Come With Me

Book:Miracle Doctor And Her Hot CEO Published:2024-6-4

Dmitry casted his firm but a little confused gaze at Natasha, “you are the miracle doctor?”
“That’s right.” Natasha answered calmly. “Although there had been someone parading to be my master. I have no boss.”
Mr. Pushkin kept looking between Dmitry and Natasha confusedly, “who is the woman you marry? She dared to deceive you?” Mr. Pushkin was clearly enraged.
Dmitry remembered how he was lead to the ward the miracle doctor was on the first day his grandfather miraculously stood from the bed. Perhaps, that woman seated between two babies isn’t the miracle doctor. Had she disguised herself as the miracle doctor? Were those kids hers?
Dmitry then placed a call across to Yuri and once he answered, he said to him, “that woman I newly married, send me her picture. Also, Investigate her.”
“Got it, sir.” Yuri answered then he hung the call up.
“Dmitry, you’ve married the wrong person. I will make this person pay,” Mr. Pushkin swore.
Just then, a notification popped up on Dmitry’s phone. Seeing that it was Yuri’s message, he clicked on the picture and it occupied his screen. “Do you know this woman?” Dmitry was now showing the screen of his phone to Natasha.
Seeing that the person on the picture is Ruby, she answered bewilderedly, “that’s my stepsister, Ruby. She must have been lying around that she’s the miracle doctor.”
Natasha said to Mr. Pushkin, “it is that lady that was claiming I was her personal assistant. I don’t have a boss and infact, she had no knowledge of medicine.”
“Let me see,” Mr. Pushkin turned to Dmitry and asked. Dmitry showed the old man the picture on the screen of his phone.
Mr. Pushkin turned his wondering gaze back at Natasha, “I’ll teach her a lesson she won’t forget.” The old man immediately stood and went to where the internal telephone is, then he placed a call across to Kenji. Once the call was connected, he said to him, “meet me in the dinning room now.”
“Yes, sir.” Came Kenji’s reply.
Then the old man went back to sit, “grandfather, don’t be so worked up over this. Why don’t you let me handle it?”
“No one dares to deceive our family. That woman is such a chronic liar.”
Just then, Kenji rushed in, he actually thought there was an emergency. “I need you to find this woman and get rid of her. If her family has a business, get rid of it too. Then tell her family that the series of unfortunate incident that befell them is as a result of ther uncultured daughter trespassing against the Pushkin’s family.”
“Grandfather,” Dmitry called before Kenji could get into action. Once he got the old man’s attention, he said, “let’s not forget that this woman is my wife by law.”
“It’s true she cheated her way in but she’s still Mrs. Pushkin in the books. Her family wouldn’t hesitate to use this against us. We don’t want to act irrationally right now. Please let me handle this, grandfather.”
The old man, still fuming in rage thought about what Dmitry just said for a few seconds and said, “You are right. Either we like it or not, she’s a member of our family now. At least in the books.”
“Yes, grandfather.” Dmitry said calmly then dismissed Kenji.
The old man inhaled deeply then let it all out. “What will you do?” Asked Mr. Pushkin, his attention was towards Dmitry.
“I’ve already had Yuri lunch an investigation on her. The result of the investigation will tell me what to do.” He said very calmly.
Natasha just watched the grandfather and grandson as they exchanged conversation. Natasha had no idea that Mr. Pushkin had persuaded his son to get married to her. She was actually relieved that Ruby took her place. She didn’t want to imagine how marrying Dmitry would look like.
From the little research she had made about him, it was said that Dmitry was a misogynist, one whose hatred for women is excessively strong. Natasha had thought about it over and over as to why someone will have strong hatred against opposite sex. Was it a PTSD stuff or what could have triggered such trait?
“You aren’t talking of divorcing that woman, Dmitry. I want you to divorce her immediately.” Mr. Pushkin said. “Only then can we deal with her and her family.”
“I’ll get her to sign the divorce papers,” Dmitry said. “Why don’t we enjoy the dinner before us? Let’s not let a fraud of a woman ruin this lovely dinner for us.”
Mr. Pushkin nodded and exhaled even more. His heartbeat was now steady and no longer angry as it was, “yes, we should enjoy the dinner.” He managed to force out a smile. Then he glanced at Natasha, “my daughter, please eat.”
