking about her kids. The boy was so handsome and the girl was so beautiful. What in the world has Ruby and her mother done? Natasha knew that if she drives home, she’s definitely spending lots of hours crying but crying can not solve anything at this point. She needs to be proactive and take back what belongs to her as soon as possible while exposing Ruby and Zara.
She thought it would be easy before but seeing that Dmitry had lost his memory, she knew it will be difficult for her to pull through her objectives but she believed she will.
She then drove over to her hospital. While still inside the car, at the underground garage of the hospital, she called Gen Ichiro and he answered immediately, “I’m in the hospital.”
“Very good. I actually planned on calling you in an hour. I’ve got some information regarding Mr. Pavel and Mr. Jucef.”
“Okay, just talk to the receptionist to bring me to your office,” Natasha said.
Gen remembered Natasha didn’t want to be known yet so he agreed. Soon Natasha was before Gen’s office. The staff passing by just greeted her casually, no one knew she’s the legendary miracle doctor.
Gen quickly went to open the door and bowed, “Miracle doctor, you are welcome. Please come in.”
Natasha was about taking the first step in when she heard some commotions downstairs. She went inside Gen’s office and peeped through the window to see what’s going on. She was surprised to see the same car that brought Dmitry to her father’s mansion now in this place. Dmitry could be seen rushing down the car, he hurriedly pulled a girl child from the back seat and the nurses who had quickly rushed to him, helped him carry the girl child and then placed her on the stretcher, then quickly took her inside the hospital.
“Miracle doctor, that man is Dmitry Pushkin, one of the most powerful men in our city. And that girl is his daughter. This is not the first time he will bring his daughter here, his daughter gets sick every week. It’s really sad that despite how skilled I am, I couldn’t help the girl to heal permanently.”
That was Rose? Her daughter. What kind of sickness could have befallen her that she had to be brought to the hospital every week?
