Chapter 310 Let the Fact Fly for a While

Book:A King Reborn in Shadows Published:2024-6-4

“The ancient formula you gave to the Kaur family?” Rose’s face turned cold, and she angrily exclaimed, “What’s going on? How could the Kaur family sell the ancient formula to Lilia?!”
Flynn was also perplexed, feeling that things were not as they seemed.
Paulina didn’t believe the ancient formula so how would she sell it to Lilia?
With these thoughts in mind, Flynn dialed Matteo’s phone.
“Mr. Kaur, is the ancient formula I gave you for the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill still there?”
“Ancient formula?” Matteo asked Paulina, who was beside him. “Where did you put the prescription Flynn gave us a couple of days ago?”
“I threw it away!” Paulina replied irritably. “It’s just a useless ancient formula. Who knows if it would kill you? It was crumpled in my pocket, so I threw it away instead of using it as toilet paper!”
Her voice was loud, and Flynn’s face darkened upon hearing it. Suppressing his anger, he said to Matteo, “Mr. Kaur, that is an ancient divine formula worth billions! Now it has fallen into Lilia’s hands, and they have already developed and prepared to launch the new medicine!”
Flynn couldn’t be bothered to say anything further and hung up the phone.
He was already speechless when it came to the Kaur family.
Even if they were given a mountain of gold, they couldn’t hold on to it!
If it weren’t for Matteo, Flynn wouldn’t even want to mention the words “Kaur family”!
“Why did that useless person call about the ancient formula?” Paulina asked, seeing Matteo in a daze, her face cold.
Ever since she found out that Nathan “liked” Madeline, her dissatisfaction with Flynn had reached its peak.
She believed that Flynn had delayed Madeline and the Kaur family.
She constantly hoped for Flynn’s disappearance, and she had just been trying to persuade Matteo a moment ago.
“Flynn said that the ancient formula is worth billions, and now Lilia has developed a new product from it,” Matteo said, frowning.
Madeline had just finished dinner and quickly opened her phone upon hearing this.
The Niarak socialite group exploded with messages.
“What Flynn said is true. Lilia’s NourishNature Pharmaceuticals has released a new product called the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill!”
“What! Could it be that NourishNature’s Returning Heart Pill was developed from the ancient formula your mother lost?” Matteo was shocked.
If that were true, the Kaur family would have missed out on billions!
Paulina’s mouth twitched, but then she coldly snorted, “That useless person couldn’t possibly have something so valuable. The two formulas just have the same name, but the contents are definitely different!”
“It’s probably like that,” Madeline nodded, her face full of disgust. “Flynn hears that you lost the formula and starts spouting nonsense without any scruples! How boring!”
Paulina let out a disdainful snort. “That useless person is always trying to take advantage of any opportunity and even boasts about Ms. Hussain!”
“Matteo, why keep such a person in the family? Besides seeking attention, he doesn’t know anything!”
Matteo furrowed his brow, took a piece of paper from the table, and wrote down the ancient formula as he remembered it. Then he instructed Madeline, “Tomorrow, when NourishNature releases a sample, find a way to get a bottle. I’ll compare the herbal ingredients on the bottle with what I wrote.”
“If they match, it might really be the same ancient formula.”
The reason why an ancient formula is considered ancient is not because of the medicines used, but rather the proportions of each ingredient.
A slight deviation can make a huge difference.
Even if the ingredients are listed on the bottle, without knowing the proportions of each herb, it cannot be replicated.
Matteo didn’t fully believe Flynn’s words either.
He was doing this just to teach him a lesson.
In the past, when Flynn lied, he didn’t take it seriously. Now it was time to make Flynn more honest.
Once they obtained the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill, he would compare it in front of Flynn and see if the child dared to tell big lies!

In the President’s Office of Energence Pharmaceuticals.
Rose’s face turned pale.
With Flynn’s brief explanation, she didn’t need to ask to understand what had happened.
Flynn had given the ancient formula to the Kaur family, and Paulina, considering it useless, had thrown it away, allowing Lilia to pick it up.
Why was the Kaur family so foolish?
Even the usually composed Rose now wanted to explode.
She wished she could slap Paulina hard a few times.
“What should we do next?” Rose asked with exhaustion.
Everything was ready. They just needed to put all their effort into producing the Bone Healing Pill. Once the market responded, Energence Pharmaceuticals would experience a tremendous growth period.
Their market value would soar, and investments would pour in. Their business territory would expand, and they could steadily reclaim their position.
In all of this, the new medicine played a crucial role.
It was Energence Pharmaceuticals’ only advantage.
Now that Lilia also had the ancient formula, Energence Pharmaceuticals was at a significant disadvantage.
“Don’t worry, let the bullets fly for a while,” Flynn said as he sat down and took out the keys to North Grove Villa, tossing them onto the table.
“Energence Pharmaceuticals has become a thorn in their side. Braiden has plenty of underhanded means, so we need to be cautious.”
“I bought a luxury villa, and the security system is connected to Thodell Mansion.”
“As soon as someone enters within a hundred meters of the villa, I’ll know immediately and can be there in five minutes.”
“Move in today!”
Rose was slightly taken aback.
She didn’t expect Flynn to be so thorough in his considerations.
He had bought a villa and installed a security system.
Just as a warm feeling was about to rise in her heart, Flynn poured cold water on her.
“This villa cost twenty million. Don’t forget to pay me back when you have the money.”
Rose’s lips twitched, and she said calmly, “Regarding Lilia’s new medicine, do you have a solution? How long do you plan to let the bullets fly?”
Time is money.
Was Flynn suggesting they just let things develop on their own?
Waiting for Lilia to invest all her funds before doing anything would put Energence Pharmaceuticals in an even more passive position!
Just as they had suppressed Braiden, here came Lilia. Rose was getting a headache.
“How long will we wait? We’ll wait until Lilia has invested all her money,” Flynn said, feeling annoyed as he looked at Rose’s icy expression. “You look neither like someone with a deep grudge nor someone breathtakingly beautiful.”
She didn’t thank him even after he had done so much for her and arranged a villa for her today. She didn’t even have a single word of gratitude.
And the spanking he gave her was too light!
He hadn’t wanted to tell Rose initially, choosing to tease her for a couple more days. But seeing that she didn’t look well, she had probably been working late nights again.
To prevent her from having too much pressure, he had no choice but to reveal everything.
“The efficacy of the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill is indeed impressive, but it has one weakness: the herbs used are too precious, making the production cost very high, around 3, 000 dollars per dose.”
“I will improve the formula and replace the expensive herbs with common ones. The efficacy will be the same as the Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill, and the cost per dose will be around 100 dollars.”
Upon hearing this, Rose’s beautiful eyes lit up.
If they could truly improve the formula and reduce the cost of raw materials, their fortunes would instantly reverse!
Once Lilia had invested significant funds in raw materials, production lines, advertising, and other aspects, Energence Pharmaceuticals could release the improved Ancient Formula Returning Heart Pill at a low price, directly crushing Lilia!
Imagine, if the effects were the same, would you buy a bottle of medicine for 300 dollars or one for 10, 000 dollars?
Lilia, you think you’ve found a great deal, but in reality, it’s a knife that will take half of your life away!