Natasha swolled a lump of a saliva and began to eat. Mr. Pushkin and Dmitry also began to eat at the same time.
“Dmitry, a typical you would have had the woman buried by now. Why are you calm about it?” Mr. Pushkin couldn’t help but ask. He knew his grandson better than anyone, he may appear calm, but he’s more dangerous than the most venomous snake in the world.
Dmitry finished chewing the mouthful of food in his mouth and answered, “all women are like that. As for me, I’m not surprised.”
While Mr. Pushkin was processing his words, he added, “you were only angry cause you wonder why a woman would cheat her way into marriage but all women are the same. They are all frauds, lairs, cheats, tyrants, deceivers… what more word can I use, grandfather.” He glanced at his grandfather then continued to eat.
The delicious food in Mr. Pushkin’s mouth suddenly turned sour, he also knew that his grandson had a very negative perspective about women. He had argued with him times without number but it had not produced any result so he wasn’t about to start an unnecessary argument of ‘not all women are like that.’ He can only hope that there would be a woman in this world that will change his perspective with her actions.
Natasha was however boiling in rage as she heard Dmirry make all sorts of ridiculous comments about women. Did he not realize she was seated here? She wanted to refute his statement but she thought, “what’s the point? She was here for a clear purpose and she was not about to ruin it.
When she was almost done eating the food before her, she spoke, “Mr. Pushkin, I need a favor from you. In return, I’ll ensure you recover fully from your illness.”
“Oh, please go on, my daughter,” Mr. Pushkin said.
All these while, Dmitry had not bother taking another glance at Natasha. To him, she’s just another woman trying to be Mrs. Pushkin but making use of her grandfather. It doesn’t matter how innocent she may appear, to him, she was just another charlatanic person.
“I do not have a good relationship with my father. He’s after me and if he finds me, he’ll hurt me.” She said. “I need your protection, sir.”
“I can just bury him this moment.” Mr. Pushkin said. “Kenji” he shouted. For he knew Kenji hadn’t gone far.
“No. No… I do not want him dead, sir. I just want you to make sure he does not hurt me.” Natasha said.
“Give Kenji his details, we’ll give him too much problem that he won’t be able to handle. Then send a strong warning to him to stay away from you.” Mr. Pushkin said. “And I think you may need a personal bodyguard, should I get one for you?”
Natasha thought about it for a while. Having a bodyguard won’t give her all the freedom she needs. She wouldn’t want someone to be on her neck every now and then. If the Pushkin’s family sent a warning to her father, her father would never dare to come after her cause that’s basically asking for war.
Her father isn’t even one of the upper class families. “I do not need the bodyguard for now, sir.”
“Okay. Your father will be taken care of. You have my word.” Mr. Pushkin assured.
“Thank you so much, sir.” Natasha felt relieved.
Soon, they were all done having the dinner and the maids could be seen taking the dishes away from the table.
Dmitry was the first to stand from the table, “father, thanks dearly for the dinner. I’ll be leaving now.”
“Don’t you want to get to know Natasha? She’s going to be your wife as soon as you divorce that deceptive woman.” Mr. Pushkin said.
Dmitry didn’t want to stress his grandfather again, not after how he had been worked up earlier after finding out he had married the wrong woman.
“Of course,” Dmirry took a few steps to Natasha. Natasha also was now standing. “Hey.” Dmitry acted like he was seeing her for the first time.
The fact that he was close to her made Natasha loose her senses. His beautiful scent was driving her crazy that the only thing she wanted to ask was what type of perfume he was using? Must be a custom made perfume.
“Hi,” Natasha greeted back after what looked like a long while. The nervousness on her expression was so obvious.
“Come with me, please,” he requested and she nodded.
Mr. Pushkin watched as both adults walked away from his dinning room. He had a faint smile on his face, for some inexplicable reason, he thinks the miracle doctor may be able to change his son’s perspective about women. How happy would he be to see both adults in love? He would love to experience their love before he dies.
Truth was that, although Natasha was using the ancient method of healing to treat him, Mr. Pushkin knew his days on earth was limited. The modern science doctor had secretly told him he had less than eight months left before all the cells in his body dies.
